The U.S. Air Force has revealed new details regarding its first offensive operation against Iranian targets, Operation Midnight Hammer, which in the late hours of June 21 saw seven B-2 Spirit intercontinental range stealth bombers used to target the Fordow and Natanz nuclear facilities.
B-2s took of from Whiteman Air Force Base with a flight plan that indicated Guam was their destination, fuelling speculation that the aircraft were intended to be forward deployed to be able to generation sorties against Iranian targets more quickly.
This ruse appears to have been intended to reduce the possibility of Iran preparing its defences to intercept the targets.
Elaborating on the operation, and the support which the B-2s received from other American assets, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs General Dan Caine reported: “As the Operation Midnight Hammer Strike package entered Iranian airspace, the U.S. employed several deception tactics, including decoys, as the fourth-and fifth-generation aircraft pushed out in front of the strike package at high altitude and high speed, sweeping in front of the package for enemy fighters and surface-to-air missile threats.”
Trump sided with the Israelis, asserting that Iran was ‘very close’ to having a bomb, and added that he didn’t care what Gabbard thinks.
The sudden claim of Iran being very close to a bomb (that seemingly jumped out of ‘nowhere’ to leave Americans puzzling how could it happen that – in the blink of eye, we are going to war – was subsequently refuted by IAEA Chief Grossi to CNN on 17 June (but only after the abrupt attack on Iran already had taken place):

There may be some truth to this assertion, but I do not believe it is the core reason Trump bombed Iran’s nuke facilities. The core reason, in my view, is in one fell swoop Trump has completely removed Israel’s main excuse for wanting to engage in full-scale war with Iran. Israel and Iran can now fight all they want. There is no longer any reason for Trump to be drawn into whatever conflict may occur. It was a savvy move on Trump’s part which changed the game overnight because there are new ‘facts on the ground’ now. This avoids USA having to do Israel’s fighting and dying while Israelis do nothing. Another point is, the world has become accustomed to seeing Israeli savagery in Gaza. If something similar starts happening to Israel, it will not look unusual to most people or morally undeserved.
At an even deeper level, Trump seems to have ushered Israel into a boxed canyon of their own making. They threw away their victim card in Gaza; wore down US gullibility through many wars for Israel; caused peoples in the West to realize Jewish Supremists are the main backers and doers of censorship, mind-control, illegal immigration and getting other people to die for their interests. Unfortunately, Godzilla Trump began his journey to the EU today by using a very emphatic F-bomb directed at Iran and Israel. Netanyahu promptly apologized, reversed his antagonistic enterprise and ducked for cover. A grouchy Godzilla is not what the EU leaders want to be facing. Grimaces abound.

Trump’s taking out the nuclear facilities in Iran removed Israel’s excuse to attack Iran. This is a very important point.
On another note, Miller should be asked if he is a Jewish Supremist. He might give a thoughtful answer. I would like to hear that. The world’s top KOBK player sent a strong signal followed by this qualified threat of much worse to come if warranted. Some are saying it was a weak move and a betrayal of MAGA campaign promises. I don’t think so. This can more accurately be seen as a decisive act that will eventually neuter Iran, while not allowing Israel to become the region’s hegemon (because at the same time Israel has shown its weakness and taken damage as well). My money is still on Trump: 1) because he is all we got; and 2) because he probably is making good moves and probably will succeed in bringing something resembling peace to the area without starting WW3. I still believe and hope Trump is seeking a world with a strong alliance among northern countries, Russia, USA, and Europe being the top three players. In that world, the Middle East will be governed by a coalition of regional states which will focus on prosperity, not terrorism or aggrandizement. ABN
I have been busy and unable to post more often. One big thing to say is it seems that Trump, so far, has been handling the Israel-Iran war well. So far, he has been keeping a wise distance and appears to be doing what he can to prevent WW3. He also seems to be showing that he is not Israel’s bitch and not a toady to Jewish Supremists. All we can know comes from signs and actions. What he has done and said and not done and not said lead me to conclude he has good control of his and USA’s role in this war. ABN
