…What’s really going on in the back rooms of the current American administration was not reflected by Kissinger’s high-profile peace initiative, but by an extremely combative Edward Luttwak.

Luttwak, 80, may not be as visibly influential as Kissinger, but as a behind the scenes strategist he’s been advising the Pentagon across the spectrum for over five decades.

What’s “unlimited”, depicted by Luttwak in a Spenglerian sweep, is Xi Jinping’s drive to “get ready for war”. And if there’s a war, Luttwak claims that “of course” China would lose. That dovetails with the supreme delusion of Straussian neocon psychos across the Beltway.

Luttwak, in just a few words, actually gives away the whole game: “The Russian Federation, as it is, is not strong enough to contain China as much as we would wish”.

Hence the turn around by the Biden combo to “freeze” the conflict in the Donbass and change the subject. After all, “if that [China] is the threat, you don’t want Russia to fall apart,” Luttwak reasons.

So much for Kissingerian “diplomacy.”

…In the lawsuit, the lawyers cite a memo between Gabe Bankman-Fried and an officer of the FTX Foundation where he describes a plan to purchase Nauru, a tiny nation island in Micronesia. 

The goal, according to the memo, would be to build a bunker that could be used in the event that “50%-99.99% of people die,” with the aim of ensuring that most EAs, or effective altruists, can survive, as well as to develop “sensible regulation around human genetic enhancement, and build a lab there.” 

“Probably there are other things it’s useful to do with a sovereign country, too,” the memo also notes.

Russia is threatening to use its Wagner mercenary army to invade NATO’s ‘weakest link’ – a key strategic strip of land straddling the border between Poland and Lithuania, one of Putin’s cronies has revealed. 

A top Putin parliamentarian revealed on Russian state television that mercenary forces were ready to march on the sought-after territory ‘in a matter of hours’, in a move that could trigger World War Three.

The 60-mile Suwalki Corridor – or Gap – that spans from north west Belarus to the southeastern border of Russia’s Baltic exclave of Kaliningrad has massive strategic importance for NATO and the EU – as well as Moscow.

For the West, it is the only land link to the three ex-Soviet Baltic republics – Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia – which are seen as vulnerable to Putin if the current east-west tension worsens.

For Russia, control of the corridor would give a land link Kaliningrad, the main base of Putin’s Baltic Fleet, and firm Kremlin ally Belarus.

French Riots Show That Decades Of Mass “Colonizing Immigration” Could Lead To “Collapse”, Says Former Head Of French Counter-Intel Agency

After mass riots during the past week shocked France and the world, the former head of France’s powerful DGSE intelligence agency says the root cause of his country’s tragic situation is above all “the dominant ideology, which has justified and even glorified the massive colonizing immigration that has been taking place over the last half-century.”

Pierre Brochand was head of France’s DGSE counter-intelligence agency from 2002 to 2008. Since 2019, he has made repeated calls for a radical change in his country’s immigration policy over what he says is the looming threat of civil war.

In a discussion about immigration on the public radio station France Culture last April, Brochand issued a warning which found its full expression in the week of violent rioting and looting that took hold of France after the shooting of a teenager of Algerian origin on June 27:

“If we do nothing or if we do little, we are going to head either towards a progressive implosion of social trust in France, that is to say towards a society where the quality of life will collapse and where it will be less and less pleasant to live, or, by successive explosions, towards confrontations that will make France a country where one will not be able to live at all.”

Now, in an interview published on July 6 on the website of Le Figaro daily newspaper, Brochand exposes, as Le Figaro puts it, “the deadly cocktail of a society of individuals based on openness and democracy and the arrival of entire diasporas with totally different cultural backgrounds.”

