‘How many layers of translation do you need to go down? You’re going to fit the narrative to the cultural capabilities of the observer… which is why the observations change over time’ — Garry Nolan on why aliens show themselves to us as they do

This works for me and is something I have considered for many years. Many of us see not just one thing or one incident or one profound inkling, but many things, some of them disparate, not the same but also connected, profoundly beautiful, magnificent and sensible, always indicating a much larger reality not pinned to the conditions of ordinary earth life, restricted rationalism. Nolan is pinning this to science, which is fine, but not entirely necessary or even necessarily the truest way to see it. It is a good way to communicate, which is what he is doing. I bet he would agree with what I have said here. ABN

Vaccine breakthrough means no more chasing strains

Every year, researchers try to predict the four influenza strains that are most likely to be prevalent during the upcoming flu season. And every year, people line up to get their updated vaccine, hoping the researchers formulated the shot correctly.

The same is true of COVID vaccines, which have been reformulated to target sub-variants of the most prevalent strains circulating in the U.S.

This new strategy would eliminate the need to create all these different shots, because it targets a part of the viral genome that is common to all strains of a virus. The vaccine, how it works, and a demonstration of its efficacy in mice is described in a paper published today in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

“What I want to emphasize about this vaccine strategy is that it is broad,” said UCR virologist and paper author Rong Hai. “It is broadly applicable to any number of viruses, broadly effective against any variant of a virus, and safe for a broad spectrum of people. This could be the universal vaccine that we have been looking for.”

Buddhism, Islam and Religious Pluralism in South and Southeast Asia

In Thailand, Cambodia and Sri Lanka, Buddhists see strong links between their religion and country, as do Muslims in Malaysia and Indonesia

As some practices and philosophies related to Buddhism have become more commonplace in the United States and other Western countries, many Americans may associate Buddhism with mindfulness or meditation. In other parts of the world, however, Buddhism is not just a philosophy about mind and body – it is a central part of national identity.

In Cambodia, Sri Lanka and Thailand – countries where at least 70% of adults are Buddhist – upward of nine-in-ten Buddhists say being Buddhist is important to being truly part of their nation, according to a 2022 Pew Research Center survey of six countries in South and Southeast Asia.

A bar chart showing that religion and national identity are tied together in Buddhist-majority countries

For instance, 95% of Sri Lankan Buddhists say being Buddhist is important to be truly Sri Lankan – including 87% who say Buddhism is very important to be a true Sri Lankan.

Although most people in these countries identify as Buddhist religiously, there is widespread agreement that Buddhism is more than a religion.1 The vast majority of Buddhists in Cambodia, Sri Lanka and Thailand not only describe Buddhism as “a religion one chooses to follow” but also say Buddhism is “a culture one is part of” and “a family tradition one must follow.”

Most Buddhists in these countries additionally see Buddhism as “an ethnicity one is born into” – 76% of Cambodian Buddhists hold this view, for example.

These findings come from a Pew Research Center survey conducted among 13,122 adults in six countries in Southeast and South Asia. Interviews were conducted face-to-face in Cambodia, Indonesia, Sri Lanka and Thailand and on mobile phones in Malaysia and Singapore. Local interviewers administered the survey from June to September 2022, in eight languages.

This article provides a good overview of religious beliefs within the countries mentioned at the top. ABN

Foreign companies increasingly exiting China

…the direction of travel is unmistakable: once regarded among Western multinationals as the great business opportunity of this century, foreign businesses are pulling out of the country in growing numbers.

The danger for China is that what started as a trickle may quickly become a flood – if it hasn’t already. The list of major companies heading for the exit may be greater than those still operating in China.

USAID, DoS, CIA Begin Structured Color Revolution on Russia’s Border in Georgia

You may have heard of the protests in Tbilisi, Georgia recently. The protests are framed around what the State Dept and CIA call “Russian favored” legislation.

The Georgia legislation essentially says that domestic lobbyists, NGO’s, entities, groups and individuals who are funded more than 20% by foreign interests need to register as such.

Essentially, the USA law we call the Foreign Agent Registration Act (FARA), is what the country of Georgia is enacting in their own political landscape.  However, the USA is not happy about the Georgia law to disclose the source of foreign funding (most of it anti-government) because the USA (specifically the State Dept and CIA) is the source of that funding.

This Georgia political scheme is yet another U.S. led color revolution in the same hues as 2014 Ukraine.

As noted by Global News, “in Georgia, protests have erupted over a proposed law requiring organizations with foreign funding to register their activities with the government. Critics compare the bill to similar legislation used to silence opposition groups in Russia. Thousands of Georgians marched through the capital, Tbilisi, on Sunday to voice their opposition to the bill, with opposition parties and civil society groups calling for mass protests against its expected passage.

Arizona Republican Party Declares Covid-19 Injections Biological and Technological Weapons

The Arizona Republican Party is now the second state Republican Party to pass a ‘Ban the Jab’ resolution and declare COVID-19 injections biological and technological weapons.

Patriot, Dan Schultz, of PrecinctStrategy.com submitted the ‘Ban the Jab’ resolution that the Republican Party of Arizona. The Arizona GOP voted today and passed the resolution with approximately 96% of the vote.

The resolution declares the COVID-19 injections to be biological and technological weapons and calls on the Governor to prohibit their distribution and the Attorney General to confiscate the vials and conduct a forensic analysis of their contents.

In addition to being an attorney, Dan Schultz is a former West Point graduate and former U.S. Army counterintelligence and human intelligence officer.

Mr. Schultz advocates the Precinct Strategy, which seeks to wrestle control of the Republican Party back to the people. Previously, Dan Schultz submitted the ‘Ban the Jab’ resolution to the Maricopa County GOP.

Does USA have a super-weapon or are they bluffing?

I have been saying for a long time that our top elite/ comitatus possess a super-weapon because that is the most likely explanation for their reckless foreign (and domestic) policies. What Forbes says below about ‘doomsday weapons’ and ‘absolute supremacy over the planet’ is plausible, in my view, though I do not agree that the elite is afraid they will lose power due to that technology. Who is going to disclose something so complex and how would they do it?

I enjoy Forbes’ work on MH370, but there is no way any of it will force disclosure of anything important. In one of his videos, Forbes shows an image made public by China. The image seems to indicate that China knows what Forbes is saying is right; that that’s what happened to the plane. The question arises, is our comitatus bluffing about their super-weapon? Are they intentionally frightening Russia and China with a bogus story that may cause them to be more restrained? That would be a kind of mind-control, which USA is a master at. I suppose Forbes may be in on the bluff and that’s why he rose to fame so quickly. I do like they guy, though, and hope he is as he presents himself. ABN
