How the West Was Defeated
Emmanuel Todd, historian, demographer, anthropologist, sociologist and political analyst, is part of a dying breed: one of the very few remaining exponents of old school French intelligentzia – a heir to those like Braudel, Sartre, Deleuze and Foucault who dazzled successive young Cold War generations from the West down to the East.
The first nugget concerning his latest book, La Défaite de L’Occident (“The Defeat of the West”) is the minor miracle of actually being published last week in France, right within the NATO sphere: a hand grenade of a book, by an independent thinker, based on facts and verified data, blowing up the whole Russophobia edifice erected around the “aggression” by “Tsar” Putin.
At least some sectors of strictly oligarch-controlled corporate media in France simply could not ignore Todd this time around for several reasons. Most of all because he was the first Western intellectual, already in 1976, to have predicted the fall of the USSR in his book La Chute Finale, with his research based on Soviet infant mortality rates.

Good essay and probably good book but how do these guys not know that the West has been infested with parasites, conquered by them, and thus cannot but suffer defeat? ‘Intellectual’ reasons for defeat are little more than the trail of slime left behind by the parasites who are eating us alive. The defeat of the West can only be understood on a much longer timeline of over 100 years. Infestation and parasitic proliferation require decades to slay and digest such a large beast as the West. Demise on that scale has been brought about by military-grade, deliberate, premeditated, organized, violent, ruthless and relentless asymmetric and clandestine warfare and not a bunch of ideas. Come on guys, every single institution in the West has been taken over by this process, which has been violent. It’s as obvious as the nose on your face.
I am not talking about Escobar or Todd, but generally it is true that Western intellectuals who have survived the parasitic purges, who have survived the decades of violence, are uniquely immune to understanding what has happened because they have benefitted from it. They owe their status to their natural rivals who were more realistic having been taken out along the way, having been destroyed. Just as the West is an empty shell of its former self, so our ‘intellectuals’ for decades have been seated in an empty room, lecturing to a vacant audience. The best of them were destroyed. ABN

Israel Shahak and the Middle East
About a decade ago, I happened to be talking with an eminent academic scholar who had become known for his sharp criticism of Israeli policies in the Middle East and America’s strong support for them. I mentioned that I myself had come to very similar conclusions some time before, and he asked when that had happened. I told him it had been in 1982, and I think he found my answer quite surprising. I got the sense that date was decades earlier than would have been given by almost anyone else he knew.
Sometimes it is quite difficult to pinpoint when one’s world view on a contentious topic undergoes sharp transformation, but at other times it is quite easy. My own perceptions of the Middle East conflict drastically shifted during Fall 1982, and they have subsequently changed only to a far smaller extent. As some might remember, that period marked the first Israeli invasion of Lebanon, and culminated in the notorious Sabra-Shatila Massacre during which hundreds or even thousands of Palestinians were slaughtered in their refugee camps. But although those events were certainly major factors in my ideological realignment, the crucial trigger was actually a certain letter to the editor published around that same time.
A few years earlier, I had discovered The London Economist, as it was then called, and it had quickly become my favorite publication, which I religiously devoured cover-to-cover every week. And as I read the various articles about the Middle East conflict in that publication, or others such as the New York Times, the journalists occasionally included quotes from some particularly fanatic and irrational Israeli Communist named Israel Shahak, whose views seemed totally at odds with those of everyone else, and who was consequently treated as a fringe figure. Opinions that seem totally divorced from reality tend to stick in one’s mind, and it took only one or two appearances from that apparently die-hard and delusional Stalinist for me to guess that he would always take an entirely contrary position on every given issue.
In 1982 Israel Defense Minister Ariel Sharon launched his massive invasion of Lebanon using the pretext of the wounding of an Israeli diplomat in Europe at the hands of a Palestinian attacker, and the extreme nature of his action was widely condemned in the media outlets I read at the time. His motive was obviously to root out the PLO’s political and military infrastructure, which had taken hold in many of Lebanon’s large Palestinian refugee camps. But back in those days invasions of Middle Eastern countries on dubious prospects were much less common than they have subsequently become, after our recent American wars killed or displaced so many millions, and most observers were horrified by the utterly disproportionate nature of his attack and the severe destruction he was inflicting upon Israel’s neighbor, which he seemed eager to reduce to puppet status. From what I recall, he made several entirely false assurances to top Reagan officials about his invasion plans, such that they afterward called him the worst sort of liar, and he ended up besieging the Lebanese capital of Beirut even though he had originally promised to limit his assault to a mere border incursion.
Given the genocide in Gaza which is ‘morally’ founded on the 10/07 Hamas raid which Israel and USA almost certainly knew was coming well in advance and allowed to happen; and given the vile sameness of yet another war in the Middle East being started by USA for Israel and no one else, this essay by Ron Unz is essential reading. Understanding the deep tenets of a culture is essential to understanding the behaviors of those who are in that culture, close to that culture, or controlled by that culture, as USA clearly is. The Child-Rape Assembly Line
…In New York, and in the prominent Orthodox communities of Israel and London, allegations of child molestation and rape have been rampant. The alleged abusers are schoolteachers, rabbis, fathers, uncles—figures of male authority. The victims, like those of Catholic priests, are mostly boys. Rabbi Rosenberg believes around half of young males in Brooklyn’s Hasidic community—the largest in the United States and one of the largest in the world—have been victims of sexual assault perpetrated by their elders. Ben Hirsch, director of Survivors for Justice, a Brooklyn organization that advocates for Orthodox sex abuse victims, thinks the real number is higher. “From anecdotal evidence, we’re looking at over 50 percent. It has almost become a rite of passage.”
Ultra-Orthodox Jews who speak out about these abuses are ruined and condemned to exile by their own community. Dr. Amy Neustein, a nonfundamentalist Orthodox Jewish sociologist and editor of Tempest in the Temple: Jewish Communities and Child Sex Scandals, told me the story of a series of Hasidic mothers in Brooklyn she got to know who complained that their children were being preyed on by their husbands.
In these cases, the accused men “very quickly and effectively engage the rabbis, the Orthodox politicians, and powerful Orthodox rabbis who donate handsomely to political clubs.” The goal, she told me, is “to excise the mother from the child’s life.” Rabbinical courts cast the mothers aside, and the effects are permanent. The mother is “amputated.” One woman befriended by Dr. Neustein, a music student at a college outside New York, lost contact with all six of her children, including an infant she was breastfeeding at the time of their separation.