America Has Just Destroyed a Great Empire

…After eight years of provocation, a new military attack on Russian-speaking Ukrainians was conspicuously prepared, ready to drive toward the Russian border in February 2022. Russia protected its fellow Russian-speakers from further ethnic violence by mounting its own Special Military Operation. The United States and its NATO allies immediately seized Russia’s foreign-exchange reserves held in Europe and North America, and demanded that all countries impose sanctions against importing Russian energy and grain, hoping that this would crash the ruble’s exchange rate. The Delphic State Department expected that this would cause Russian consumers to revolt and overthrow Vladimir Putin’s government, enabling U.S. maneuvering to install a client oligarchy like the one it had nurtured in the 1990s under President Yeltsin.

A byproduct of this confrontation with Russia has been to lock in America’s control over its Western European satellites. The aim of this intra-NATO jockeying was to foreclose Europe’s dream of profiting from closer trade and investment relations with Russia by exchanging its industrial manufactures for Russian raw materials. The United States derailed that prospect by blowing up the Nord Stream gas pipelines, cutting off Germany and other countries from access to low-priced Russian gas. That left Europe’s leading economy dependent on higher-cost U.S. Liquified Natural Gas (LNG).

In addition to having to subsidize domestic European gas to prevent widespread insolvency, a large proportion of German Leopard tanks, U.S. Patriot missiles and other NATO “wonder weapons” are being destroyed in combat against the Russian army. It has become clear that the U.S. strategy is not simply to “fight to the last Ukrainian,” but to fight to the last tank, missile and other weapon being deleted from NATO stocks.

It is very easy to understand the fear and hatred Poles and Lithuanians have for Russia which dominated them for centuries. Still, I think they are making a big mistake if they widen this war. And that mistake is based on the mistake of three decades ago when Lithuania, at least, could have declared neutrality and worked as a bridge between Russia and Europe. There is karma at work in this. How it will unfold is impossible to predict. But neither country has the military might to defeat Russia. Even all of Europe does not. So the US neocon proxy war against Ukraine will expand to involve more of Europe and possibly all of Europe. No one will gain except the neocons who will stand over the ashes of Europe and Russia, sole ruler of the West. Incidentally, precisely this scenario—with a ruined America included—is a common Chinese fantasy of how China will come to dominate the earth. ABN

According to the Daily Caller, Group VP for Marketing Daniel Blake, and Bud Light Marketing VP Alissa Heinerscheid are “gone, gone” after initially being placed on leave, per an anonymous source.

“To my understanding if we publicly announced the word ‘fire’ it opens up the potential for them to sue us. Thats why we said leave of absence,” said the source in a text message to the Caller. “The wholesalers would have had an absolute HAY DAY with leadership if they didn’t remove her.” (Or maybe a field day?)

“To be fair- Daniel Blake was actually awesome. I think he was just caught in cross fire. But also he did hire her… so thats a fault,” the source continued.

“Wholesalers were told they are both gone for good by leadership during in person conversations. They already shifted all their direct reports to new people and the head of marketing,” they said.

Hans Niemann’s $100 Million Defamation Lawsuit Dismissed

A federal judge on Tuesday dismissed GM Hans Niemann‘s $100 million lawsuit against GMs Magnus Carlsen, Hikaru Nakamura, Chess.com, the Play Magnus Group, and IM Daniel Rensch. This means that, at least for the moment, the legal battle that followed cheating allegations toward Niemann, causing a scandal covered by media all over the world, is over.

In his lawsuit filed on October 20, 2022, Niemann against all five entities claimed slander, libel, unlawful group boycott under the Sherman Act, tortious interference with contract and business expectancies, and civil conspiracy. For each cause of action, at least $100 million was claimed.

The judge in the U.S. District Court in the Eastern District of Missouri noted that “counts 3 and 4,” both regarding a possible antitrust injury, were dismissed “with prejudice,” meaning they cannot be brought again. The other counts were dismissed for lack of jurisdiction but “without prejudice,” meaning that the court dismissed federal claims and declined to hear state claims. This leaves the door open for the case to be re-filed in a state court, for instance if new evidence appears.
