A new analysis of thousands of records shows that, thanks largely to AIPAC’s nonprofit arm, Israel is far and away the No. 1 destination for privately sponsored foreign travel by members of the House and their aides.
More than a quarter of the roughly 4,100 privately sponsored foreign trips they have reported taking since 2012 were for travel to Israel, according to a study by the Howard Center for Investigative Journalism at the University of Maryland, which is publishing its findings in partnership with POLITICO.
That’s more trips to Israel than to the entire Western Hemisphere and the continent of Africa combined.

It is because people with some higher cognitive training (but not quite enough) tend to become deeply entranced by the mores and strictures of their fields of study and those who teach them. Math, some hard sciences and engineering are somewhat less likely to have this problem because of objective rigor and subject matter less conducive to hypnosis. Once instilled, a trance state will be passed down from one generation to the next, often causing one generation after another to become weaker, less thoughtful, and even more entranced. In their new study, Gavin S. Vance and colleagues examined how men’s intelligence related to behaviors such as partner-directed insults, sexual coercion, and relationship investment.
Their research builds on existing theories that intelligence could influence romantic relationship behaviors. Some past studies suggested that specific cognitive abilities, such as problem-solving and memory, can contribute to better conflict resolution between partners. For instance, people with strong working memory skills tend to recall their partner’s perspective during conflicts, helping to reduce the severity of relationship issues.
Working memory can be cultivated and improved. Memory is important in Buddhist mindfulness practice as well as in Buddhist ethical practices. Memory skills greatly enhance FIML practice. An influential American physician has admitted to delaying, for nine years, the publication of a taxpayer-funded study on the mental health effects of puberty blockers in youth with gender dysphoria for fear that the results could be used to support prohibitions of so-called “gender-affirming care” for minors.
Dr. Johanna Olson-Kennedy, a leading Los Angeles physician who runs the largest youth gender clinic in the United States, told the New York Times that she and her colleagues have delayed publication of results from a two-year-long study funded by the National Institutes of Health because they worried that the findings would be used by critics of transgender procedures for minors.
“I do not want our work to be weaponized,” Olson-Kennedy told the publication.
The nearly $10 million study followed the development of 95 children from across the country to see if their mental health improved following treatment with puberty blockers.
Olson-Kennedy said that treatment with puberty blockers did not lead to mental health improvements, likely because the children were doing well when the study began.
“They’re in really good shape when they come in, and they’re in really good shape after two years,” she said.
But the unpublished findings contradict preliminary research released by Olson-Kennedy and colleagues in 2022, which found approximately a quarter of adolescents were depressed or suicidal before starting either puberty blockers or cross-sex hormones.
Gender, race, and IQ studies are all politicized. Inverted woke ideology demands it. This is not science, nor is it a good way to run a huge society.
