CANADA: James Topp pleads guilty to military vaccine criticism charges
Former Canadian soldier James Topp pleaded guilty in military court to a maximum punishment of dismissal with disgrace for protesting the federal government’s Covid-19 vaccine mandate.
On Tuesday, Topp pleaded guilty to two counts of conduct to the prejudice of good order and discipline at the onset of his court martial in New Westminster, B.C.
In February 2022, while serving as a warrant officer, Topp criticized the Canadian Armed Forces’ (CAF) vaccine mandate for military and civilian members.

Thailand’s plan to deploy Chinese police patrol sparks outcry
BANGKOK – Thailand is mulling over a plan to station Chinese police personnel at some of its popular tourist destinations to lift the confidence of travellers from the Asian neighbour, but the move has sparked a controversy, with some critics raising concerns over sovereignty.
The cooperation with Chinese police was discussed by Prime Minister Srettha Thavisin, senior police and tourism officials on Sunday as a way to draw more Chinese visitors, who used to make up the largest number of foreign arrivals to Thailand before the Covid-19 pandemic.
“We’re in talks with the Chinese embassy about a patrol programme to bring Chinese police to Thailand,” Tourism Authority of Thailand governor Thapanee Kiatphaibool told reporters on Sunday. “This will show how Thailand has ramped up safety measures, which will be a great boost to Chinese tourists’ confidence.”
Ms Thapanee said that a similar programme was “successfully” implemented in Italy in the past.
The European country is home to the largest number of so-called secret Chinese police stations, according to reports by Safeguard Defenders, a Spain-based human rights group, which has found at least 102 such police centres in 53 foreign countries.

James Comer: National Archives Withholding 99.98% of Pages of Joe Biden’s Alias Emails
The Biden administration is obstructing the House impeachment inquiry by withholding 99.98 percent of emails from President Joe Biden, House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer (R-KY) recently said.
The emails, thousands of which are under aliases, are in the possession of the National Archives and are relevant to the impeachment inquiry into Joe Biden. The alias accounts raise concern because they are unusual, suspicious, and “shady,” experts and lawmakers previously told Breitbart News. The use of a private email for official business is discouraged by law.

The National Archives has identified 82,000 pages of emails where then-Vice President Joe Biden used a fake name, but the Biden White House has only cleared 14 pages in response to multiple Oversight Committee requests for documents related to then-Vice President Biden.
“This lack of transparency from the self-identified ‘most transparent administration in history’ is looking more like obstruction every day,” he continued. “Congress needs full access to these records and others as part of our investigation into Joe Biden and the Biden family’s corruption.”

Trump responds to Sidney Powell
Three days ago, Sidney Powell accepted a plea deal from the prosecutors. Instead of going to trial on seven felonies, Ms. Powell pleaded guilty to only six misdemeanors—for which she will only be given six years’ worth of probation and a $6,000 fine.
This is significantly less than the actual jail time that she was facing. However, outside of this reduced sentence, there is something else. Because she took the plea deal, Ms. Powell will now be required to testify against the other co-defendants at the upcoming trials—including against former President Donald Trump himself.

Sidney Powell, one of Donald Trump‘s former lawyers, has suddenly pleaded guilty to conspiring to overturn the results of the 2020 U.S. presidential election.
The so-called ‘Kraken’ lawyer, 68, admitted six criminal counts and avoided jail as she was sentenced to six years probation during a surprise appearance at the Fulton County court in Georgia on Thursday.
In a potentially devastating blow to Trump she agreed to testify truthfully against her co-defendants – including the former president – at future trials.
…Powell becomes the second of the defendants in the sprawling case to reach a deal with prosecutors, following bail bondsman Scott Hall, who played a less prominent role.
She entered her plea just a day before jury selection was set to start in her trial.
Her attorneys had strenuously denied prosecutors’ claims during early hearings and insisted they had evidence she was not a ‘driving force’ in the alleged conspiracy.

He is a master of American English who speaks bluntly and as truthfully as he is able. If you attack him, he will attack you. If you don’t attack him, he will not attack you. Everyone knows this. It’s a human thing and also a major American thing. Follow the law and no one will bother you (ideally). Follow the rules of American manners, and no one will attack you (ideally). Trump is a quintessential American politician who both reflects and embodies some of the deepest American values. That is why his supporters not only like his policies. We also like him.
