Organizers of the world-famous Oktoberfest in Munich will not allow the song “L’Amour Toujours” to be played at the beer festival after a series of incidents where crowds in Germany shouted far-right chants to the melody of the decades-old pop tune.
“We want to ban it and I will ban it,” Oktoberfest boss Clemens Baumgärtner told dpa on Monday with regard to the song by Italian DJ Gigi D’Agostino.
“There’s no place for all that right-wing bullshit at the Wiesn,” he said, referring to the Theresienweise fairgrounds where Oktoberfest is held each year
The song itself does not contain any right-wing extremist content, but it has taken on “very clear right-wing extremist connotations” in Germany in recent months, said Baumgärtner.
Several ugly incidents involving racist chants to the song have caused outrage in Germany after videos went viral online. Police in several German states have also launched criminal investigations on suspicion of incitement to hatred.
A video of revellers outside a pub on the chic, exclusive North Sea island of Sylt shouting “Foreigners out – Germany for Germans” to the tune of the party hit has prompted condemnation and nationwide headlines.
Public sentiment, as expressed in songs like this, is the heart and soul of all politics. In fact, public sentiment is the only politics we have left today. Everything else is lost or never was. Elections and news are fraudulent, politicians bribed puppets, history a fairytale, policies nothing but decrees from the shadows that actually rule the West. I hope Germans sing their hearts out. Other forms of politically beneficial public sentiment are not taking yet another booster, booing a male trans athlete who wins a girls competition, not buying electric cars, actually researching climate change, remembering that all recent wars have been based on obvious lies, at least noticing the horrific slaughter not only in Gaza but also Ukraine. Tim Pool admits in this interview that he voted for President Obama, became cynical and jaded thereafter, didn’t vote in the 2016 election and finally awakened to the pragmatic value of President Trump in 2020, now calling him “the greatest president of my lifetime.”
Perhaps Mr Pool’s personal political story follows the arc of many self-described young libertarians, I don’t know. Factually, I try to relate to those who didn’t see the fraud that Barack Obama represented, but often I find myself walking away physically and mentally from this expressed political worldview because it seems odd to me. I want to embrace those who are new to a reality of massive political manipulation in the U.S, yet I find myself struggling to understand how so many people just didn’t (or don’t) see it.
In this interview Tim Pool asks President Trump about deportation of illegal aliens, the structure of a new cabinet, how to eliminate the bureaucracy that seems to control the DC machinery, and more. The video is prompted to the segment with President Trump [1:31:00]. WATCH:
New Hampshire Republicans advanced legislation Friday that would eliminate all exceptions to the state’s voter ID law.
House Bill 1569 would require anyone who shows up to register to vote on Election Day to provide proof of citizenship through documents such as a birth certificate or a passport.
“Confidence in our elections means that you have found that the person that confronted you, asking you for that ballot is qualified to vote. They are a citizen,” said state Sen. James Gray, R-Rochester.
After it was revealed that Attorney General Merrick Garland, the FBI and DOJ added language to their search warrant permitting the FBI to use deadly force against President Trump and/or his security detail during the FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago, President Trump responded with shock.
Special Counsel Jack Smith filed a motion to amend the bail conditions for President Trump on Friday night. Prosecutor Smith wants Judge Cannon to forbid President Trump from talking about the FBI agents who conducted the armed raid and used the search warrant. [PDF Court Motion Here]
There is a profound irony in Jack Smith seeking to block President Trump from talking about the FBI conduct, as the former president’s remarks might create “misleading impressions” about the details of the raid. The DOJ and FBI have been leaking “misleading impressions” to the media for almost 9 years about the FBI operation investigation of Donald Trump.
For nine years, more than 40 highly political assigned FBI agents have been fabricating stories and leaking them to the media; yet, it is President Trump who the DOJ worries might create “misleading impressions.” The issue would be farcical if the lying FBI topic was not so serious.
On Tuesday, Crook County became the 13th county in Oregon to vote to secede from the Democratic-controlled state and join neighboring Idaho, a conservative state that they believe better represents their values. The measure passed with 53 percent of the vote.
