American sheriffs group that challenges federal law is gaining acceptance around the country
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) — Against the background hum of the convention center, Dar Leaf settled into a club chair to explain the sacred mission of America’s sheriffs, his bright blue eyes and warm smile belying the intensity of the cause.
“The sheriff is supposed to be protecting the public from evil,” the chief law enforcement officer for Barry County, Michigan, said during a break in the National Sheriffs’ Association 2023 conference in June. “When your government is evil or out of line, that’s what the sheriff is there for, protecting them from that.”
Leaf is on the advisory board of the Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association, founded in 2011 by former Arizona sheriff Richard Mack. The group, known as CSPOA, teaches that elected sheriffs must “protect their citizens from the overreach of an out-of-control federal government” by refusing to enforce any law they deem unconstitutional or “unjust.”
…The sheriffs group has railed against gun control laws, COVID-19 mask mandates and public health restrictions, as well as alleged election fraud. It has also quietly spread its ideology across the country, seeking to become more mainstream in part by securing state approval for taxpayer-funded law enforcement training, the Howard Center for Investigative Journalism found.
Over the last five years, the group has hosted trainings, rallies, speeches and meetings in at least 30 states for law enforcement officers, political figures, private organizations and members of the public, according to the Howard Center’s seven-month probe, conducted in collaboration with the Arizona Center for Investigative Reporting.

Two of the greatest tools that humanity has developed (telecommunications and the scientific method) are now being manipulated to suppress “inconvenient” data and shape a narrative that does not serve our quest for objective fact finding and truth. Anonymous targeting of high-impact studies to produce retractions is censorship – and is a backdoor method by publishers to control information and provide a veneer of legitimacy to their actions.
Integrity, transparency and self-correction are at the heart of ethical and moral publishing (in all forms), but it is vital and central to science, medicine and engineering publications. If we let one type of censorship blossom in our publication system without calling out the perpetrators, we are allowing for the wholesale control and debasement of a critical tool that provides objective facts to a wider community. Ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, chlorine dioxide, vaccine-injury and many other studies have been blocked, censored, or retracted via non-transparent and questionable methods in journals.
Federal Court rules chronic pot use doesn’t cancel gun rights
The court, in an appeal in the case of Patrick Darnell Daniels of Gulfport, Mississippi, found unconstitutional the 1968 law that bars an individual from lawful firearm possession if they are an “unlawful user of or addicted to any controlled substance.”
Daniels, who was arrested by local police and a DEA agent in April 2022 after a traffic stop for a missing license plate found marijuana cigarette butts in the ashtray and two loaded firearms, was charged in a federal district court on the “unlawful user” statute and given nearly four years in prison in addition to having his Second Amendment rights stripped away for life. While Daniels had admitted to smoking marijuana since high school and consumed the “Devil’s Lettuce” about 14 times a month, he was not otherwise a lawbreaker.
The thing is, held the appeals court panel, the 1968 law, as viewed through the lens of the Bruen ruling from the U.S. Supreme Court, doesn’t square with the historical right to bear arms and tossed the conviction.
“In short, our history and tradition may support some limits on an intoxicated person’s right to carry a weapon, but it does not justify disarming a sober citizen based exclusively on his past drug usage,” said U.S. Chief Judge Jerry Edwin Smith, a 1987 Reagan appointee, in the court’s opinion. “Nor do more generalized traditions of disarming dangerous persons support this restriction on nonviolent drug users. As applied to Daniels, then, § 922(g)(3) violates the Second Amendment. We reverse the judgment of conviction and render a dismissal of the indictment.”

