But critics flood with his messy past (abuse allegations, military fibs) instead of probing the claims. It’s the trap: Smear the messenger, ignore the message. If he’s lying, prove it with facts—not character assassination. Don’t let Hollywood scripts play out in real life. Verify first.

This is what all of us who know something very important and devastating fear, along with being killed or drugged into psychosis. Attacks like this are predictable and often work. In most cases, dangerous stories are also complex and, typically, the perpetrators are better at weaving the coverup than we are seeing with this one. Newsguard will note for their information filtering system, that Mayor Jacob Frey did not directly say residents of the region will start killing ICE agents. However, Mayor Frey did say if the ICE deportation operations continue, ICE agents are likely to be killed. The obvious question is, ‘who will do the killing, Jacob‘?

EU leaders from across the spectrum of their collective assembly, are furious with the administration of President Donald Trump for restricting their entry into the United States by blocking their visa permissions. However, these same EU leaders are the people who sent operatives into the United States in order to interfere in our 2024 election.
The Vice President of the European Commission, Kaja Kallas, sums up the European position: “The decision by the U.S. to impose travel restrictions on European citizens and officials is unacceptable and an attempt to challenge our sovereignty. Europe will keep defending its values — freedom of expression, fair digital rules, and the right to regulate our own space.”
The “attempt to challenge our sovereignty” statement is a particular type of hubris when we consider THIS:

Officials in Maine have suspended state Medicaid payments to a Somali-run charity after more than a million dollars in possible fraud was discovered in several audits of the charity’s services.
The Maine Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) has cancelled MaineCare payments to Gateway Community Services after the audits found that the charity over billed the state for $1,068,598 from March 2021 through December 2022. The cash was supposedly to cover the costs of “interpreting services” to Somali migrants, the Bangor Daily News reported.
This same organization has been under investigation before. Gateway reportedly overbilled for more than $600,000 between 2015 and 2018, and is still under a cloud of suspicion for other violations found during a third state audit completed in 2024.

The reality is individuals, even at or near the top, do not have much power over how the global/Western political system works.
Everyone at or near the top is enmeshed in circles of people, money, and power.
When power in the system is applied, as in Gaza, I doubt Thiel has any say in how his products are used.
A good analogy for how political power works is in the video below, which describes how big banks and huge funds have entirely captured not just the world’s money supply but also what money even is.
The only way we the plebs can affect any of this is make our views known. We have a weak position but our opinions do matter.
My sense is Thiel is not evil. His embarrassment and fumbling are likely symptoms of his knowing the slaughter in Gaza is horrible and he is powerless.
Many people, myself included, do not even want to participate in the system since it strongly feels like making a pact with the devil.
That’s the world. Some of us are in the thick of it, making the world turn.
Some of us become artists, hermits or monks.
I have a clear conscience but am also aware that I do not face the moral conundrums Thiel faces daily.

Government debt explained; and why the whole world is trapped
About 15 people were injured in a stabbing spree at the Yokohama Rubber factory in Mishima city in Shizuoka prefecture, Japan, on Friday, according to the fire department.
According to the police, the man, who is believed to have stabbed the victims, has been detained and arrested on the spot for suspicion of murder, the Sankei Shinbun reported.
The suspect self-identified as Masaki Koyama, 38, and is believed to be a resident of the factory.
The incident occurred around 4:30 pm local time. A call was made to emergency number 119, reporting that “five of six people were stabbed by someone” at the rubber factory. A “spray-like liquid” was also used on the victims. The liquid is reportedly ‘chlorine bleach, ‘ news site Aashi Newspaper reported.
Koyama was carrying a survival knife and wearing a gas mask during the stabbing.
