Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins on Thursday said the Trump administration is planning to have all Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program (SNAP) beneficiaries reapply for the program due to alleged fraud.
The secretary said after receiving data on SNAP recipients from 29 red states that “186,000 deceased men and women and children in this country are receiving a check.”
“Can you imagine when we get our hands on the blue state data what we’re going to find?” she asked during a Thursday appearance on Newsmax’s “Rob Schmitt Tonight.”
“It’s going to give us a platform and a trajectory to fundamentally rebuild this program, have everyone reapply for their benefit, make sure that everyone that’s taking a taxpayer-funded benefit through SNAP or food stamps, that they literally are vulnerable, and they can’t survive without it,” she added.
Immigration and Customs Enforcement has launched an initiative with state and local law enforcement partners to find roughly 450,000 “unaccompanied alien children” who were illegally smuggled into the U.S. during the Biden administration and placed with unvetted sponsors.
The new UAC Safety Verification Initiative is focused on protecting children from sexual abuse and exploitation through a broader collaboration among so-called 287(g) partners.
“The primary focus of this initiative is to conduct welfare checks on these children to ensure that they are safe and not being exploited,” the Department of Homeland Security said.
Florida on Monday became the first state in the nation to implement the initiative.

A whopping $37,000 has been raised for the legal defense of 20-year-old Mississippi student Patrick McClintock, who was arrested on Monday for disturbing the peace.

Gavin Newsom has been forced to revoke 17,000 commercial driver’s licenses given to illegal migrants after being called out by Donald Trump‘s transportation secretary.
‘After weeks of claiming they did nothing wrong, Gavin Newsom and California have been caught red-handed,’ Duffy said.
California has informed the licensees they will no longer be valid in 60 days time, with Duffy adding there’s more to come.

Jason Reding Quinones, US Attorney for the Southern District of Florida, has subpoenaed at least 30 Obama officials involved with an investigation into Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign, The New York Times reported.

The handcuffed man answering questions is Chen Dawei, a member of the infamous Wei family, one of several powerful mafia groups that for years operated with impunity in Myanmar’s border town of Laukkaing.
His confession forms just one part of a months-long propaganda push by Chinese officials. It both warns Chinese people of South East Asia’s billion-dollar scam industry, and highlights the Chinese government’s crackdown on the men behind an industry which has trapped thousands, and stolen billions.
