An ex-educator claiming the de Blasio administration knowingly permitted “racial harassment” against white staffers in the public school system — during anti-bias training sessions and in the workplace — can sue NYC, a federal appellate court ruled this week.
The bombshell decision on Thursday overturned a lower-court’s dismissal of a 2019 lawsuit by Leslie Chislett, a veteran administrator who led the Advanced Placement for All initiative in the city Department of Education. It paves the way for a trial or financial settlement with the city.
“She presented evidence that would allow a reasonable juror to find that the DOE consistently ignored racial harassment of Caucasian employees during ‘implicit bias’ trainings and workplace interactions,” the three-judge panel of the US 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals found.
Defendants Allegedly Arranged for Women to Travel to a Sex ‘Dungeon’ in a New York City Penthouse, Where He Exceeded the Scope of Their Consent by Violently Abusing Them
A 10-count indictment was unsealed today in federal court in Brooklyn charging retired New York-based financier, Howard Rubin, also known as “Howie” and “H,” along with his personal assistant, Jennifer Powers, with sex trafficking and transporting women in interstate commerce for sex acts with Rubin. Rubin was also charged with bank fraud in connection with misrepresentations made to a bank in the course of financing Powers’s mortgage for the Texas home of Powers and her husband.
Rubin was arrested this morning in Fairfield, Connecticut and will be arraigned this afternoon in federal court in Brooklyn before United States Magistrate Judge Peggy Kuo. Powers was arrested in Texas this morning and is scheduled to make her initial appearance on Monday in federal court in the Northern District of Texas. Powers will be arraigned in the Eastern District of New York at a later date.
Joseph Nocella Jr., United States Attorney for the Eastern District of New York, Christopher G. Raia, Assistant Director in Charge, New York Field Office (FBI), and Harry T. Chavis, Jr., Special Agent in Charge, Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigation, New York (IRS-CI New York) announced the arrests and indictment.
“As alleged, the defendants used Rubin’s wealth to mislead and recruit women to engage in commercial sex acts, where Rubin then tortured women beyond their consent, causing lasting physical and/or psychological pain, and in some cases physical injuries,” stated United States Attorney Nocella. “Today’s arrests show that no one who engages in sex trafficking, in this case in luxury hotels and a penthouse apartment that featured a so-called sex ‘dungeon,’ is above the law, and that they will be brought to justice. Human beings are not chattel to be exploited for sex and sadistically abused, and anyone who thinks otherwise can expect to find themselves in handcuffs and facing federal prosecution like these defendants.”
“For many years, Howard Rubin and Jennifer Powers allegedly spent at least one million dollars to finance the commercial sexual torture of multiple women via a national trafficking network. The defendants allegedly exploited Rubin’s status to ensnare their prospective victims and forced them to endure unthinkable physical trauma before silencing any outcries with threats of legal recourse,” stated FBI Assistant Director in Charge Raia. “The FBI will continue to apprehend any trafficker who sexually abuses others for twisted gratification.”
“It’s alleged Rubin directed a sex trafficking enterprise, exploiting women who were transported from across the country to his Manhattan penthouse that was equipped with a soundproof sex room filled with BDSM equipment, including a device used to shock the women,” stated Special Agent in Charge of IRS-CI Chavis. “This was not a one-man show. While Rubin dehumanized these women with abhorrent sexual acts, Powers is alleged to have run the day-to-day operations of the enterprise and got paid generously for her efforts. IRS-CI and FBI partnered to see fit that all the facts are detailed in this case and ensure that this pair realizes the full consequences of their ghastly behaviors.”

Whether you like Corrupt James Comey or not, and I can’t imagine too many people liking him, HE LIED! It is not a complex lie, it’s a very simple, but IMPORTANT one. There is no way he can explain his way out of it. He is a Dirty Cop, and always has been, but he was just assigned a Crooked Joe Biden appointed Judge, so he’s off to a very good start. Nevertheless, words are words, and he wasn’t hedging or in dispute. He was very positive, there was no doubt in his mind about what he said, or meant by saying it. He left himself ZERO margin of error on a big and important answer to a question. He just got unexpectedly caught. James “Dirty Cop” Comey was a destroyer of lives. He knew exactly what he was saying, and that it was a very serious and far reaching lie for which a very big price must be paid! President DJT
Donald Trump asserted on Thursday that James Comey nearly started a war by launching Crossfire Hurricane – the widescale and fruitless investigation into Russian collusion.