Dissociation and Confabulation in Narcissistic Disorders
Abstract
Narcissists and psychopaths dissociate (erase memories) a lot (are amnesiac) because their contact with the world and with others is via a fictitious construct: The false self. Narcissists never experience reality directly but through a distorting lens darkly. They get rid of any information that challenges their grandiose self-perception and the narrative they had constructed to explicate, excuse and legitimize their antisocial, self-centred and exploitative behaviors, choices and idiosyncrasies.
In an attempt to compensate for the yawning gaps in memory, narcissists and psychopaths confabulate: They invent plausible “plug ins” and scenarios of how things might, could, or should have plausibly occurred. To outsiders, these fictional stopgaps appear as lies. But the narcissist fervently believes in their reality: He may not actually remember what had happened-but surely it could not have happened any other way!
These tenuous concocted fillers are subject to frequent revision as the narcissist’s inner world and external circumstances evolve. This is why narcissists and psychopaths often contradict themselves. Tomorrow’s confabulation often negates yesterday’s. The narcissist and psychopath do not remember their previous tales because they are not invested with the emotions and cognitions that are integral parts of real memories.

Narcissism is well-described and largely understood in Western psychology. It is a major ‘station of the mind’, a stage in the development of any civilization. It seems probable that most if not all ancient and/or traditional cultures are narcissistic and that those that have retained ancient features today are narcissistic. Virtually all religions, including Buddhism, were established at the state-level by an autocrat and forced upon the population as a means of control. Confucianism, all the Abrahamics, Hinduism and so on, all share this general background. Ashoka tailored early Buddhism to be what he wanted it to be. The cabal that controls the West today is similarly hell-bent on controlling everyone and everything. Poland Is In The Throes Of Its Worst Political Crisis Since The 1980s
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk has plunged his country into its worst political crisis since the 1980s in less than a month since returning to power. The Ordo Iuris Institute for Legal Culture concluded in a detailed report late December that his planned judicial and media “reforms” are anti-constitutional. In brief, he wants to subordinate Polish sovereignty to German-controlled European institutions exactly as the former ruling party’s chairman Jaroslaw Kaczynski repeatedly warned about last year.
…The future of Poland will be decided by the outcome of this political crisis. It’ll either continue sliding further under German suzerainty as a de facto puppet state whose people would be forced to endure the full-fledged imposition of liberal–globalist policies upon them or they’ll regain their sovereignty in order to protect their historically conservative-nationalist way of life. If the new Solidarity loses, then Polish society will be fundamentally and irreversibly transformed as a result of Tusk’s ideological mission.
He envisages Poland importing countless illegal immigrants (including civilizationally dissimilar ones that refuse to assimilate and integrate into society), removing all restrictions on abortion (possibly up until birth), and rampantly proliferating LGBT propaganda (with all the associated harm on children’s psyche). The country would never recover if this happens since Tusk is also arguably amenable to the proposed “military Schengen” that could lead to a continuous German military presence all throughout Poland.

