WASHINGTON — President-elect Donald Trump has selected former New York GOP Rep. Lee Zeldin to serve as administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, The Post can exclusively report.
Zeldin, 44, served four terms as a Republican congressman repping eastern Long Island before losing the 2022 New York governor’s race to Democrat Kathy Hochul by a surprisingly close margin — and will become a key figure in adopting Trump’s deregulatory and pro-energy production policies.
“I am deeply honored to have been asked by President Trump to serve in his Cabinet. As EPA Administrator, we will restore American energy dominance, revitalize our auto industry to bring back American jobs, make the United States the global leader of Artificial Intelligence advancement, and slash the red tape holding back American workers from upward economic mobility,” Zeldin said in a statement to The Post.
Donald Trump is considering tapping North Dakota’s Doug Burgum to be his new “energy tsar”, which would give the oil state’s governor sweeping power to slash environmental regulations and boost US fossil fuels output.
Burgum, a billionaire businessman who ran in the Republican primary race this year before endorsing Trump, is the president-elect’s preferred candidate for the role, said people familiar with the discussions. Former energy secretary Dan Brouillette is also a contender.
Trump is weighing the reappointment of officials from his first term to senior energy roles as he looks to battle-hardened veterans to overhaul rules on everything from vehicle emissions to oil and gas leasing.
The new energy tsar role and its powers are not yet finalised, but people familiar with the plans said it would co-ordinate Trump’s deregulatory agenda across a patchwork of agencies including the Department of Energy, Department of Interior, Federal Energy Regulatory Commission, and Environmental Protection Agency.
The president-elect has vowed to gut at least 10 regulations across the federal government for every new one created and said he would appoint Tesla chief executive Elon Musk to helm a new efficiency commission “tasked with conducting a complete financial and performance audit of the entire federal government and making recommendations for drastic reforms”.
Rules governing climate and energy are set to bear the brunt of the regulatory bonfire.
Trump has railed against the EPA’s car emissions rules, calling them “the insane electric vehicle mandate”, and is also likely to remove curbs on oil and gas drilling on federal lands.
Earlier this evening, the day after Donald Trump was elected president of the United States (again), news broke that Joel Salatin has been offered a position by the Trump team within the USDA, and he has accepted.
“I’ve been contacted by the Trump transition team to hold some sort of position within the USDA and have accepted one of the six “Advisor to the Secretary” spots. My favorite congressman, Thomas Massie from Kentucky, has agreed to go in as Secretary of Agriculture.” –The Lunatic Farmer
For those who don’t know, Joel Salatin is a regenerative organic farmer. We interviewed him several years ago, while the article is quite old you can read it here if you’re interested.
Joel Salatin has made many appearances on the Joe Rogan podcast and written several books on his experience in regenerative agriculture. It is my belief that the Trump administration offering him this position was an excellent move towards the promised “Make America Healthy Again” campaign that Trump and Kennedy ran on.
This is hypothesized to be the cause of massive global flooding in the past and future caused by the earth’s rotational axis shifting from its current magnetic N-S alignment to a gyroscopic alignment based on planetary irregularities of mass placement. ABN
More from The Ethical Skeptic:
We propose that periodically, the Earth’s core loses its magnetic moment and decouples from the outer rotational body (ORB), which includes the mantle and crust. This decoupling causes a shift in the Earth’s geographic axis of rotation along the 31st East meridian (the same meridian upon which is located both the Giza Plateau as well as the geographic center of the Earth), moving towards South Africa. At this critical transition point the Earth’s inertial moment takes precedent over its magnetic moment causing this change in geographic location of its rotational axis. The process is facilitated by the lubricating effect of exothermic H-layer material shed from the core. These effects enable the Earth’s outer rotational body to shift from today’s geomagnetic mechanical equilibrium, to a 104-degree rotated momentum-conserving gyroscopic one. This cyclical and violent process is consistent with, and may be the impetus behind, the 175 world flood myths—constituting a message important enough to be reflected in the inner design (and at one time, function) of the Khufu Pyramid itself. After a period of time and reversal in this Earth core condition the Earth rotates back to its magnetic moment priority where it spends the majority of its cycle.
Over 75% of people over that age of 25 have a significantly calcified pineal gland.
In a 2001 study on fluoride distribution, pineal gland fluoride levels were measured in aged cadavers. Researchers found that:
“There was a positive correlation between pineal F[luoride] and pineal Ca[lcium] (r = 0.73, p<0.02) but no correlation between pineal F and bone F. By old age, the pineal gland has readily accumulated F and its F/Ca ratio is higher than bone.”[3]
They concluded that over time through regular fluorideexposure, “the pineal accumulates fluoride and that this accumulation may be implicated in the pathogenesis of pineal calcification. Given the essential role of the pineal gland and melatonin in regulating wake/sleep patterns, creativity, calmness and spiritual health, these findings have profound implications”
The pineal gland is an endocrine gland whose main function is the biosynthesis and secretion of melatonin, a hormone responsible for regulating circadian rhythms, e.g., the sleep/wake cycle. Due to its exceptionally high vascularization and its location outside the blood–brain barrier, the pineal gland may accumulate significant amounts of calcium and fluoride, making it the most fluoride-saturated organ of the human body. Both the calcification and accumulation of fluoride may result in melatonin deficiency.
