I’m a 31F mental health therapist specializing in asian american suicide. I’m about to present to my state’s suicide council to advocate for more awareness into the tiger parenting dynamic that causes suicide as someone who attempted when I was 16. I’m currently trying to gather research from the heads of my field (the American Psychological Association) and i. am. pissed. Every research article published by Asian American psychologists says the root cause of AA mental health is… racism by white people. They talk about white people causing the model minority pressure. WTF?! That pressure doesn’t come from THEM! It comes from our parents!
Yes we experience racism. But that is not the core of our issues as Asian American kids. Also mind you, when I was in school for my BA degree in psych (2011-2015) the research papers and articles I had to study in school NEVER used the asian demographic in their studies! it was always blacks and latinos! and now that we have representation its fucking skewed and not representative of what we actually go through. it was so invalidating and infuriating to read.
This is ripple effect of what happened in 2011 when Amy Chua came out with her book and outted the concept of tiger parenting. For the first time someone named what we were all going through. And we had something out there we can grab hold of and DO something about it.
But what did the Asian American community do instead?
They. rejected. it. They did the whole NoT eVeRy AsIAn. They made it a SIN to talk about the very real shit that is posted on here every single day. They hid our struggles because the optics looked so bad. They did the exact problem that’s causing problems in our community: shut up and keep quiet. I couldn’t fucking believe the backlash. I and so many other Asian American kids tried killing ourselves because of this tiger parenting shit. I’m a fucking therapist specializing in suicide for Asian Americans because no therapist in my 20 years of trying to get help for this problem know what the fuck to do.
I’m so livid. I’m out here specializing in AA suicide, about to talk to my state council and trying to find facts and research to justify more money into the nuances of asian american mental health and our own people are hurting us.

If things go according to the current outlook, the biggest loser this week will not be Kamala, it will be Barack Obama. In specific terms his legacy is on the line.
Kamala Harris would not be in position without the moves Chicago Jesus made in 2020 together with James Clyburn. Obama/Clyburn picked Senator Harris.
Kamala would not be in 2024 position, were it not for the intervention of Chicago Jesus, Pelosi and the upper echelon of DNC control officers. Once again, Obama stepped in to support Kamala. Barack Obama, together with Eric Holder, then selected Tim Walz.
This week, it’s not just the insufferable Kamala on the ballot, it’s Obama, and he knows it. That’s why he has enlisted his closest peers in media to support her, and by extension protect him. They are tied together.
Even with the media intention to present a “dead heat” contest and fraudulent Kamala “momentum”, which really isn’t about MAGA, they know that doesn’t work now; the effort to pull the goalie in the 3rd period, is more about giving the base some hope because they are worried the core has given up and won’t bother to turn up on Tuesday.
The left can see the same raw early vote data we can, but their pretending is necessary because they have a leader who desperately needs to stay relevant for their identity to survive beyond Tuesday.
Who are the Democrats without Obama?
They need morale. Yes, even in defeat, they need a morale message that can keep the movement alive. Because without it, the Obama era truly does end just as fast as it came in.
The need for control is a reaction to fear. It’s not losing the election they fear, it’s losing relevance within a political apparatus whose modern identity is built upon Chicago Jesus.
The same relevance motive and intent apply toward leftist media. There are lots of people desperate to cling to the last vestiges of something that is gone.
The era ends on Tuesday. Obama knows it, and the media know it. Kamala is clueless.
The most ironic aspect to this political dynamic will be missed by most.
President Obama rose to power in 2008 because the 18–25-year-old Millennials built him up and believed his BS. In 2024 it is the 18–25-year-old Gen-Z who will take him down, because they don’t.
A reasonable analysis which yielded exactly nothing. Israel is not playing by Western reasoning. They are playing by KOBK reasoning, infused with Jewish chutzpah and hubris in spades. Their allies by marriage, employment, bribery and blackmail inside USA and Europe carry them forward in plausible secrecy, a form of plausible deniability: ‘it’s not only us!’ Even our best public thinkers run from this subject even though it is precisely this which is driving us into WW3.
