‘Play with fire and you will get burned’: China’s Xi’s fierce warning to Biden on Taiwan in two-hour call as tensions reach boiling point and White House braces for potential military response to Nancy Pelosi’s trip

President Joe Biden spoke with Chinese President Xi Jinping Thursday morning amid rising tensions with Taiwan

Xi said during the two-hour call, according to Chinese state media: ‘Those who play with fire will only get burnt. Hope the U.S. side can see this clearly’

The call is the fifth time the leaders spoke since Biden took office last year

Chinese press reports that Taiwan will ‘bear the wrath of Beijing’ should House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s visit to the island go forward

Almost exactly the same play US/NATO did on Ukraine to provoke the Russian invasion. Pelosi was delegated the role of provocateur by Biden’s handlers. None of this has been a surprise. This is indeed playing with fire. Xi’s lockdowns in China can be interpreted in several ways, but one major one is he has been preparing for war, preparing for just this sort of American provocation. Does USA have a super-weapon and is thus willing to take on both China and Russia at once? Or is USA falling into a hubris trap? No one can know what will happen next. ABN

The Inversion of Jordan Peterson – Jeff Nyquist

In his recent video on “Russia vs. Ukraine,” Jordan Peterson said that the West must join with Russia in order to counterbalance China; but, like most influential celebrities, Peterson has yet to realize that China and Russia have been secretly working together for a long time. He has not awakened to the fact that President Richard Nixon’s opening to China was a strategic blunder, and partnering with Russia at the end of the Cold War was also a blunder. Russia is now the world’s leading nuclear power, bar none. China is now the greatest industrial power in the world, bar none. Power of this kind is not attained by accident, but by policy. And the West, led by the United States, facilitated the strengthening of these hostile regimes.

Nyquist has a clear and strongly stated position on Russia, China, and USA. If he is right, much of my worldview will have to change. ABN

Russia declares expanded war goals beyond Ukraine’s Donbas

LONDON (Reuters) -Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Wednesday that Moscow’s military “tasks” in Ukraine now went beyond the eastern Donbas region, in the clearest acknowledgment yet that it has expanded its war goals.

In an interview with state media nearly five months after Russia’s invasion, the foreign minister also said peace talks made no sense at the moment because Western governments were leaning on Ukraine to fight rather than negotiate.

In Eurasia, the War of Economic Corridors Is in Full Swing

The War of Economic Corridors is now proceeding full speed ahead, with the game-changing first cargo flow of goods from Russia to India via the International North South Transportation Corridor (INSTC) already in effect.

Very few, both in the east and west, are aware of how this actually has long been in the making: the Russia-Iran-India agreement for implementing a shorter and cheaper Eurasian trade route via the Caspian Sea (compared to the Suez Canal), was first signed in 2000, in the pre-9/11 era.

The INSTC in full operational mode signals a powerful hallmark of Eurasian integration – alongside the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), and last but not least, what I described as “Pipelineistan” two decades ago.

‘The reality of Western leaders collective decision to radically transform Western Energy Policy, post-pandemic, is the origin of our current inflation crisis; and that admission must be avoided at all costs by the ideological pretenders’

(1) Check this out (I'm venting):

”With the economy clearly in excess demand, inflation high and broadening, … the Governing Council decided to front-load the path to higher interest rates,” the bank said.

(2) ”With the economy clearly in excess demand"… That's the view of inflation, and justification, from the Bank of Canada.

Economic demand is just too strong. The economy is just too great. So, we must increase interest rates.

Think about it.

(3) No western economy is suffering from too much demand. However, the central banks and monetary policy makers are all pretending demand is driving inflation in order to justify rate increases.

One big collective game of f**king pretending.
