A Somali source in Maine offers this explainer on the clan dynamics unfolding in Maine/U.S. politics:
The Darood clan dominates Somali political representation in Maine but by population, other clans have massive presence but for some reasons the Darood LOVE power. People including figures like Ilhan Omar, Deqa Dhalac, Yusuf Yusuf, Omar Fateh, Safiya Khalid, Abdullahi Ali are from the same sub-clans of Darood (Ogaden and Majeeteen). In Somalia, however, the Darood are just one of the four major clans—alongside Hawiye, Rahanweyn, and Dir—without overall dominance.
Somali immigrants from these other clans, particularly in Minnesota’s large diaspora, have grown resentful of Darood’s rising influence in U.S. politics. For instance, when Nasri Warsame (non-Darood) ran for office in Minneapolis back in 2021, Darood-aligned groups reportedly blocked him and supported an Indian-born woman instead, preferring a non-Somali over someone from a rival clan.
This intra-clan rivalry has led Hawiye, Rahanweyn, and Dir members—including those from Somaliland (which flies its own flag and seeks independence from Somalia)—to back non-Somali candidates. They supported Jewish incumbent Jacob Frey for mayor over a Somali opponent from a different clan, prioritizing clan loyalty over ethnic or religious solidarity. So yeah haha many Somalis voted for the Jew over a Muslim Somali. Go figure
The most powerful clan in USA is Jewish Supremists. Their origin, emotions and clan structure have the same roots as every other clan that immigrates to USA and pursues its own interests to the detriment of others.
Western civilization is different from the entire rest of the world due to the Catholic church deliberately destroying European clans.
From that arose the most creative civilization in world history and a large community of peoples who were able to cooperate by trusting each other. ABN
Revolutions are funny things. They start out almost imperceptible. The final straw itself may be as inconsequential as a single voice in the crowd whose words unleash a tidal wave that sweeps aside the seemingly intractable old order forever.
Even as the cracks in the Eastern Bloc began to materialize in 1989, starting in June in Hungary, Nicolae and Elena Ceausescu’s Romania seemed impervious to the winds of change. They maintained a cult-like grip on power aided by the notorious and ubiquitous Securitate, the secret police.
On 21 December 1989 Ceausescu decided that the best way to quell a bubbling cauldron of unrest in Transylvania over the past several weeks was to appear, himself, with his wife Elena, above Bucharest’s Palace Square. Workers were bussed in and given red banners to wave in support of the regime. It was to be a show of force that would solidify the existing order.
After all, no one would dare challenge Ceausescu to his face.
As he confidently approached the microphone from the balcony and began mechanically repeating the tired old slogans of communism, suddenly a voice broke through with a high pitched scream, followed by an increasing din. The discordant sounds of protest rendered Ceausescu speechless and confused.
That second, when the false edifice of his rule was punctured and the impossibility of his position exposed, communist rule died in Romania.
Something like America’s ‘Ceausescu Moment’ is definitely happening.
I am not so sure the query pictured above is that ‘moment’. But at some point recently, the tide has turned, deeply and cannot be called back.
Many of us have been hoping to live during this moment, some of us for many decades.
Many smaller tides have contributed to this momentous tide — the collapse of the climate hoax, the covid hoax, the vax hoax, the woke hoax, the MAGA failure to avoid entanglement in the Gaza slaughter and more.
The mind-control machine has broken.
Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens and Nick Fuentes are the immediate manifestation of the broken machine.
But many tens of millions stand with them and behind them. The lies cannot continue and many of us know this.
Time will tell how matters develop from here.
The people and their voices are always the bottom line, which even the ruling elite cannot ignore. ABN
The commissioning of the first supercarrier into service in the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Navy has for the first time in over 80 years provided a service outside the U.S. Navy with a peer level carrier capability, with the warship being a close competitor to the latest generation of American carriers the Gerald Ford class ships.
A comparison of the capabilities of the Fujian, and the sole American next generation supercarrier in service the USS Gerald Ford, provides valuable insight into the current standing of the Chinese carrier program.
The clearest difference between the two ships is that the Gerald Ford is approximately 17.5 percent larger, displacing 100,000 tons compared to the Fujian’s 85,000 tons, and having four catapult launch systems for aircraft where the Fujian has three, which allows the American ship to generation sorties approximately 33 percent faster.
Chinese People`s Liberation Army Navy Supercarrier Fujian
A second clear difference is the ships’ propulsion systems, with the Gerald Ford using twin A1B nuclear reactors that generate electricity through steam-driven turbines, where the Fujian uses the world’s first Medium-Voltage Direct Current (MVDC) integrated power system ever integrated onto an aircraft carrier, which provides revolutionary improvements to efficiency.
The use of nuclear propulsion systems provides the Gerald Ford with a significantly greater endurance, and is expected to allow it to sustain its maximum speeds for significantly longer. Nuclear propulsion nevertheless imposes very significant additional costs and maintenance requirements, and extends the servicing time for the ships considerably, meaning the Fujian is not only significantly less costly to produce and to operate, but will also likely be able to spend a much greater portion of its time in service at sea.
The Fujian’s choice of power system appears well suited to the ship’s primary role of safeguarding Chinese interests in East Asia, where the Gerald Ford was designed to project power across the globe.
I am an economic nationalist. To me, the country comes before the economy; and the economy exists for the people. I believe in free markets, but I do not worship them. In the proper hierarchy of things, it is the market that must be harnessed to work for man – and not the other way around. — Pat Buchanan
Top members of Donald Trump’s White House are reportedly living in homes typically reserved for top military brass in Washington, D.C. as they pull back from neighborhoods where their presences were often targeted for protests by the many Democrats who make the Capital region their homes.
Stephen Miller and Secretary of State Marco Rubio recently joined a growing list of Trump Cabinet secretaries and advisers who’ve chosen to live in reserved military housing, with Rubio moving onto “Generals Row” in Fort McNair and Miller also living in the area after abandoning his digs in Arlington, The Atlantic reported.
They join Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, who moved into military housing earlier this year, and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, who is alone among his compatriots in finding some precedent for his decision to move onto Generals Row alongside Rubio.
White House and administration officials gave security concerns as the reasons for the arrangements; one other senior White House official, whose identity was not named by The Atlantic, is also in a similar arrangement due to “security concerns related to a specific foreign threat,” said officials.
This could presage strong military moves against domestic ‘terrorists’ and/or concerns secret military cells which entered USA under Biden are expected to launch domestic attacks.

I don’t blame US officials for moving into safer neighborhoods.
It’s a reminder all of us should be prepared for possible chaos and violence.
I am not betting on it, but preparing now is prudent and wise. ABN
