The White House is planning to axe thousands jobs at the CIA and other intelligence agencies, officials told members of Congress per The Washington Post.
A person familiar with the plan but not authorized to discuss it publicly also confirmed the changes to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity.
The administration plans to reduce the CIA workforce by 1,200 over several years, and cut thousands of positions at the National Security Agency and other intelligence agencies.
The Post reported that the reductions at the CIA include several hundred people who have already opted for early retirement.
The rest of the cuts would be achieved partly through reduced hiring and would not likely necessitate layoffs.
‘These moves are part of a holistic strategy to infuse the Agency with renewed energy, provide opportunities for rising leaders to emerge, and better position CIA to deliver on its mission,’ the agency wrote in the statement.
This is going to be interesting. Does Trump have the courage and power to dismantle the Deep State, which most of us believe is centered in or behind or around the CIA and NSA? USA-229 is a pair of Naval Ocean Surveillance Satellites (NOSS) in control of the US Navy. Their systems are classified but their purpose is to track boats and airplanes.
The satellites were launched in 2011. BAE Systems was awarded a $50 million contract in 2010 to develop Argus-IR. Testing was spring 2012 consistent with the satellite launch having the Argus payload.
“ARGUS-IR further expands military capability by providing 24-hour, day-night reconnaissance and surveillance capabilities over a much wider area than previously possible,” said Dr. John Antoniades
“ARGUS-IR will provide at least 130 independently steerable video streams to enable real-time tracking of individual targets throughout the field of view.”

I have posted much of Ashton’s research and have found it credible enough to keep doing that. There has been a lull in new information for many months. Now this. The ‘bubble’ is the blocked satellite imaging of the Flight MH370, which supposedly was lost in flight and never found. It takes many years to reach this conclusion. I have a somewhat similar background. In the early 2000s, I naively assumed the US intelligence community already knew what Jack is saying about China. Based on that, I figured our politicians and business leaders had been briefed; that they knew the score. The truth was, it took the US government and Western elite longer to figure this out than many Western individuals who had actually lived in China and learned the language. I am not blaming anyone, just pointing out that elites in the West and probably everywhere are no smarter or insightful than ordinary people. Indeed, as a group, elites often behave stupidly. They are held together by psycholinguistic codes and mutual dependency, so they all tend to think alike or form factions that do. Their deep misunderstanding of China can be seen in many other areas — their failure to form an alliance with Russia after the fall of the SU, the Ukraine War, mass third-world immigration, the covid psyop mingled with the incongruous fantasy that deep down all people are the same and all of them will treat you well if you treat them well, and so on. Intel services would do much better if they listened to were led by people who have had real-life ordinary experience in whatever area they want to understand. Weldon is calling for a presidential inquiry and wants to hear ‘the thousands of architects and engineers who are risking their careers by questioning 9/11’ speak publicly before the inquiry, along with firemen, police, former intelligence officials, and others. He says the official story and the 9/11 Commission Report are total ‘garbage’, as most of us already know. Carlson is alert, aware, sympathetic and apologizes profusely for his nasty 9/11 errors in the past (which were very bad and caused me to despise him for many years). Sandy Berger, Phillip Zelikow, and other Jewish Supremists feature in Weldon’s evidence that dark forces within the CIA did 9/11, not Muslim terrorists; but he never goes so far as to implicate Israel in aiding and abetting the attack if not planning and orchestrating it. I agree with Weldon that this is a perfect time to reopen the investigation. To my knowledge, no earth-shattering revelations or damning evidence has emerged from the 64,000 documents made public since March 18th on the assassination of John Kennedy. Nevertheless, the theory of Israeli guilt is reinforced by clarifications on James Jesus Angleton’s proximity to the Mossad. And the word is spreading on the social networks.
As shown here, the word Israel, which was blacked out from a previously declassified document, is now cleared on the new version. This indicates that, while the CIA had wanted to conceal the link between Angleton and Israel, the link is now so well known that the redaction of the word Israel has become ridiculously counterproductive. Similarly, on another document mentioning that Angleton “run several intelligence projects, many of them with [the Israeli Intelligence Service]”, the words in brackets have also been un-redacted, as pointed out on the Wikileaks X account, followed by 5.8 million subscribers.
A newly declassified page shown here cites CIA director (DCI) John McCone about the secret diplomatic crisis between the White House and the Jewish state over the latter’s determination to build nuclear bombs. Noting that the Israelis are “withholding information on the extent of its nuclear activities”, and “refuse to submit to international safeguards prescribed by the International Atomic Energy Agency”, McCone feared that the Israeli project would “trigger grave trouble in the Middle East”, and recommended to President Kennedy, as he had to his predecessor Eisenhower (as chairman of the U.S. Atomic Energy Commission), to impose economic sanctions against Israel. It must be remembered that McCone had been placed at the head of the CIA by Kennedy precisely because of his good knowledge of and opposition to the Israeli Dimona project.
This reminds us that incriminating “the CIA” in general terms for the Kennedy assassination makes little sense, since its director was certainly innocent. What needs to be done is to identify the CIA agents who may have been involved without their director’s knowledge. The name on which all suspicions focus since the 1970s is that of James Jesus Angleton, head of Counterintelligence. The CIA trail leads straight to the threshold of his office. However, since the publication in 2017 of his biography by Jefferson Morley (The Ghost), we know that his office led to the Mossad through a back door. Thus, through Angleton, the trail of the CIA leads straight to the Mossad, just like through Jack Ruby (Jacob Rubenstein), the trail of the “mafia” leads straight to the Irgun. Sam Parker summarizes well here the main acts of treason of Angleton in favor of Israel.
…Angleton has now been exposed as a traitor to his own country for bringing Israeli spies into the CIA, including into the monitoring of Oswald. This is of equal significance to LBJ being exposed as a traitor to his own country by allowing Israel to try to sink the USS Liberty and get away with it.
China-based manufacturer Unitree Robotics pre-installed an apparent backdoor on its popular Go1 robot dogs that allowed anyone to surveil customers around the world, according to findings from two security researchers.
Why it matters: Clear evidence of a backdoor in widely sold consumer technology is rare, and it affirms longstanding concerns from U.S. officials that Chinese-made devices could quietly enable foreign surveillance.
