Google introduces its new global censorship tool
Google has partnered with the United Nations, World Health Organization and others in a new global censorship tool that was introduced last Monday, according to LaToya Drake, head of Google News Lab.
Google News Lab is “a team within the Google News Initiative whose mission is to collaborate with journalists to fight misinformation” and other things. And, the Google News Initiative (“GNI”) “works with publishers and journalists to fight misinformation.” The GNI and its Lab seem to be one and the same thing with the Lab simply being a page on the GNI website.
Below are the short descriptions from GNI’s ‘About’ page. The titles are misleading. For example, following the ‘Our partners’ hyperlink contained in the words “learn more” does not lead to a list or overview of its partners. It leads to ‘Case Studies’: Some “stories” about “how news organisations around the world are growing their news coverage and digital businesses.” After which Google advertises some other of its products and invites the reader to “sign up for our newsletter.”
We truly have entered the era of George Orwell’s Doublethink and Doublespeak.
GNI doesn’t describe itself for what it is – the global internet censorship – instead Google describes it as “Fact Check Tools.”
What is GNI’s true purpose? Its purpose is to eliminate dissent on any topic Google chooses. “The algorithms are Google’s last-ditch attempt to control the internet before people worldwide can no longer access it. The goal is to have one point of view. Google calls it ‘Data Commons’,” Naked Truth News wrote.
Hosted by Google, Data Commons aggregates data from a wide range of sources into a unified database. It is a collection of data and tools which, broadly speaking, comprise a “knowledge graph” linking data from numerous open sources, supporting schemas, an API to access data in the graph, a graph browser, and a fact-check dataset.
This basic thing is not new. It is, rather, a consolidation and public announcement of what has been happening for many years. Censorship and mind-control are so blatant, I am genuinely surprised there is anyone who does not see it. ABN

Intelligence agencies have been manipulating the online encyclopedia for more than a decade, Larry Sanger has claimed
Wikipedia is one of many tools used by the US liberal establishment and its allies in the intelligence community to wage “information warfare,” the site’s co-founder, Larry Sanger, has told journalist Glenn Greenwald.
Speaking on Greenwald’s ‘System Update’ podcast, Sanger lamented how the site he helped found in 2001 has become an instrument of “control” in the hands of the left-liberal establishment, among which he counts the CIA, FBI, and other US intelligence agencies.
“We do have evidence that, as early as 2008, that CIA and FBI computers were used to edit Wikipedia,” he said. “Do you think that they stopped doing that back then?”
Activity by the CIA and FBI on Wikipedia was first made public by a programming student named Virgil Griffith in 2007. Griffith developed a program called WikiScanner that could trace the location of computers used to edit Wikipedia articles, and found that the CIA, FBI, and a host of large corporations and government agencies were scrubbing the online encyclopedia of incriminating information.
“[The intelligence agencies] pay off the most influential people to push their agendas, which they’re already mostly in line with, or they just develop their own talent within the [intelligence] community, learn the Wikipedia game, and then push what they want to say with their own people,” Sanger told Greenwald.
“A great part of intelligence and information warfare is conducted online,” he continued, “on websites like Wikipedia.”
Shots Fired: Twitter Explores Lawsuit Against Pro-Censorship Operatives
Twitter parent company X corp is exploring a lawsuit against the Center for Countering Digital Hate (CCDH), a UK-based dark money nonprofit run by a far-left British Labour Party operative named Imran Ahmed.
…A similar lack of evidence underpins a July 20 letter from “X” attorneys to CCDH and its CEO, Ahmed, which it accused of targeting Twitter with multiple unfounded accusations in an attempt to hurt the company financially.
The letter cites a June CCDH report titled “Twitter Fails To Act On 99% Of Twitter Blue Accounts Tweeting Hate,” which X says was “false, misleading or both.”
“It has come to our attention that you and your organization, the Center for Countering Digital Hate … have made a series of troubling and baseless claims that appear calculated to harm Twitter generally, and its digital advertising business specifically,” reads the letter (via Paul Thacker). “CCDH regularly posts articles making inflammatory, outrageous, and false or misleading assertions about Twitter and its operations, which CCDH holds out to the general public as supported by ‘research.”
Washington State University fires Dr Reni Moon for discussing dangers of covid vax for children at US Senate fact-finding roundtable
After teaching at Washington State University (WSU) since 2017, Dr. Renata Moon was terminated in June of this year after voicing concerns about the dangers of the Covid-19 mRNA shots for children. Dr. Moon was invited to a U.S. Senate fact-finding subcommittee in December of 2022 to provide testimony on what she was seeing in patients. The decision not to renew her annual contract, as revealed in recent court documents, was made despite her unblemished 25-year career as a board-certified Pediatrician.
Court documents filed in Benton County Superior Court by the Silent Majority Foundation (SMF) on July 12th (the Complaint) and on July 13th (plaintiff Declarations) reveal that WSU threatened to report Dr. Renata Moon to the Washington Medical Commission (WMC) because of testimony requested by the Senate subcommittee roundtable headed by Sen. Ron Johnson (WI-R), and even though her comments to the subcommittee were delivered as a private individual on her own time. WSU sent a letter on June 29th of this year announcing their decision not to renew her employment as an Associate Clinical Professor. The complaint is posted on the SMF blog.
Dr. Moon has board certification in Pediatrics and Pediatric Hospital Medicine from the American Board of Pediatrics, is licensed in many states, and has practiced as a pediatrician for over twenty-five years. Her Declaration states “I have never had any action(s) against any state medical license. I have never been named as a defendant in any medical malpractice lawsuit.”

