When tragedy struck Kerrville, Texas, swift water rescue teams could have made the difference between life and death. But thanks to Austin’s DEI-obsessed Fire Chief, they never got the chance.
Austin Fire Chief Joel Baker, celebrated by city leaders as the capital’s first Black fire chief and praised for pushing “diversity, equity, and inclusion” in hiring, is now facing a vote of no confidence from his own firefighters. And the reason is both infuriating and heartbreaking.
According to the Austin Firefighters Association, Chief Baker refused to pre-deploy rescue teams to Kerrville in the days leading up to the historic flooding—despite official state deployment orders arriving as early as July 2. The excuse? He wanted to “save money.”
But here’s the kicker: Texas fully reimburses departments for these emergency deployments. There would’ve been no cost to Austin taxpayers.
“I explained the reimbursement process to Chief Baker last week,” the union said, “and he failed to understand this very simple concept.”
Vero Beach, Fla. – Utah plastic surgeon Dr. Kirk Moore is facing thirty five years in federal prison for destroying thousands of vials of COVID-19 vaccine, giving his patients vaccine cards without taking the shots, and injecting saline into children whose parents wanted them to believe they got vaccinated without risking the deadly side effects.
Dr. Michael Kirk Moore Jr., 58, who operates his practice Plastic Surgery Institute of Utah, Inc. in Salt Lake County, Utah, begins his trial on Monday, July 7, 2025, at the Orrin G. Hatch U.S. Courthouse, located at 351 S. West Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah.
HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has not formally intervened, despite his agency’s Inspector General’s involvement, but did publicly expressed his support in April of this year, saying on his government verified X account, “Dr. Moore deserves a medal for his courage and commitment to healing.”
I cannot find who the speaker is but this is the best short summary of gender dysphoria madness you will hear.
This issue reveals how important uncrossed or uncrossable lines can be in all societies.
The speaker focuses on gay marriage as the line that was crossed at the top of the slippery slope we are still sliding down today.
To be clear, no one especially likes having clear societal lines that cannot be crossed. Those lines are always philosophically and morally weak in many contexts, but removing them makes things even worse.
I personally believe we would be better off if gay marriage had never happened. It is a good example of a line that should not have been crossed.
I am aware of all the reasons in support of gay marriage. But it is also true that by erasing that line we came to allow many thousands of young people to be harmed by extremely deluded if not mentally ill adults.
Gender-affirming care is a truly Orwellian term; evil in its message and even more evil in its preemptive denial of there even being any other possible message. The term is a psycholinguistic torture chamber nightmare.
I hope readers of this site are aware that all psychology, value, philosophy and belief can always be analyzed at the linguistic level because all of it comes from words or ends up with words.
Take anything that bothers you and analyze it at the linguistic level of its psycholinguistic descriptors. Analyze the words. Change the words. Think about them with both psychological and linguistic feeling and you will see what I mean.
Deeply satisfying and beautiful mysteries can be discovered through that method. ABN
The Department of Education announced that the University of Pennsylvania has agreed to resolve Title IX violations related to allowing transgender swimmer Lia Thomas to compete on the women’s team during the 2021-22 season.
As part of the resolution deal, Penn will adopt definitions for male and female consistent with biological sex; restore stolen records and titles to female athletes; and, issue personal apologies to each impacted female swimmer.
One of those swimmers is Paula Scanlan, a teammate of Thomas who has previously expressed the emotional distress she suffered from being forced to change with a biological male in the women’s locker room for an entire season.
Paula Scanlan, former University of Pennsylvania swimmer and teammate of Lia Thomas, testifies during the House Judiciary Subcommittee on Constitution and Limited Government hearing on gender-affirming care for children.
“I am deeply grateful to the Trump administration for standing firm in protecting women and girls and restoring our rightful accolades,” Scanlan told OutKick. “It is because of their strong leadership that my alma mater now knows it has no choice but to begin the process of reforming its policies to uphold women’s rights. Today marks a momentous step toward repairing the past mistreatment of female athletes and forging a future where sex discrimination no longer limits girls’ potential.”
The recent surprise attack by Israel on Iran has created a tumultuous geopolitical landscape, causing significant casualties among Iran’s military and nuclear leadership. This unprecedented strike, which has led to a retaliatory wave of missile attacks from Iran, has also involved the United States, raising alarms about a broader conflict. The nature of this attack—targeting high-profile figures in their own homes—has raised serious questions about international law and the norms governing warfare. The overwhelming media coverage, heavily skewed in favor of Israel, has obscured the violent and illegal nature of these actions, suggesting a troubling narrative control by pro-Israel factions within Western media. Historical parallels are drawn to past incidents, such as the 1967 attack on the USS Liberty, highlighting how media manipulation can alter public perception and political consequences.