Ron Unz on the influence of Jews on the West
If nearly all Jews for a thousand or two thousand years were taught to feel a seething hatred toward all non-Jews and also developed an enormous infrastructure of cultural dishonesty to mask that attitude, it is difficult to believe that such an unfortunate history has had absolutely no consequences for our present-day world, or that of the relatively recent past.
Furthermore, Jewish hostility toward non-Jews may often have served the interests of others, and helped determine the economic role that the group filled, especially in European countries, with this factor having been obscured by widespread ignorance of the underlying religious tenets. As most of us know from our history books, political rulers who harshly exploit their subjects sometimes restrict military power to a relatively small group of well-rewarded mercenaries, often of foreign origins so that they will have little sympathy for the population they harshly repress. I strongly suspect that some of the most common traditional economic niches of European Jews, such as tax-farming and the arrenda estate-management system of Eastern Europe, should be best understood in a similar light, with Jews being more likely to extract every last penny of value from the peasants they controlled for the benefit of their local king or lords, and their notorious antipathy for all non-Jews ensuring that such behavior was minimally tempered by any human sympathy. Thus, we should not be surprised that Jews first entered England in the train of William the Conqueror, in order to help him and his victorious Norman lords effectively exploit the subjugated Anglo-Saxon population they now ruled.
But states in which the vast majority of the population is oppressed and dominated by a thin slice of rulers and their mercenary enforcers tend to be much weaker and more brittle than those in which rulers and ruled share common interests, and I believe this is just as true for economic enforcers as for military ones. In many cases, lands reliant upon Jewish economic intermediaries, notably Poland, never successfully developed a native middle class, and often later fared quite poorly against their nationally-unified competitors.

The Jewish Question
…The Jewish Question, simply explained, consists of two enquiries: Do Jews possess an excessive influence in their host societies and, if so, what should be done about it? Most commentaries on the subject have focussed on the first question, leading the scholar John Klier to remark on one occasion that the assessment and critique of Jewish influence has throughout history been predominantly an intellectual pursuit. However, in pushing back against the taboo, even via the modest pursuit of research and the dissemination of one’s findings, one engages in activism of a sort. Indeed, one cannot expect to formulate a response to a problem if one cannot first convince others that a problem exists. The essence of the Jewish Question is therefore the argument that Jews do enjoy an excessive influence in their host societies, and that this excessive influence, for a large number of reasons, is highly problematic for those societies. These problems straddle all spheres of society — the cultural, the economic, and the political.

This question is in fact a red herring that obfuscates the real issue.
Whether or not Jews have excessive influence is actually not even a question since the answer is obviously yes. But because the answer is so obviously yes debating it drives sane gentiles crazy and delights Jews. The Jews will counter that they have worked hard to attain their influence. Even non-Jews will come to their defense and say it’s their high IQ. Jews will whine about antisemitism being at the root of people’s objection to their influence. The debate always goes nowhere. Leaving disenfranchised gentiles pulling out their hairs. In the end we’re always back to square one.
That is because the basic question is wrong.
You see the problem is not whether Jews have excessive influence. The problem is what they DO with their influence.
Jewish influence drives our nations into wars. Jewish influence floods our countries with third world “refugees.” Jewish influence brings transexuals into our elementary schools to teach our children about anal sex. Jewish influence has turned our currency into a massive debt slavery system. Jewish influence has degraded our arts and literature. Jewish influence gave us the Frankfurt School and Murder Incorporated. Should I mention 911 and the death of JFK.
But we never even get to discuss any of these issues because to do so is “antisemitic.” So we’re stuck on quibbling about whether or not they have influence.
It’s not that Jews have influence. It is what they DO with that influence that has caused problems for these last 2000 years. And that’s what we need to talk to them about.

I pretty much agree with the main thrust of this comment. No matter who is in control—and there will always be someone—they must at least do a good job. They must at least allow the people they govern to thrive. A thriving Western civilization can afford a selfish elite, even benefit from it, if they at least ensure that the society that supports them is healthy and well-run. This is not the case today and for decades in USA, Europe, Canada, Australia, New Zealand. Instead, these regions are dying due to severe parasitic infestation. Genghis Khan and his heirs once conquered the territory of modern-day China to create the largest contiguous land empire in history. Almost 800 years after his death, the Mongolian warlord is emerging as a new threat to President Xi Jinping.
On a visit last month to the Genghis Khan Mausoleum in Inner Mongolia, a Chinese region triple the size of Japan and home to four million ethnic Mongolians, a local official explained that ritual celebrations of the conqueror have been curtailed.
Some 180 miles away in the regional capital of Hohhot, the history museum has gotten rid of its “Genghis Khan and His Empire” exhibit, along with any souvenirs featuring him in the gift shop. China last year even passed a law mandating that the Chinese language must be used over Mongolian in order to “safeguard national sovereignty.”
“Our ideology has changed,” a staff member at the museum in Hohhot said. “We are emphasizing unity and not highlighting any ethnicity over another.”
Xi sees ethnic minorities in China’s peripheral regions posing just as much a risk to the Communist Party as democracy activists in Hong Kong and independence advocates in Taiwan.