250 Hollywood Celebrities Sign Letter Demanding Big Tech Censor Anyone Who Opposes Trans Surgeries On Kids
Some 250 woke Hollywood celebrities from movies, TV and music have signed their names to an open letter urging big tech companies to crack down on anyone who doesn’t fall into line with the trans agenda, including advocating life changing gender surgeries on children.
The letter was sent to the CEOs of Meta, YouTube, TikTok and Twitter by GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) and the Human Rights Campaign (HRC), and was signed by hundreds of famous names including Amy Schumer, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato, Jamie Lee Curtis, Judd Apatow, Patrick Stewart and many more.
It states that “There has been a massive systemic failure to prohibit hate, harassment, and malicious anti-LGBTQ disinformation on your platforms and it must be addressed,” pointing to “dangerous posts (both content and ads)… targeting transgender, nonbinary, and gender non-conforming people.”

Twitter has agreed to comply with tough new EU laws on fake news, Russian propaganda and online crime after a team of officials from the European Commission entered its headquarters to stress test its capacity to operate legally in Europe.
The move came just weeks after Elon Musk, Twitter’s owner, quit the bloc’s voluntary code of practice on disinformation.
In the first exercise of its kind, EU officials were allowed into the company’s headquarters on Thursday to carry out a mock exercise with Twitter staff to test its controls on Russian propaganda, fake news and criminal activity including child sexual exploitation.

In a new interview, Obama suggested the development of new technology to track and identify people online to combat “disinformation.”
He argues that such a move would help to remove “misleading” news from the Internet and provide consumers with only “true” information.

Mayo Clinic Retaliates Against Professor Who Strayed From ‘Prescribed Messaging’ On COVID, Trans Athletes
The Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and Science (MCCMS) banned Dr. Michael Joyner, an anesthesiology professor, from speaking with journalists without the institution’s approval and denied his annual raise after he made public comments on COVID-19 and gender that strayed from the institution’s “prescribed messaging,” according to a letter from the Mayo Clinic published by the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE).
Joyner discussed the physiological advantages male athletes have over females in The New York Times in May 2022 and criticized the National Institutes of Health (NIH) for discouraging convalescent blood plasma treatments for COVID-19 in January 2023. The Mayo Clinic referenced both of these interviews in its March 5 letter to Joyner forbidding him from “offline conversations with reporters” and requiring him to get institutional approval for all future media appearances.
