Italy Is Looking To Outlaw Lab-Grown Meat To Protect Its Food Heritage

Italy is eyeing up the prospect of banning lab-grown meat in a bid to safeguard the country’s rich food heritage and, in their words, protect their citizen’s health.

Italy’s Minister of Agriculture, Francesco Lollobrigida, led the call this week, taking to Twitter to say: “Italy is the first nation free from the risks of synthetic foods. A courageous result from the Meloni government, a strong stance in favor of the many traditional producers, besieged by a few increasingly unscrupulous multinationals.”

“In defense of citizens’ health, of our production model, of our quality, of our culture, simply our FOOD SOVEREIGNTY,” he added.

The Italian government has backed the bill, which would outlaw lab-grown meat and other synthetic foods. If the proposal gets through parliament, Italian industry will not be allowed to produce food or feed “from cell cultures or tissues derived from vertebrate animals.”

BREAKING NEWS: QAnon Shaman Jacob Chansley is freed from prison 14 months early after his lawyer said Jan. 6 footage showing him being escorted into Senate by cops was exculpatory

The lawyer who represented the ‘QAnon Shaman’ in his trial for storming the Capitol on January 6 has said that his client has been released from prison to a halfway house.

Jacob Chansley, 35, pleaded guilty in September 2021 to civil disorder and violent entry to the Capitol, among other charges, and was sentenced to 41 months in federal prison.

In a statement to DailyMail.com on Thursday his attorney Albert S. Watkins said he had been released from prison to the custody of a halfway house.

‘After serving eleven months in solitary prior to his sentence being imposed, and only 16 months of his sentence thereafter, it is appropriate this gentle and intelligent young man be permitted to move forward with the next stage of what undoubtedly will be a law abiding and enriching life,’ said Watkins.

‘I applaud the decision of the US Bureau of Prison in this regard,’ added Watkins.

Federal Prosecutor Admits DC Police Officers Acted as Agent Provocateurs During Jan. 6 Riot

Undercover police officers acting as agent provocateurs incited protesters to riot on January 6. The stunning development was uncovered during J6 defendant William Pope’s trial.

As reported by the Epoch Times’ Joseph Hanneman, a federal prosecutor “admitted in court papers that three D.C. Metropolitan Police Department undercover officers acted as provocateurs at the northwest steps of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021.”

The report cites an admission in a March 24 filing before U.S. District Judge Rudolph Contreras that sought to keep video footage shot by the officers under court seal. (The document now appears to have been removed.)

As noted by the report, “prosecutors accused the case defendant—William Pope of Topeka, Kansas—of an ‘illegitimate’ attempt to unmask the video as part of his alleged strategy to try the case in the news media. Pope filed a motion to remove the court seal on Feb. 21.”

Detransitioner Announces Intent To Sue For Childhood Medical Transition

A young detransitioned woman is seeking justice from the medical group and hospital that facilitated her medical transition between the ages of 12 to 17, which included puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones and a double mastectomy at just 13 years old.

The plaintiff, Layla Jane, is represented by the Dhillon Law Group and LiMandri & Jonna LLP in conjunction with the Center for American Liberty. On Wednesday, a letter of intent to sue was sent to the Permanente Medical Group and Kaiser Foundation Hospitals alleging “gross negligence” on behalf of their client, and accusing Kaiser of allowing “radical, inadequately studied, off-label, and essentially experimental treatment to occur on minors.”

The Intent to Sue further alleges that Layla’s doctors medically “affirmed” her without meaningful evaluation, failed to adequately disclose the health risks associated with puberty blockers and cross-sex hormone treatment, and emotionally manipulated her parents by proposing the false dilemma: “would you rather have a live son, or a dead daughter?”

SCOTUS nixes New York gun restrictions

WASHINGTON – The Supreme Court on Thursday struck down a New York law that required state residents to have “proper cause” to carry a handgun, a decision that could make it far easier for millions of Americans to arm themselves in public as the nation is reeling from a string of mass shootings.

Associate Justice Clarence Thomas wrote the opinion for a 6-3 majority, holding that the New York law violated the Constitution and signaling that other gun regulations disconnected from what he called the nation’s “historical tradition of firearm regulation” would face similar scrutiny in federal court.

“We know of no other constitutional right that an individual may exercise only after demonstrating to government officers some special need,” Thomas wrote of the New York law. “It is not how the Second Amendment works when it comes to public carry for self-defense.”

Proud Boys J6 Sedition Trial Halted After Leaked Chat Logs Show FBI Agent Said Her Boss Ordered Her To “Destroy Evidence”

The feds’ political persecution of the Proud Boys took a wild turn after unintentionally leaked chat logs from FBI Special Agent Nicole Miller revealed she said she was ordered by her boss to “destroy” “338 items of evidence.”

The leaked chats also suggest Miller failed to reveal relevant communications to the defense, potentially spied on privileged attorney-client communications and was asked by another agent to “edit out that I was present” during a meeting with a Confidential Human Source Informant.
