Last October, China’s top officials convened the once-every-five-year congress of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) to determine the leadership and political trajectory of the country for the next half decade. Xi Jinping secured a precedent-breaking third term as paramount leader of the Party, confirming expectations that the congress would cement his authority and concentrate power in a single person to a degree not seen since the Mao era. Several high-profile promotions and demotionssignaled that officials’ political survival depends on personal loyalty to Xi, and that aggressive implementation of his policies is key to career advancement. Among the officials garnering Xi’s support is Pan Yue, who was elected as a full member of the Central Committee of the CCP.
Since last June, Pan has been head of the State Council’s Ethnic Affairs Commission, which is responsible for policy concerning China’s “minority nationalities,” the 55 officially recognized ethnic groups who collectively represent around 8.9 percent of the total population. For decades, the CCP’s ethnic policies have oscillated between multiculturalism—recognizing and even celebrating distinct ethnic identities—and assimilationism—denying and destroying them—with significant variation at the local level. The Chinese term “minzu” (民族) captures this policy range: it refers both to individual “nationalities” or ethnic groups, like Han, Uyghurs, and Tibetans, and to the overarching “Chinese nation” (zhonghua minzu, 中华民族), which comprises all 56 (55 minorities plus the Han majority) groups.
Pan’s election to the Central Committee suggests that the Xi administration’s hard turn toward assimilationism will likely continue and perhaps intensify. Pan is the second Han official in a row to head the Ethnic Affairs Commission, which for nearly 70 years had been led by a Party member from a non-Han nationality. Since the beginning of Xi’s second term in 2017, measures related to “managing” ethnic minorities have run the gamut from destruction of what officials deem “foreign” architectural elements such as mosque domes and removal of Arabic signage on restaurant awnings and storefronts to the imposition of Mandarin as the sole language of instruction for certain subjects in some schools. Repression has been most severe in Tibet and Xinjiang, where the local populations have been subjected to extreme restrictions on movement, constant surveillance, mass internment, and as has been reported of Uyghur women, forced sterilization.
‘There is clearly only one way to think in this district’
What is happening is the school has established sacred psycholinguistic categories, sacred categories of thought, feeling, and speech. This is the same as establishing a religion, a violation of the First Amendment. ABN
On February 16, President Joe Biden issued an executive order titled “Further Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities Through The Federal Government”. The order is supposed to level the racial playing field by “addressing systemic racism in our Nation’s policies and programs”, but it does nothing of the kind. In truth, the order represents a massive and disturbing restructuring of the federal government in a way that fundamentally changes the manner in which the agencies operate. The new system will feature “equity” commissars who will have nothing to do with “systemic racism”, but will be appointees designated to enforce the edicts of the state. The senior agency official (in these agency equity teams) will then coordinate with the “Gender Policy Council” which is directly linked to the executive branch of government. In short, the administration is methodically building the basic scaffolding for a centrally-controlled police state masquerading as social justice operation. For all intents and purposes, the equity agenda is a cleverly-phrased moniker that conceals a plan to exert absolute control over the entire sprawling bureaucracy.
NEW YORK, N.Y., Dec. 1, 2022 — Today, the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression sued New York Attorney General Letitia James, challenging a new state law that forces websites and apps to address online speech that someone, somewhere finds humiliating or vilifying.
The law is titled “Social media networks; hateful conduct prohibited,” but it actually targets speech the state doesn’t like — even if that speech is fully protected by the First Amendment.
She’s setting up the mechanisms to overthrow Viktor Orban—“Pro-democracy Non-Government Organizations” which are actually CIA contractors to recruit agents provocateurs.
Soon there’ll be riots in Budapest. You watch—they always do the same thing. https://t.co/qAWwTAS2dP
The Digital Government Minister of Newfoundland and Labrador, Sarah Stoodley, has come forward to declare the mandatory vaccine passports a success, stating that their province will be building on that success to roll out a digital ID pilot project in 2023, with the support of the federal government. Although many have warned that digital IDs pose an extreme risk to personal privacy, Stoodley contradicts them, describing it as a “huge opportunity to protect the privacy of Canadians.” She adds that digital IDs will help “reduce fraud,” noting that her province will be the “leaders in this space in Canada.”
This is not an isolated concern for Canadians. In addition to Newfoundland and the federal government pushing digital IDs in Canada, Ontario, Saskatchewan, British Columbia, and New Brunswick have all taken steps in the same direction and are all listed on the Digital ID and Authentication Council of Canada (DIACC) as members. (Saskatchewan has since temporarily paused their program thanks to the voices of outrage from their citizens). Thankfully, as with many of the public, the other provincial politicians are questioning who is really behind these initiatives.
The CDC recently codified International Classification of Disease (ICD) codes for Covid-19 vaccine status. ICD codes are extensively used in medical records, medical insurance data and health research to classify precisely disease states as well as injuries from exogenous agents such as accidents, medication and medical device injuries, toxic chemicals, etc. Vaccination status is not a disease or an injury state, yet CDC has rationalized creating ICD codes for it. The coding is set to become effective on April 1, 2023.
The office of New York Attorney General Letitia James released footage on Tuesday of the deposition of former President Donald Trump. The video was intended to create a narrative as President Trump repeatedly invoked privileges under the fifth amendment against self-incrimination. However, if you watch the introductory part of the deposition, to include the statements from the office of the AG, you get a real sense of how this witch hunt is being conducted.
President Trump’s deposition took place on August 10, 2022. The issue is AG James using the process of a civil fraud investigation to construct a criminal case against Donald J Trump. Unfortunately for Ms. James you do not have to be a lawyer to see the “set up” nature of the lawfare as it is being conducted. Just listen to the qualifiers put into place by the Attorney General office.
Pay close attention to the preliminary procedural explanations and questions from state Attorney General Letitia James. That is the set up, technically and legally explained by the New York AG herself. Once you see that part, you realize no one in their right mind would answer any questions from this “investigative inquiry”. After a few minutes, President Trump -together with his lawyer- reads a statement, then repeatedly takes the Fifth Amendment. WATCH:
.
If people actually watch this deposition, not just listen to pundits outline it, this video will backfire against the New York AG.
All countries remain ‘dangerously unprepared’ for the next pandemic, the Red Cross warned today, saying future health crises could also collide with increasingly likely climate-related disasters.
Despite three ‘brutal’ years of the Covid-19 pandemic, strong preparedness systems are ‘severely lacking’, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) said.
The world’s largest humanitarian network said building trust, equity and local action networks were vital to get ready for the next crisis.
Here we go again. This is clearly part of the coverup and also preprogramming for the next bio-attack. It is also clearly an excuse to extract more money and power while keeping the public in a state of fear. Notice the casual use of ‘next pandemic’ because of course there’ll be one. ABN
