FEMA SHOULD BE TERMINATED — Trump

__________

Conservatives despise Big Government because control is always seized by bad actors who then cook the books, steal, and cheat wherever they can. What’s worse is as their power grows, they become more and more oppressive and violent. Consider the persecution of J6 attendees, Biden admin disregard for human trafficking and fentanyl at the border, their manifest willingness to cheat in elections. History proves the left is always more dangerous than the right, which at worst is typically a reaction to an over-the-top leftist regime or threat. ABN

Where is the USA money sent to Ukraine really going?

This illustrates the First Noble Truth of Buddhism — the suffering, greed, ignorance and immorality which characterize mundane reality in this world. And it’s not just the money. There’s two million dead bodies, destroyed cities, a ruined nation (which never had a chance). The people doing this are living at the lowest levels of human existence. If all goes well much of it will be discovered and prevented from happening again. But human life is always characterized by our potential to engage in extremely low behavior. That is a core Buddhist teaching so none of us should be overly surprised to see this real-world horror. Gaza is not much different. ABN

Musk’s 19-year-old DOGE lieutenant sparks concern after taking new role at the State Department

A 19-year-old DOGE worker and ‘acolyte’ of Elon Musk known online as ‘Big Balls’ has been elevated to a new role at the State Department, eliciting fury from some within the agency.

‘Big Balls,’ whose real name is Edward Coristine, first made headlines when he was identified as one of Musk’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) prodigies working to slash government waste.

Coristine, along with a gang of other young men aged 25 and below, have been credited with analyzing the data of major federal agencies to streamline workflows, identify wasteful spending, and recommend changes to DOGE leadership.

Now, the Washington Post reports that Coristine has been tapped to become a ‘senior adviser’ at the State Department’s Bureau of Diplomatic Technology.

This new position is in addition to the 19-year-old’s current roles at DOGE and the Office of Personnel Management.

The bureau serves as the IT hub for the entire State Department and it maintains the data and communications coming in from U.S. diplomatic outposts around the world.

The DOGE clock keeps ticking: $74 billion saved and counting — EKO

When DOGE found empty fields in Treasury’s payment system, they uncovered more than missing data. They found a mechanism.

Simple things were left blank:

Payment categories

Payment rationales

Basic audit controls

The kind of fields any small business would require. The kind that let you track where money goes. The kind that stop a billion dollars of fraud. Every week.

Here’s what Treasury didn’t want exposed:

Over $100 billion flowing annually to accounts without Social Security numbers. No temporary ID numbers. No verification. Nothing. When Musk asked Treasury officials how much was “unequivocal and obvious fraud,” the answer revealed decades of corruption: Half.

Image

Let that sink in.

$50 billion per year.

A billion dollars every week disappearing into accounts that shouldn’t exist.

The kind of fraud that would shut down any bank in America. The kind that would land any business owner in federal prison.

This is a good read and helps visualize what is happening. Much of it looks like treason to me. We start by finding where the money is going. But following that is why and what they are doing with it. It does appear that the people freaking out the most over this are the perps. They are universally aghast someone is looking at the books but not in the least concerned about the criminal corruption being uncovered. ABN

Nancy Mace makes stunning accusations of rape and sex trafficking in ‘scorched earth’ House floor speech

Rep. Nancy Mace delivered an astonishing speech on the floor of the House Monday night where she said she had uncovered a ring of men who engaged in serial rape and sex trafficking while filming their victims.

The South Carolina Republican brought a series of props to the well of the House including handcuffs, cameras, a safe, and a drinking glass to illustrate her case, as she spoke for more than half an hour on the floor about the explosive allegations.

Mace said the glass served as a representation of how she says she was raped after blacking out when served two small vodka sodas.

She identified the alleged perpetrators by name – even giving the towns they live in – on the House floor during extended speaking time that had been yielded to her by the congressional Republican leadership.

Mace describes a video of her being raped after having been given drugs. That’s a bad thing all around. I sympathize 100% and also would like to direct readers attention to the fact that millions of white people are drugged and lobotomized in a similar fashion across the West. Incapacitating our strongest young people is a major factor in why the West has become so passive and weak. A trained ghoul can perform a lobotomy in a few minutes using a hypodermic needle filled with ethanol, which is but one method. These are military attacks designed to weaken the West. If you can comprehend a group of bozos raping women after giving them roofies, as Mace describes, you can also comprehend a clandestine military force living inside the West doing psychosurgeries. The crime could start in a bar or a party and be done with roofies. It could be done with a gas or aerosol sedative in your car. A knock on the door followed by a knockout drug is yet another way. We cannot overcome this decades-long slow moving disaster within our civilization until we can fully comprehend what is happening. ABN

Musk-led group makes $97.4 billion bid for control of OpenAI

Feb 10 (Reuters) – A consortium led by Elon Musk said on Monday it has offered $97.4 billion to buy the nonprofit that controls OpenAI, months after the billionaire sued the artificial intelligence startup to block it from transitioning to a for-profit firm.

Musk’s bid could ratchet up longstanding tensions with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman over the future of the startup at the heart of a boom in generative AI technology.

Altman promptly posted on X: “no thank you but we will buy twitter for $9.74 billion if you want.”

The two are already embroiled in an ongoing lawsuit. Musk criticized a $500 billion OpenAI-led project called Stargate announced with great fanfare at the White House just after President Donald Trump returned to office, suggesting the investors involved lacked the funding for the project.

“It’s time for OpenAI to return to the open-source, safety-focused force for good it once was,” Musk said in the press release. “We will make sure that happens.”

Scientists develop laser tech for long-range surveillance, plan 6-mile reach

This technology could advance security, monitoring, and remote sensing.

Anew LiDAR system has been developed that may see through fog and smoke to reveal hidden objects and provide highly detailed remote sensing capabilities. This technology could advance security, monitoring, and remote sensing.

This uniquely designed LiDAR system is based on “single-photon time-of-flight” technology to acquire high-resolution 3D images of objects.

Interestingly, the new system can clearly image a human face in 3D up to half a mile away.

“This type of measurement system could lead to improved security and monitoring systems that could, for example, acquire detailed depth images through smoke or fog and of cluttered scenes,” said Aongus McCarthy from Heriot-Watt University in the UK.

“It could also enable the remote identification of objects in various environments and monitoring of movement of buildings or rock faces to assess subsidence or other potential hazards,” added McCarthy, who is the study’s first author.