Organizers of Measure 7-86, also known as the “Greater Idaho Measure,” say the decision to secede is because of the state’s progressive policies and high crime rates. They allege they have been alienated in Oregon and that moving to Idaho would enable citizens to benefit from reduced taxes as well as improved governance and representation.
According to the proposal, the Oregon border would be moved 200 miles to the west. This would result in 14 counties and a few partial counties falling under Idaho state borders.
“The Oregon/Idaho line was established 163 years ago and is now outdated. It makes no sense in its current location because it doesn’t match the location of the cultural divide in Oregon,” the measure’s website states.
Now we know for certain: the diary, like the laptop, is real — and its contents are alarming.
So why isn’t the media all over this?
In 2019, Ashley Biden, the then 37-year-old daughter of President Biden and his wife Jill, wrote in her journal about showering with her father at an inappropriate age as well as her fears that, as a child, she was sexually abused.
Explosive stuff. Not that you would have heard about it, thanks to a near-complete, years-long media blackout.
After undergoing treatment in rehab, Ashley moved to a halfway house in Florida, where she left the diary under a mattress.
All that time, the Biden campaign let the left-wing media, of its own volition, cast aspersions on the diary’s authenticity, or dismiss it as a right-wing plant of dubious veracity, another Russia hoax. Just as with Hunter Biden‘s laptop.
Illegal immigration and control over the nation’s borders will be one of the major issues in this fall’s elections, and a key aspect of that issue is the number of people who are present in the country today – and what should be done about them. Should he win reelection, former President Donald Trump is reportedly being advised to deport almost 20 million illegal aliens, in a project similar to the United Kingdom’s Rwanda policy:
Donald Trump’s allies are drawing up detailed proposals to implement the presumptive Republican presidential nominee’s plans for an unprecedented immigration crackdown, including an effort that would deport asylum seekers to other countries, according to people involved in the effort.
A cadre of former Trump administration officials, Trump supporters and conservative immigration wonks are writing executive orders, policy memos and other documents in a bid to transform campaign rhetoric into policy. The goal, the people said, is to be ready on the first day of a Trump presidency to stem the flow of migrants across the U.S.-Mexico border, unwind President Biden’s immigration agenda and lay the groundwork for what the former president has said would be the largest mass deportation in U.S. history.
The UK’s Rwanda project has to do with the deportation of Rwandan immigrants from the UK, in which the British government plans to repatriate over 50,000 illegal immigrants.
Representative Harriet Hageman used the opportunity of the House Weaponization Committee hearing, on the Lawfare trial of Donald Trump in New York, to outline Rep. Dan Goldman’s (D-NY) conflict of interest.
Goldman has hired Judge Merchan’s daughter – a clear conflict of interest. Additionally, Goldman has admitted to coaching Trump witness Michael Cohen prior to his testimony. Harriet Hageman outlined the details of the issue, while Stacey Plaskett (D-VI) claimed an immediate point of order in order to hide the information. WATCH:
During the same committee hearing, Hageman also outlined the larger Lawfare attack as constructed by Judge Merchan to assist the Lawfare goals.
During the first press conference Wilders announced he’ll be introducing the “toughest immigration policy the nation has ever seen”.
His party, the PVV, will govern with 3 other centrist and moderately right-wing parties.
They reached an agreement that included the abolishment of indefinite asylum permits. Another big promise is that asylum seekers who have been rejected will be “deported as much as possible, including by force.” Also, status holders will no longer be given priority in the allocation of social housing. Automatic family reunification will also be scrapped.
Furthermore, the government will “seek permission” from the European Commission to opt out from the European asylum and migration policy.
With regards to the farmers: the government pledges to “pull out all the stops” to change the European directives targeting farmers.
The coalition wants no forced shrinkage of livestock. Nor should there be any forced expropriation. However, they think there still should be “generous voluntary buyouts” and full commitment to innovation in agriculture.
Other measures include lowering taxes, building 100.000 new houses per year, making childcare effectively free and many more.
Of course, nothing in politics is ever perfect: For instance, we’ll continue to send support Ukraine and the government won’t deviate from the already established climate goals – but it is absolutely a huge step in the right direction.
