Paris Olympics admits opening ceremony drag show was based on ‘Last Supper’
A Paris 2024 Olympics spokesperson admitted the controversial drag show version of “The Last Supper” seen in Friday’s opening ceremony was indeed inspired by the iconic da Vinci mural — despite attempting to vehemently deny it following fierce backlash.
“Thomas Jolly took inspiration from Leonardo da Vinci’s famous painting to create the setting,” an Olympics spokesperson admitted to The Post in a statement on Saturday, referring to the opening ceremony creative director.
“He is not the first artist to make a reference to what is a world-famous work of art. From Andy Warhol to ‘The Simpsons,’ many have done it before him,” the statement continued.
I like looking at the Daily Mail and NY Post to keep in touch. Each publication often runs very good stories in the midst of everything else they run. Right now, I am going to switch from mainly looking at the Daily Mail to mainly looking at the NY Post for that kind of material. The reason I am switching is the Daily Mail has for some time been writing every headline as a clickbait tease. They provide a hint and expect you to click to find out what’s inside. I can’t stand that and plan to stop spending more than a few seconds on that publication. Historically, most religions have ‘Rendered unto Caesar the things that are Caesar’s, and unto God the things that are God’s’, which typically translates into allowing political authorities to do as they please with little or no objection. At some levels, this is a good way to think and behave, but like all short phrases this attitude or belief can sometimes be deeply misguided. At the end of the day if you are totally defeated, then render unto Caesar. If the matter is of small importance, render unto Caesar. But when Caesar becomes an all-seeing, Satanic panopticon who is killing large numbers of people, it is no longer right to render unto him. We passed that point in the West on 9/11 if not much earlier. Since the Obama presidency, when IC began directly spying on political opponents and is now using that information to punish them, it is obvious we the plebs must at least resist, at least speak up when an opportunity presents. Even simply honestly filling out a post-treatment medical survey takes some courage, but if many of us do stuff like that, we will collectively develop the courage to do more. We do not need to be obstreperous, but we do need to let people know where the uncrossable lines are. During covid, Christians stood stronger than anyone else, including Buddhists, atheists, Jews, Muslims, and more. Out of one million American doctors, only about 500 spoke and acted against the the terrible anti-science covid dictates. And of those 500, the majority were Christians. ABN

In contrast, Solzhenitsyn’s Two Hundred Years Together, which is a detailed account of Jews in Russia and especially as central actors within the Bolshevik coup and Soviet government, does not to this day have an official English translation. You can find PDF copies on the internet, but otherwise the book has been assiduously suppressed. The moment it was published in Russia, Solzhenitsyn’s reputation in the West fell overnight from great laudatory heights into total disrepute, for obvious reasons. Owens can get away with what she is saying—and it should be said often enough for everyone to know about it—because she is black, not white. I hope that next she will investigate the sociopathic Arenda System, which enslaved Eastern European serfs for centuries. According to most media reports, the conversation took place on Monday the first day of the RNC convention, prior to President Trump announcing JD Vance as his vice-presidential running mate. Further reports indicate President Trump and RFK Jr also met in Milwaukee later on.
Apparently, this recorded conversation was leaked by the Kennedy clan after RFK JR and President Trump met in person. A really low-brow and underhanded move by the people around RFK Jr.
The intention of the leak is to ensure there is no national “coming together” between Donald Trump and Robert F Kennedy Jr. Therein lies the core of what many people will pretend not to accept. The tribalism of clans is generational and forms the root of their identity.

China constructs secret Tajikistan military base amid fears of Taliban
China is constructing a secret military base in Tajikistan, satellite images reveal, as it seizes on the rising threat to security posed by Taliban-ruled Afghanistan.
Beijing has been building the base in one of the most remote corners of the world for almost a decade. China signed a security pact with Tajikistan in 2016.
The facility, carved out of mountains that rise 13,000ft high, has look-out towers and troops from both countries, which now hold regular joint military drills shown on Chinese state media.
Neither government has publicly acknowledged the existence of the base, which extends a former Soviet outpost. But the images show a steady pace of construction, including access roads to the base.
China has sought to expand its military footprint on all its borders, notably pushing into Indian territory in the Himalayas.
Concern is rising that Beijing plans to do the same in neighbouring nations, as it boosts relations with Tajikistan at a time when Russia, its usual economic and security partner, is embroiled in its invasion of Ukraine.
On July 4, president Xi Jinping cemented growing ties with Tajikistan in his third state visit.
“The situation is that of a vacuum, and the vacuum is filled by China,” said Parviz Mollojonov, a political scientist and acting country director for International Alert, a UK-based NGO that promotes peace.
“Since the deterioration of the situation in Afghanistan, China uses the concern of the Tajik government to build in the security sector.”

