The cybersecurity firm behind the software update that crashed millions of computers globally has been hit with a complaint over sidelining its white, male employees under a diversity-hiring scheme.
A conservative legal action group alleges that CrowdStrike favors women and minorities for jobs and promotions in coding, programming and other areas through diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) policies.
AFL lawyer Dan Epstein said there was plenty of evidence that the $3-billion-a-year firm, which is headquartered in Austin, Texas, used ‘race as a basis for advancement in employment.’
Public statements by CrowdStrike executives showcase ‘values in favor of racial discrimination over the true diversity of thought and opinion’ and indicated ‘unlawful activity’ by the firm, Epstein added.

Over three dozen agents from the U.S. Secret Service have called for an urgent congressional investigation into Joe Biden’s Marxist diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, Tampa Press reported.
These policies are undermining the agency’s effectiveness and posing a potential threat to national security, according to a petition that surfaced last week.
The petition, endorsed by at least 39 agents, was highlighted by Bloomberg White House correspondent Jennifer Jacobs on social media. It specifically calls out the administration’s DEI policies, suggesting they may be responsible for a string of incidents that reveal a concerning drop in operational readiness and possible bias in disciplinary practices.
“There’s a petition circulating inside the US Secret Service that flags concerns about “a number of recent Secret Service incidents indicative of inadequate training,” a double standard in disciplinary actions, and a vulnerability “to potential insider threats” that could pose a risk to US nat sec. It was first shared Monday, I’m told, and has 39 signatures so far. Aim is to call for a congressional investigation, petition says,” Jacobs wrote.

Firearm Industry Threatens Exodus Over Proposed Maine Bill Allowing Lawsuits Against Manufacturers
Smith and Wesson has threatened to shutter its 44,000-square-foot Houlton facility if a Democratic gun control bill under consideration in Augusta becomes law.
The proposed bill passed this week by in the House of Representatives.
It would allow firearms manufacturers to be sued civilly over damages tied to the illegal sale or marketing of their products, a risk that could drive manufacturers out of the state, according to a Friday letter from the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF), a national firearms industry trade association.
The bill, LD 1696, sponsored by Cape Elizabeth Democratic Rep. Rebecca Millett, would allow a civil cause of action to be brought against firearm industry members who “knowingly” sell or market a firearm-related product in a manner that promotes illegal modification, is targeted towards persons prohibited from possessing a firearm, or in a manner that is “unconscionable or deceptive.”

Maine’s DEI Commission is struggling to adopt an anti-corruption policy, in part, because the goal of the commission is to transfer taxpayer money to their friends and allies
A commission dedicated to advancing far left ideology within Maine’s state government is having trouble coming up with an anti-corruption policy.
The chief reason?
The commission is comprised almost of exclusively of employees of nonprofit organizations that seek taxpayer-funded grants from the commission for themselves and their allies.
Maine’s so-called “Permanent Commission on the Status of Racial, Indigenous & Tribal Populations (PCRITP)” — the brainchild of House Speaker Rachel Talbot Ross (D-Portland) — was originally intended to rename rivers, creeks, and mountains in Maine that still had offensive names.
Rather than quickly accomplish that simple task, the organization has morphed into a make-work program for left wing activists and a conduit through which taxpayer dollars can flow into organizations aligned with progressive advocacy groups.
