Gay Parenting? Jordan Peterson Weighs In | Doug Wilson

I found this video mildly interesting. It is a big area—among many other big areas—that modern societies need to reckon with and talk about more. A core problem in this area, as I see it, is morality and ideals are too often used as weapons to denigrate other kinds of morality and ideals. I do not believe it is impossible to sort that out but in the real world, discussions like this tend to become messy and offer few conclusions. Social (and moral) dissolution in the past has always led to order imposed by an autocrat. ABN

In Austria, the finger-pointing has begun!

In Austria, the Minister of Health acknowledges the problems with the vaccines, so he throws the Austrian docs under the bus. Why? Because denial is no longer working and you have to blame someone!

Summary

A tale of three countries:

In Austria, they’ve figured out the vaccines are dangerous, so the Health Minister is now blaming the doctors.

In New Zealand, the data clearly shows the vaccinated have higher all-cause mortality, so their solution is more vaccines and they bury the papers showing the vaccines are the problem.

In Australia, the mandates are gone and a few people are coming to realize they goofed big time.

Almost All 5,000 Gang Members In Sweden Are Either 1st- Or 2nd-Generation Migrants

The urban crime gangs dominating Swedish cities are almost exclusively made up of immigrants, according to Amir Rostami, a leading criminologist and professor who based his findings on police data.

In Sweden, the number of gang-related crimes is increasing every year, and as a result of mass and uncontrolled immigration, the authorities are losing control over more and more areas where migrant gangs are taking power.

“It is not enough for many immigrants to come to Sweden from a less developed country and enjoy the benefits. They want excitement and want to get rich quickly,” says criminologist Rostami.

Rostami has divided these gang members into two categories. Disorganized criminals are mostly made up of slightly younger members between 20 and 25 years old who have poorer impulse control, less education, and are primarily dealing with weapons and drugs. Then, there are the slightly more mature, rational, and better educated members who are involved in more extensive criminal networks; some of these members are even accountants, people with degrees, and former military personnel. This group is responsible for a huge share of crimes in Sweden, suspected of committing 40,000 criminal acts every year. These criminal networks not only compete with each other, but also work together.

Doctors & Psychotherapists: Butchers & Liars

All on its own, Woke has wandered into an existential reductio ad absurdum which demonstrates conclusively that not only gender reassignment for children but almost all of what they stand for is absurd, even cruel and grossly impractical. Though they cannot see it themselves, most of the rest of us can. Reductio ad absurdum is an argument that proves its opposite by “reducing itself to absurdity.” Woke has lived that argument long enough that we may be at a major turning point where everything about their shitty ideas goes poof all at once. More of this, please. Much more of this. Diversity of thought and the freedom to speak our minds is our American cultural and legal heritage. There is no better way to run a society. We should all be proud of our heritage and strive to fully understand the value of it. Also, enjoy it! It is wonderful to be open-minded and unabashedly converse with others who are similarly not afraid to speak their minds. ABN

College: “Here are 5 observations I made this past year that may shock you”

I just finished my freshman year at an elite university that costs $80,000 annually (University of Chicago).

The students at a school like this are future politicians, billionaires, etc.

Here are 5 observations I made this past year about them that may shock you:

1.) A staggeringly high number of them are LGBT+. I’m talking 20% to 30%.

Don’t believe me? At Yale, 23% of freshmen identify as LGBT+.

[The comments at the end of the link below are not comforting. This type is favored in schools and businesses widely. ABN]

Plato and The Big Picture: Robert Malone

“…one thing that we have become acutely and very personally aware of is that there seems to be a movement in modern society to avoid information, theories or opinions which trigger cognitive dissonance and the associated psychological pain.  Often associated with terms such as “cancel culture”, “virtue signaling” and “woke-ism”, this movement appears to have manifested as a belief system which holds that the individuals as well as the collective body politic have a fundamental right to intellectual protection, to not encounter unpleasant thoughts, information or ideas which are inconsistent with their internal model of reality. These are the intellectual roots which nurture censorship, denialism, and the weaponized gaslighting, defamation and slander, as well as the idea that anything which causes individuals to lose faith in their government constitutes domestic terrorism and should be treated as such.  There is a long and rich human history of punishment by death for such dissident thoughtcrimes. I suggest that these behaviors and actions are among the ugliest manifestations of the tribal human tendency to reject those who are willing to speak inconvenient truths, and that this tendency has always been a dark reactionary aspect of the processes by which scientific and medical knowledge advance.”

Pfizer Tells Federal Judge that Pfizer Owns the Federal Government and Is thereby Immune to Normal Contract Law

Pfizer affirms that its agreement with Washington under “Other Transaction Authority” permits Pfizer to violate clinical trial regulations and federal laws protecting the public.

In other words, Pfizer has legal authority to commit fraud that kills people.

As I have explained on many occasions, the US government is privatized. It is run by private interests whose representatives are found on the SEC, FDA, EPA, Federal Reserve,  and all other regulatory agencies.  As George Stigler made clear 60 years ago, the US regulatory agencies are captured by the industries they are supposed to regulate.  The power of private interests also comes from the fact that private interests are the financers of political campaigns.  Every elected official—House, Senate, President—and every state and local official knows he/she is in office because of the campaign contributions.  This means that elected officials are responsible to their donors, not to the voters.  The power of private interests was reinforced by the US Supreme Court decision that gave essentially unlimited ability to corporations to purchase government to serve their interests.