….Most educated Romans were eclectic in their philosophical opinions, but the most influential school was Stoicism. It had the favor of Cicero at the end of the Republic, and of Marcus Aurelius at the zenith of the Empire. That Stoics professed a form of monotheism is beyond discussion. In a famous Hymn to Zeus, Stoic philosopher Cleanthes (third century BC) called God “Nature’s great Sovereign, ruling all by law,” to whom men must turn their minds in order to live “the noble life, the only true wealth.” Cleanthes prayed that people who do evil by ignorance can be enlightened: “Scatter, O Father, the darkness from their souls.”
It is said that Stoics confused God with the Cosmos or with Nature, and for that they have been labelled in modern times as “pantheists”. But we must be careful with Greek words and their translations: Kosmos means “order”, implying an “Intelligent Design”, and Nature (Phusis) has a dynamic meaning: it is the animating principle within Nature.
Greeks and Romans, however, did not pretend to know God, even less what God wants, what God says, or what God likes. Such anthropomorphism was acceptable for gods, not for God. God is, for the philosopher, the unknowable, or at least the unspeakable, since saying anything about God was putting a limitation on the infinite. This, we may call philosophical humility, which contrasts with theological arrogance.
But if God is unknowable, the laws by which He rules the Cosmos are partly accessible to human science. These laws constitute a sort of intermediate principle, the creative thought or wisdom of God, called Logos in Platonic tradition, sometimes identified as the feminine Sophia, the Wisdom of God. The fact that the universe is ruled by natural laws is proof of the existence of God, according to Cicero (Of the nature of gods II.12.34):
For when we gaze upward to the sky and contemplate the heavenly bodies, what can be so obvious and so manifest as that there must exist some power possessing transcendent intelligence by whom these things are ruled?
…We must remember that the struggle between Rome and Jerusalem is a central dialectical force in ancient history. This reality has been largely underestimated in Western historiography, heir to a Christian civilization whose vocation was to reconcile Rome and Jerusalem.
Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano Refuses Vatican Summons
Archbishop Carlo Maria Vigano has refused to obey a summons to the Vatican, and has restated that he does not recognize Pope Francis as the head of the Catholic Church, the Catholic News Agency reported on Friday.
“As I stated in my Communiqué of June 20, I do not recognize the authority of the tribunal that claims to judge me, nor of its Prefect, nor of the one who appointed him. This decision of mine, which is certainly painful, is not the result of haste or a spirit of rebellion; but rather is dictated by the moral necessity which, as Bishop and Successor of the Apostles, obliges me in conscience to bear witness to the Truth, that is, to God Himself, to Our Lord Jesus Christ,” Vigano’s statement begins.
Vigano is facing charges of schism due to his denial of the legitimacy of Francis as the Pontiff and rejection of the doctrines set forth during the Second Vatican Council.
Schism is a crime within the church. The Code of Canon Law defines “schism” as “the withdrawal of submission to the supreme Pontiff or from communion with the members of the church subject to him.”
The archbishop has accused the Pope of “heresy and schism” over his endorsement of COVID-19 vaccines, the “promotion of sodomy and gender ideology,” and the “climate fraud,” which Vigano describes as “a mad neo-Malthusian superstition engendered by those who, hating the Creator, cannot help but also detest creation, and man along with it, who is made in the image and likeness of God.”
Strong warning of war between Israel and Hezbollah— UN Sec Gen Guterres
The world is on the brink of a catastrophe, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres said on Friday, pointing to the risks of a potential devastating conflict between Israel and Hezbollah.
The head of the Shia militia, Hassan Nasrallah, warned on Wednesday that Hezbollah is prepared for a full-scale conflict with Israel and could invade the Jewish state’s northern territories in case of further escalation.
The statement came after one of the group’s senior commanders, Hajj Sami Taleb Abdullah, was killed in an Israeli strike on southern Lebanon last week.
“One rash move – one miscalculation – could trigger a catastrophe that goes far beyond the border, and frankly, beyond imagination,” the UN secretary general told reporters at a press conference, adding that “the world cannot afford Lebanon to become another Gaza.” He called on both sides to “urgently recommit” to peace.
The instinctive refusal of the masses to recognize themselves as victims of a true and proper crime against humanity does not, however, remove the evidence of the intentions of the perpetrators of this crime.
