‘Science is not supposed to be about intimidating, or abusing, or censoring data … There is never supposed to be ‘an accepted view’ of science.’

Risk assessment is an individual right

We all have the right to make this risk-assessment for ourselves. In addition to mortality age-rates, there are also the short, mid, and long-term dangers of the vaccines. Whatever you do, there is risk. Know thyself, know your own conditions, make your own decision and be open to change as conditions change. ABN
Mutation rate of COVID-19 virus is at least 50 percent higher than previously thought
The virus that causes COVID-19 mutates almost once a week—significantly higher than the rate estimated previously—according to a new study by scientists from the Universities of Bath and Edinburgh. Their findings indicate that new variants could emerge more quickly than thought previously.

Vax mandatory in Archdiocese of Chicago for ‘all employees and clergy’
CHICAGO (LifeSiteNews) — Chicago Cardinal Blase Cupich released a new archdiocesan policy, ordering “all employees and clergy” to receive the COVID-19 injections no more than “five weeks” after full approval of “at least one of the three vaccines,” threatening “disciplinary measures” if priests and employees do not comply.

I see only negative value in an unreasonable order like this. People in authority should trust the people whose lives they influence, not command them to obey or else. This is especially true in this case as Cupich is simply wrong. ABN
Covid policy differences made no difference: masks, mandates, lockdowns – no difference in outcomes
Well we’re up to a year and a half of California, Arizona and Nevada following nearly identical curves, but sure experts, human behavior is what makes cases go up and down

And vaccines have made it worse. Are health authorities so narcissistic they cannot admit they got it all wrong? ABN
Any agency or group that promotes anti-science while censoring real science can never be trusted
Fraudulently approving a vaccine does not make it right. Falsely reporting on said vaccine does not make it right. ABN
The evolutionary advantage of playing victim
Scholars from the Immorality Lab at the University of British Columbia created a victim-signaling scale that measures how frequently people tell others of the disadvantages, challenges, and misfortunes they suffer. Those who scored higher on this victim-signaling scale were found to be more likely to virtue-signal—to outwardly display signs of virtuous moral character—while simultaneously placing less importance on their own moral identity. In other words, victim signalers were more interested in looking morally good but less interested in being morally good than those who less frequently signal their victimhood.

You could expand this to include the groupiness of the hard left. Playing victim requires an audience. Also requires an ideology that forces others to pay up. ABN
40% of white-tailed deer tested in four states have antibodies for covid
White-tailed deer (Odocoileus virginianus) are abundant in the United States; they can be seen bounding around rural and urban areas in every state except for Alaska. A new survey carried out by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) detected antibodies for SARS-CoV-2 in wild deer populations in four states. Meaning that the deer contracted coronavirus in the wild and fought off the infection, reports Dina Fine Maron for National Geographic.

AZ AUDIT UPDATE: Auditors to release preliminary report on fraud in the 2020 election next week
The team of forensic auditors in Arizona are set to release their preliminary report on fraud in the 2020 election next week. According to reports Sunday, state auditors will release their early findings the week of August 22.
The preliminary report is expected to show data and election discrepancies found in Maricopa County that they have analyzed to date. Meanwhile, auditors have yet to examine internet routers and voting machines under subpoenas by the state Senate.
Republican state Sen. Wendy Rogers said other states can now use Arizona’s experience to conduct their own audits.
“The media is beside itself because they won’t communicate the truth of the excruciating detail to which this analysis was done,” she stated. “2.1 million ballots…this is a package-able effort, this is a transportable, usable again in other states project that you can take.”

Covid persisted in killing, in those counties where vaccine uptake was heavy as compared to vaccine resistant counties
But this MSA Scatterplot surprised me with a negative relationship between vaccine adoption and resulting reduction in deaths.

This is a concern.
