Free-speech—real free speech with real, uncensored reach, is the thing that can protect us most of all from totalitarians, authoritarians and a dictatorial AI, should something like that evolve and gain power.

Many of us are willing to do all we can to protect free speech, but few of us have the power and reach of a Durov or Musk.

This is but one example of why it is important for us to support wealthy and powerful elites when they are doing the right thing.

Free-speech is our strongest protection against any form of AI gone wild.

Only a loud and insistent, well-informed public, whose speech cannot be throttled by politicians, bureaucrats or AI, will be able to stop an AI algorithm that is going off the rails. ABN

This Eastern Hunter-Gatherer individual was found in the Samara region. His Y-DNA was R1b-P297, and his mtDNA U5a1d. Pigmentation analysis indicates that he carried genes for light skin, light hair, and blue eyes. His cranial measurements include a medium-large cranial length of 181 mm, a medium-small cranial width of 135 mm, and a large cheek width of 137 mm.

The idea of a distinct Sub-Ural population stratum emerging in deep antiquity was developed on the basis of Early Neolithic skulls recovered from burials near the villages of Chekalino and Lebyazhinka in the Samara region. This population was classified as belonging to what is termed the Ancienturalic race. [Khokhlov, 2017]

The concept of the Ancienturalic race was introduced by anthropologist Viktor Bunak. He proposed that a unique anthropological formation arose in the Ural region during the Neolithic, possibly as early as the Paleolithic. This group possessed a set of traits intermediate between Caucasoids and Mоngolоids, yet developed independently of both, originating from a very ancient, autochthonous layer. The male skull from Lebyazhinka IV, associated with the Elshan culture, like many other individuals belonging to the EHG cluster, exhibits precisely this combination of features.

Supreme Court to consider sweeping move by President Trump to end birthright citizenship

The US Supreme Court has agreed to weigh in on the constitutionality of Donald Trump‘s controversial efforts to end birthright citizenship. 

The conservative-dominated court made the decision on Friday. It has not set a date for oral arguments in the case, but it is likely to be early next year. A decision would then be expected by the summer. 

On the president’s first day back in the White House for his second term, he signed an executive order called ‘Protecting the Meaning and Value of American Citizenship.’

The order declared that children born on US soil to illegal immigrants and those on temporary visas would not automatically become citizens.

Somali refugees in Minnesota have committed the ‘biggest theft of taxpayer dollars in US history’ and local Democratic officials were ‘fully complicit’ in the scheme, White House officials declared Friday night.

Federal authorities announced this week that at least 86 people – mostly within small Somali communities in the state – have stolen more than $1 billion in public funds from programs meant to feed children, assist the homeless and provide autism therapy.

The suspects allegedly ran companies that billed Minnesota state officials for millions of dollars in social services that were never actually rendered in three separate fraud schemes.

It has since been revealed that Representative Ilhan Omar and Minnesota Governor Tim Walz had connections with at least some of the Somali refugees charged in the massive scheme.

As a Japanese person, I have a lot of mixed feelings about the United States…

But on this 80th anniversary of the end of the war, I will say this with absolute certainty: It is Americans—not Chinese—who have truly earned the trust of the Japanese people!

They are willing to put themselves at risk to protect us. That is the result of 80 years of history built up since the war!

Of course, not every single American is like that, but the number of Americans who genuinely like Japan is definitely increasing, and they are the ones trying to re-examine history

Revealed: The key sign that indicates a woman might be a PSYCHOPATH

Psychopaths are typically portrayed as men in blockbuster hits – whether it’s Patrick Bateman in American Psycho or The Joker in The Dark Knight. 

But a new study has shed light on female psychopaths, and the key traits they possess. 

Researchers from Université Libre de Bruxelles surveyed 492 people to understand whether there is a link between emotional functioning and dark personality traits. 

Their analysis revealed that higher levels of alexithymia and anhedonia were associated with psychopathy – but only in women. 

Alexithymia – also called emotional blindness – is characterised by not being able to understand one’s own emotions.

Anhedonia, meanwhile, describes a near–complete absence of enjoyment, motivation, and interest.

‘For male psychopaths this may veer towards physical domination through violence, bullying and threats.

‘For female psychopaths this may veer towards manipulation through seduction, relational aggression, and spreading rumours and lies about people aimed at gaining personal advantage and preferment over those people.’

Future of Surface Warfare: China’s New Semi-Submersible Unmanned Missile Carrier Breaks Cover

The first images of China’s new semi-submersible unmanned missile carrying trimaran warship has surfaced on local social media, showing a profile view of the vessel in the water in what appears to be the Huangpu shipyard in Guangzhou.

The warship program is being developed with a particularly high degree of secrecy, with prior images showing much of its structure concealed under tarpaulins.

From what is visible of the design, it appears to have been intended to be capable high speeds, with an ability to submerge to confuse radar tracking and evade missile attacks.

The Chinese People’s Liberation Army Navy has long ben expected to make greater use of unmanned missile carrying warships to provide support for its fast growing destroyer fleet, which has increasingly led the world in its capabilities.

CDC vaccine panel votes to stop recommending hepatitis B vaccine to all newborns

The CDC’s vaccine panel has voted to stop vaccinating all newborns against Hepatitis B.

Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F Kennedy Junior‘s hand-picked panel made the recommendation Friday after delaying the vote yesterday.

Members of the CDC‘s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) voted eight to three to recommend that the shot, which protects against a potentially life-threatening liver infection, should no longer be given to all newborns within 24 hours of birth.

Instead, they recommended that, for mothers who did not test positive for hepatitis B, they should consult with their doctor on whether or not to vaccinate their newborn against the disease.

They also voted to recommend that the initial dose of the hepatitis B vaccine should not be administered earlier than two months of age.

Stunning treasure trove discovered in ancient Egyptian tomb rewrites history

Archaeologists in Egypt have uncovered a stunning treasure trove hidden inside an ancient royal tomb, a discovery so rare it is rewriting history. 

Buried deep beneath the sands of Tanis, researchers found 225 exquisitely crafted funerary figurines arranged in a mysterious ceremonial pattern, yet the tomb itself was empty of a body. 

The find has electrified the archaeological world, not only for its scale but for its baffling implications. 

More than half of the figurines are female, an almost unheard-of feature in royal burials, raising new questions about funerary customs during Egypt’s fractured Third Intermediate Period. 

The figurines were laid out in a star-like formation and in perfect horizontal rows, suggesting an intentional ritual design untouched for nearly 3,000 years. 

This is the first time in almost 80 years that figurines have been discovered undisturbed inside a royal tomb at Tanis, making it one of the most significant finds at the site since the 1940s. 

Most astonishing of all, the royal symbols on the miniature servants confirm that the empty tomb belonged to Pharaoh Shoshenq III, a ruler whose final resting place has puzzled Egyptologists for decades.  He reigned from 830 to 791 BC.