‘Comey placed a cloud over the entire nation, and actually, the Russia, Russia, Russia hoax made it very difficult,’ Trump he told Fox News.
The president then added: ‘It could have caused wars.’
The charges for Comey were related to his testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee on September 30, 2020 over Crossfire Hurricane – the codename for the Trump-Russia investigation.
For those having trouble following along with all of the controversy within “public health” as practiced in USA, vaccines, and medical practice.
When you distill it all, it comes down to the rights of the individual versus the rights of the collective.
Modern “Public health” is all about maximizing the greatest happiness for the greatest number, and acts to advance the rights and interests of the collective. Traditional medical practice is focused on the rights and interests of the individual patient.
From this, you can appreciate why socialists and leftists are all in on the rights of “Public Health” to impose mandates, and those that support personal liberty are aligned with the medical rights of the individual and the importance of informed consent.
“Public health” in USA believes that the rights of the collective are more important than the rights of the individual.
The work of Karl Marx and colleagues supports the collective as pre-eminent. The US Constitution and associated founding documents disagree and emphasize the rights of the individual.
Collectivism vs individual rights. That is really what this is all about.
1.) This is NOT an annual fee. It’s a one-time fee that applies only to the petition.
2.) Those who already hold H-1B visas and are currently outside of the country right now will NOT be charged $100,000 to re-enter.
H-1B visa holders can leave and re-enter the country to the same extent as they normally would; whatever ability they have to do that is not impacted by yesterday’s proclamation.
3.) This applies only to new visas, not renewals, and not current visa holders.
It will first apply in the next upcoming lottery cycle.
This is a structural kill shot disguised as moderation – not a walk-back.
Trump’s team knew if they slammed existing holders immediately, the courts, corporations, and universities would swarm them with injunctions and sob stories about disruption.
So they carved out the stock, left it untouched, but put a noose around the flow. That’s the actual pipeline that kept Silicon Valley, outsourcing shops, and Indian IT mills running. Kill the flow, the stock ages out, and the model dies in slow motion.
Think of it like choking off oxygen. The body (existing H-1Bs) keeps moving for a while, but without new supply, the system collapses from within.
The real mask-off implication:
•For American labor: This is the first time in decades the cost arbitrage model has been structurally dismantled. Over the next 2–3 years, wages at the bottom tier of STEM jobs will rise, not because of “free markets,” but because the cheap labor conveyor belt is being dismantled.
•For Indian IT giants: Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Cognizant – their stock reactions already show it. Their business model is fundamentally impaired. They can’t win contracts undercutting wages without cheap visa inflows.
•For universities: The H-1B system was a backdoor subsidy to pump STEM enrollments. If the exit pipeline is shut down, the entire higher-ed incentive structure breaks. That’s a slow bleed, but it’s lethal.
•For markets: The knee-jerk calm (“oh, existing holders are safe”) is a misread. This isn’t about the next quarter. It’s about rewiring the labor supply chain. That’s far more radical.
Trump just set a fuse that detonates the 30-year experiment of outsourcing America’s brain. It won’t look explosive at first, it’ll look like a slow policy tweak. But in 12–24 months, it creates a reflexive cascade: higher wages, corporate reshoring pressure, offshoring taxes, universities losing demand, and foreign IT stocks structurally repriced down.
Not sure if this is where the supposed Robinson shot was fired, but the question is still good. If your investigation is honest release the videos. Instead of fighting to keep the public in the dark, release the evidence and let the public help figure it out. Release the video behind Kirk, release all of it. ABN
US President Donald Trump is preparing to sign a proclamation on Friday that would impose a new $100,000 fee on H-1B visa applications, in one of the most sweeping overhauls yet of the program central to the US technology industry, according to a report by Bloomberg.
The proclamation will restrict entry under the H-1B system unless employers pay the new charge, with the administration arguing the visa has been exploited to push Americans out of jobs, Bloomberg reported citing a White House official.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed the development on X, posting a link to the Bloomberg report, with a caption headlined ‘Trump to Add New $100,000 Fee for H-1B Visas in Latest Crackdown.’
Better to raise the fee to $500,000–$1,000,000 or more. This seems like a good way to control Big Tech sleaze in hiring. ABN
UPDATE: The fee is $100,00 per year, which sounds good to me. I had thought it was a one-time payment when I wrote the above. This looks like a great move and is a simple way to control H-1B without a slew of new regulations. ABN