The text contends that Israel has positioned itself as a dominant force in state-sponsored assassinations, surpassing historical precedents set by groups like the Order of Assassins. This shift in the practice of political assassinations marks a departure from traditional Western values that have largely deemed such actions as immoral and illegal. The article references past leaders who opposed assassination tactics, such as Adolf Hitler during World War II, emphasizing how the post-9/11 era has seen a significant transformation in the acceptability of targeted killings, especially under the guise of counter-terrorism. The author argues that the normalization of such methods, particularly by Israel and its intelligence agency, Mossad, has led to a dangerous precedent in global politics.
The narrative also examines the complexities of Iran’s foreign relations, specifically its hesitance to align too closely with powers like Russia and China, which may have contributed to its current predicament. The Iranian leadership’s desire for self-reliance and independence has left it vulnerable in the face of Israeli aggression. The sudden political shifts following the suspicious death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi further complicate the situation, with his successor, Masoud Pezeshkian, taking a more moderate approach and attempting to mend ties with the West.
Lastly, the article reflects on the implications of Israel’s actions and the potential for increased aggression toward other nations, including hostile rhetoric aimed at Pakistan and Turkey. The author warns that despite Israel’s current military prowess, its reliance on U.S. support could lead to severe consequences for both its own stability and that of the broader Middle Eastern region. The overarching theme suggests that if the dynamics of power shift, particularly regarding public perception and geopolitical alliances, it could lead to a significant backlash against Israel, potentially altering its standing and influence in global affairs. The article concludes with a cautionary note about the fragility of Israel’s power and the potential for historical cycles of change in international relations.

If an infantry company commander had concerns about the mental or physical fitness of one of his platoon leaders, he could ask a military doctor to evaluate him and report his findings to the commander. The doctor couldn’t assert a doctor/patient privilege or medical confidentiality rules because the fitness of military officers to perform their duties is vital to the effectiveness of the unit. That’s why there’s no doctor/patient privilege in either federal law or military law.
But what if the one with questionable mental or physical abilities is not a platoon leader but the commander-in-chief? Can the doctor refuse to disclose the president’s medical condition? Are the national security implications of the president’s fitness for duty less important than a platoon leader’s? That’s the question that is headed to a showdown between Dr. Kevin O’Connor, former President Joe Biden’s White House doctor, and Rep. James Comer, chair of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee.
U.S. Secretary of State / National Security Advisor, Marco Rubio, and Director of National Intelligence ODNI Tulsi Gabbard continue making background moves well worth noticing.
♦ Secretary Marco Rubio has moved forward with instructions to fire all overseas USAID staff.
Meanwhile, in an ancillary story that only begins to make sense in hindsight, we discover that DOJ Inspector General Michael Horowitz, a name very familiar to those who followed the Trump-Russia collusion nonsense, was removed from his DOJ-NSD oversight role and has been transferred to the Federal Reserve office.
Inspector General Michael Horowitz begins his new position on June 30th, with the announcement date noted as June 6th:
♦ The press release date about Horowitz’s move becomes interesting when contrast against the timing of the Intelligence Community hit against DNI Tulsi Gabbard, also on June 6th.
The timing here does not appear to be, well, coincidental. Remember, Horowitz is part of the ICIG system because he has IG oversight for the DOJ-National Security Division (DOJ-NSD). The departure of DOJ-NSD Inspector General Michael Horowitz is made simultaneous to the ICIG pushing leaks about DNI Tulsi Gabbard having put Dennis Kirk inside the ICIG to keep an eye on them.
[As an ancillary footnote, Inspector General Michael Horowitz was installed as the inspector general of the DOJ in April of 2012. The story that exploded in April 2012 was the IRS targeting of ‘conservative’ and ‘patriot’ groups, which originated from within…. wait for it…. the DOJ.]
Get the ball rolling and be proud for 1,000 years. If the Irish pull this off, I’m gonna love it. This is a moral battle and it requires men who feel it as well as think it. ABN
The sooner the better. Do not be afraid of Trump doing this. It is the only way to preserve American civilization. Giving in to the left or falling for their moralistic bs has sunk one civilization after another, one nation after another. The sooner USA (and Europe) take strong corrective action, the quicker we will succeed and the less violent the corrective will be. Russia and China were utterly destroyed by communists. That’s what will happen here if we fail to act. ABN
