SNL is excoriated for its ‘tone-deaf’ and ‘shoddy’ takedown of House anti-Semitism hearings… as it’s revealed ex-star PULLED OUT of controversial sketch despite rehearsing

  • Former SNL star Strong was set to play Rep. Elise Stefanik in the sketch
  • Strong was replaced by newcomer Chloe Troas following a dress rehearsal
  • The skit, aired on Saturday, has been widely condemned for missing the mark

SNL displayed gruesome humor and those presidents deserve to be kicked out. That said, constant American hand-wringing over purported instances of nonviolent antisemitism since 10/07 is a study in misdirection, designed to distract the public from the ongoing genocide in Gaza. Netanyahu openly compares Palestinians to Biblical Amalek and openly advocates treating them the same, which to his ilk means kill all of them including women and children. Furthermore, there can be little doubt that Israeli authorities knew of the 10/7 raid and Let It Happen On Purpose if not Made It Happen On Purpose. Consider the morality of that in light of the aftermath. ABN

Religious Leaders Join UN, WEF To Push the Global Climate Agenda

Deep in a Cambodian old-growth forest, Buddhist “ecology monks” wrap trees in saffron clerical robes before ordaining the trees into the Buddhist faith.

The practice is an example of “forest activism” that spread to Cambodia after Thai monks in the 1990s began ordaining trees as they would a new monk.

Ordained trees become sacred and protected from illegal logging because harming an ordained monk is taboo in the Buddhist religion.

The recognition that religion can be a powerful tool when applied to selling the global warming narrative has been gaining traction at the United Nations and the World Economic Forum (WEF), where faith has traditionally been kept at arm’s length.

The globalist agencies are now welcoming help from religious leaders fighting climate change, one of the 17 U.N. sustainable development goals for 2030.

But some religious leaders are alarmed by their colleagues’ involvement in the climate debate.

Virtually all religions can be understood, in part, as rulebooks for slaves. Each one has been coopted, transformed, or created by powerful leaders to subjugate their populations. This includes Buddhism which was abridged by Ashoka and tailored to pacify and control his subjects. Confucianism is similar. In the early Han Dynasty it was declared the state doctrine and has functioned as a hierarchical quasi-religion ever since. All of the Abrahamics also encourage slavish obedience in their various ways. I believe our world religions should NOT bow to the WEF but rather should figure out how to stop WEF. ABN

UPDATE: The obedient/ surrender side of religion is not all bad. It is good when we surrender to benevolent higher beings or powers; when we surrender to the dictates of our consciences, to reason, to moral and ethical soundness. Buddhism is a dynamic, always-evolving tradition. It was not written in stone. This is why Buddhism can easily accept any and all good science, technology, new ideas, new takes on politics, history, psychology. It is no accident that some of the best psychological treatments today are derived from Buddhism. The core of all Buddhist teaching is the Three Dharma Seals—impermanence, no-self or emptiness, and nirvana. If a teaching has those Three Dharma Seals or does not contradict them, it is good Buddhism. If it does not, it is not Buddhism even you think you heard a Buddha say it.

There is nothing in Buddhism which should cause us to surrender to the dictates of WEF, WHO, or the UN. In fact, there is much in Buddhism that should cause us to oppose those totalitarian institutions. This human realm is characterized by delusion and suffering, as can easily be seen today. But that does not mean we can do nothing about it. Buddhist compassion and wisdom require of us some effort to help others while we help ourselves. That said, in some cases extreme withdrawal from the world can be beneficial for individuals and others.

It is not good to divide the Buddhist community or speak in a way that divides it. With this in mind, I want to add that I am disappointed in the many Buddhist groups who bowed to the covid vaxxes and encouraged others to do the same. These behaviors lacked wisdom and were not compassionate. They were slavish, bow to the emperor, thoughtless behaviors. No religion did well with covid totalitarianism, but from what I saw, Christianity did the best. Most of the doctors, scientists, and clergy who stood tall and resisted covid anti-science were Christians. Buddhists can find sympathetic joy in their actions and, I hope, emulate them when the next jackboot starts to fall on us.

