Sun, who served under Gov. Kathy Hochul and her predecessor Andrew Cuomo — with a salary that never exceeded $145,000 per year during a decade-plus stint in Albany — could only afford the luxuries by cashing in on her lofty position to advance China’s agenda, federal prosecutors allege.
Photos of the spoils from the purportedly crooked plot made public on Tuesday were shown to jurors in Brooklyn federal court during Sun’s ongoing bombshell corruption trial.
The jury got a glimpse of the loot, including a snazzy brown Hermes Birkin bag seized from Sun’s walk-in closet in the $3.6 million Manhasset manse, and a Patek Philippe watch with a receipt showing it was bought by Sun’s husband and now co-defendant Chris Hu.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement has launched an initiative with state and local law enforcement partners to find roughly 450,000 “unaccompanied alien children” who were illegally smuggled into the U.S. during the Biden administration and placed with unvetted sponsors.
The new UAC Safety Verification Initiative is focused on protecting children from sexual abuse and exploitation through a broader collaboration among so-called 287(g) partners.
“The primary focus of this initiative is to conduct welfare checks on these children to ensure that they are safe and not being exploited,” the Department of Homeland Security said.

My feeling is that now it is “safe” to release the info that Epstein was really a sex trafficker as a side gig and was mainly an intelligence asset of Israel and the US, a big-time financial criminal on behalf of transnational capital (i would argue transnational organized crime disguised as transnational capital), and an arms trader because the people he was helping have stolen so much of America’s wealth and have taken control over so much of the government.
That is why even admitting the true breadth of the scandal and operation doesn’t even seem to move the needle. Criminals are in charge and they run both parties, they have created the infrastructure for neo-feudalism enforced by technology and are herding us into the corral.
