And before you say that he worked for free, he did not have to file a financial disclosure because he “worked for free”. This looks more like a workaround.
Elon donated over $290M to Trump’s campaign. The morning Trump was sworn in, Musk’s companies faced $2.37B in legal exposure across 11 federal agencies.
Then he was handed power over those same agencies. Inside the first quarter, six of the regulators investigating Elon’s companies were cut, closed, or told to stand down.
So, he spent ~$290M to elect Trump and he left office with his cases dead and SpaceX ~$6B RICHER in NEW defense contracts.
That is not a Department of Government Efficiency.And as someone who was on the inside when this all went down, the strategy behind finding these contracts was incredibly inefficient and just caused defense contractors, such as Booz Allen Hamilton, to merely change their name from consulting to technology. It merely caused word changes in contracts. Contracts that are bloated and should be cut, weren’t even looked at. And in the end, it cost tax payers exponentially more than it saved, including data privacy,

Countries, borders, and nationality are not sacred things. They are tools for partially solving the problem of human coexistence. A country is not just a random group of people inside an arbitrary line on a map. It is a fragile system of laws, norms, expectations, customs, institutions, trust, language, welfare arrangements, and political legitimacy.
To keep such a system functioning, it matters who is allowed to join it, at what scale, and under what conditions. This is not because outsiders have less human worth. It is because a functioning society is not automatic. Peaceful coexistence is difficult, historically rare, and easy to damage.
Normally we simplify this with ideas like citizenship and nationality: if you are born here, you are part of the political community and the state has special obligations to you; if you are born elsewhere, you do not automatically have the same claim. That can sound cruel when reduced to first principles, but it is also practical. A society has much more ability to shape, educate, socialize, and govern people born inside its institutions than people arriving from very different political, cultural, or economic environments.
Immigration can be good, bad, or neutral depending on numbers, selection, integration, timing, and the receiving society’s capacity. But it is not something one can treat as morally simple. If you move people from one social system into another, some part of the first system comes with them. That does not make them bad people. It just means migration has real effects on the host society and cannot be treated as a purely individual transaction.
Modern first-world countries are, in historical terms, unusually stable and successful arrangements. They are so successful that people risk their lives to enter them. But that stability did not appear by magic. It depends on institutions, norms, trust, enforcement, and a bounded political community.

Well-argued. I would add that mass migration into the West is also a deliberate act of war against the West, an invasion encouraged by traitors in government and outside of government. Mayorkas is a clear example of someone who threw open our borders. He was aided and abetted by Dems and many other corrupt politicians and economic forces. The West must reasonably face its declining birthrates through domestic policies, not immigration. Mass immigration at levels we are seeing today will result in the annihilation of the West within a few more generations. This is killing the goose that lays golden eggs. All aspects of this problem must be faced full on, including declining birthrates. Either accept them and accept a smaller economy or figure out how to have more babies. In 1950, the population of USA was 180 million and the world’s was 2 billion. Everything was fine in USA. Rest of world not so much, but the third world has grown massively since 1950. Another side of this is the quality of immigrants/ invaders. Many of them really are low-IQ and come from clannish societies, so they will never be able to adapt, and evidence for that is everywhere. I greatly dislike the way these two words—trigger and microaggression—are currently being used.
Trigger implies that something inevitable will follow while microaggression outright claims that the other person is at fault.
I much prefer my own neutral term for those small stimuli that might cause emotional discomfort.
My term is psychological morpheme, which is defined as:
The smallest meaningful unit of a psychological response. It is the smallest unit of communication that can give rise to an emotional, psychological, or cognitive reaction.
I strongly believe psychological morphemes exist and that they arise at distinct moments and that these moments can be perceived by the owner of them and that that owner of these moments can and must learn to control them, analyze them, learn from them.
It is a huge mistake to automatically blame another person for our own psychological morphemes. From a FIML point of view, there is almost nothing worse.
The reason this is a really bad thing to do is you are very likely wrong.
Even if you are wrong only one out of twenty times, the consequences of your mistake can be very large. I guarantee you are wrong much more often than that.
I say this after doing years of FIML practice during which I have discovered in myself and my partner hundreds of wrong psychological morphemes, most of which were connected to subjective networks that had grown large over many years.
Most psychological morphemes arise due to habits of subjective interpretation.
Rather than let these subjective interpretations have their way, a far more profitable and much wiser course of action is to stop that process at the initiating morpheme. Stop it before it gets going and fills your mind.
If you can stop it at the psychological morpheme and analyze it with the help of your FIML partner, those morphemes will not become mindless triggers that you wrongly interpret as microaggression, but rather opportunities to see and understand how your brain is actually functioning in real-time.
Psychological morphemes are also commonly misinterpreted as signs that reside in the other person of boredom, anger, contempt, arrogance, insecurity, optimism, happiness, pleasure, and so on including as many states as you can imagine.