Massachusetts State Troopers win lawsuit over denial of religious exemption for covid vax mandate
The 7 Massachusetts State Troopers will be reinstated and receive back pay
Seven Massachusetts State Troopers, who were previously suspended due to a COVID-19 vaccine mandate, have prevailed in a legal battle with the Massachusetts’ government and will be reinstated to their jobs, according to the State Police union in Massachusetts.
The news release from The State Police Association of Massachusetts, an independent arbitrator found that the state police violated the troopers’ rights to anti-discrimination and affirmative action.
The association said that now-former Massachusetts’ Governor Charlie Baker and Department of the State Police did not give troopers “reasonable accommodations to their sincerely held religious beliefs.”
The news follows a long fought legal battle with the Massachusetts’ government after Baker signed an executive order requiring all executive branch employees to provide proof of vaccination by October 2021 or face disciplinary action, including possible termination.
Eleven Massachusetts State Troopers and one sergeant were fired in April 2022 over their refusal to get vaccinated.
Food Service Giant Sued Over ‘White-Men-Need-Not-Apply’ Program
A former employee of a large food service corporation is suing the company in federal court after it fired her for refusing to participate in a program that discriminates against white male employees.
…participation in the program was restricted to “women and people of color.” White men were not allowed to participate and receive the associated benefits of training, mentorship, and guaranteed promotion.
By calling it “Operation Equity,” the company “used a euphemistic and false title to hide the program’s true nature.” The program would more accurately be called the “White-Men-Need-Not-Apply” program because it is an example of “‘outright racial balancing,’ which is patently unlawful,” and is the kind of program “promoted by people … who harbor racial animus against white men,” according to the legal complaint.
Ms. Rogers claims she informed management that high-level employees said of the program, “This is the direction the world is going, jump on the train or get run over,” and “We are not here to appease the old white man.”
Ms. Rogers claims she also informed management that the program was illegal and requested that she be allowed an accommodation because the program “violated her ethical beliefs.” Management assured her she would be exempted from participating in it and that she would not be retaliated against for sharing her concerns with management.
Ms. Rogers claims she was fired in November 2022 after she refused to participate in the program that discriminated on the basis of race and sex, even though she received positive performance feedback from supervisors and colleagues. The stated reason for termination was “failure to perform job duties,” the legal complaint stated.
In the lawsuit, Ms. Rogers is seeking relief for religious discrimination in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the California Fair Employment and Housing Act, as well as wrongful termination.
An attorney for Ms. Rogers, Robert Weisenburger of LiMandri and Jonna in Rancho Santa Fe, California, told The Epoch Times in an interview that his client’s personal, religious beliefs as a Christian prevented her from being part of “Operation Equity.”

After losing 12% of stock value, $16 billion in company worth, more than 25% of sales and dropping out of the #1 position for beer in the USA, Anheuser Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth finally announced, “Today we took the very difficult but necessary decision to eliminate a number of positions across our corporate organization.”
The effort is described by Oxygen Financial CEO Ted Jenkin as corporate speak, where “simplify and reduce layers” can be translated to “clean up the corporate mess,” make the shareholders happy and increase the stock price. However, Anheuser Busch CEO Brendan Whitworth, a former CIA operative and woke corporate leader, waited too long and still doesn’t recognize the issue.
Stick a fork in Anheuser Busch and Bud Light, they’re done.
None of this was accidental or unforeseeable. Factually, former Budweiser Light Vice President of Marketing, Alissa Heinerscheid, told Anheuser Bush executives exactly what they were getting when they hired the Wharton business school graduate. Her intent was to bring a new cultural wokeism into the company, and the cultural wokeism is exactly what the company wanted.
Anheuser Busch got exactly what they structurally set themselves up to require. VP of Marketing, Alissa Heinerscheid, did not fail in her job – she delivered exactly what she was hired to generate. The infection will not be removed or cured by firing approximately 400 corporate white-collars who executed the Heinerscheid vision for the company, because it was not her vision alone.
The Anheuser Busch CEO and Board of Directors created the space for Heinerscheid to operate, approved of every move, gleefully celebrated the intent and purpose, and yet now stand back jaw-agape at the outcome?
The time for pearl clutching, and reactionary perspectives is in the rear-view mirror. Do you really think the same CEO who approved the Heinerscheid agenda is really capable of removing the Heinerscheid culture?

I do not believe people like this merely ‘gravitate toward government service’, though many lower officials are like that. I believe the top people are as generals who are leading large armies of infiltrators and toadies, all of them bent on destroying USA. From top to bottom our government bureaucracy is rife with people like this. And from top to bottom virtually all of our other major institutions are like this.