Climate-change anti-science is a similar ruse to seize control of the world. I deeply hope Buddhist clergy and lay practitioners will rise against it in great numbers. A strong Buddhist non-violent but heard-by-many reaction to this globalist power-grab will serve all sentient beings in this realm while also furthering the beneficial influence of our community. In five years, I hope I can look back and praise Buddhists as I have praised Christians today. ABN

Vatican Confirms Ban on Catholics Becoming Freemasons

VATICAN CITY (Reuters) – The Vatican has confirmed a ban on Catholics becoming Freemasons, a centuries-old secretive society that the Catholic Church has long viewed with hostility and has an estimated global membership of up to six million.

“Active membership in Freemasonry by a member of the faithful is prohibited, because of the irreconcilability between Catholic doctrine and Freemasonry,” the Vatican’s doctrinal office said in a letter published by Vatican media on Wednesday.

The department, known as the Dicastery of the Doctrine of the Faith, issued its opinion, dated Nov. 13 and countersigned by Pope Francis, in response to a bishop from the Philippines alarmed by the growing number of Freemasons in his country.

The Unspoken Elephant in the Room of Netanyahu’s Intent in Gaza

Is this punishment on Gaza’s civilian population, prompted by desire for vengeance? Or is it an outpouring of eschatological rage and determination?

The point about the Gaza crisis is that should everyone agree to stick their head in the sand and ignore the ‘elephant in the room’, it’s easy enough so to do. The meaning to a severe crisis is only properly understood when someone notices ‘the elephant’, and says look out; there’s an elephant stamping here. That’s where we are today. Slowly, the West is beginning to take notice. The rest of world however, is transfixed by it, and is being transformed by it.

What is the ‘elephant’ (or elephants) in the room? Blinken’s recent regional diplomacy was ‘a bust’. None of the regional leaders that Blinken met would talk further about Gaza beyond demanding stridently, ‘no Palestinian population displacement into Egypt’ a ‘stop to this madness’ – the carpet bombing of Gazans – and the demand for an immediate ceasefire.

And Biden’s calls for a ‘pause’ – softly, at first, and the more strident now – is being bluntly ignored by the Israeli government. The spectre of President Carter’s impotence during the Iran hostage crisis hangs ever more soberly in the backdrop.

The truth is that the White House cannot force Israel to do its will – the Israeli lobby holds more clout in Congress than any White House team. Thus, ‘no exit’ from the Israeli crisis is readily to be seen. Biden ‘made his bed’ with the Netanyahu cabinet and must live with consequences.

Impotence then, as the Democratic Party fractures beyond the simplistic division between centrists versus progressives. The polarisation emanating from the ‘no ceasefire stance’ is having stark destabilising effects on politics, both in the U.S. and Europe.

Impotence then, as the shape of the Middle East crystallises into sharp antagonism towards the West’s perceived accommodation of the mass slaughter of Palestinian women, children and civilians. The die may be too far ‘cast’ to brake the ongoing tectonic reset already underway. Western double standards are just too inescapably obvious now to the Global Majority.

UPDATE: With all respect for Crooke’s position, I do not see any of this situation as being a surprise. The ‘eschatological rage’ he describes is in reality an eschatological plan and a very methodical one at that. ‘Greater Israel’ = planet earth. The Israelis, joined at the hip with American neocons, are going for world domination. One could state that differently to avoid overemphasizing the Jewish component: American neocons, joined at the hip with Israeli and Western neocons, are going for world domination.

The plan was obvious in Ukraine, which was simply the most recent aggression against Russia. It’s obvious in mass migration into Western countries coupled with a slew of other anti-national policies which I see no need to list here. The plan for world domination has been obvious for decades. Today it is glaringly obvious.

Why Crooke and so many others pretend not to see it is either: 1) they fear the wrath of the neocons; 2) know that others fear the wrath of the neocons and thus go along; 3) they are trapped in a conceptual mind-control cage developed by the neocon global aggressors.

The plan is a long range one. Historically it is as old as the Old Testament. In the modern era it is well over one-hundred years old, with an acute stage beginning after WW2. This acute stage has become frenzied, inflamed, even enraged, since 2001.

Western neocons are going for world domination. They have already staked everything on it. If their plan is delayed, which I doubt, the delay will be only temporary. Western neocons are locked into a win-or-lose situation, a kill-or-be-killed situation. They will not and cannot back down. ABN

Tired of this world

I have to admit I am tired of this world. All three Abrahamic religions and all, or most, of their sects are fighting over how to kill or save as many Palestinians as they can, many favor killing.

American and Western neocons are vying with other top players for control of the world. Gaza and Ukraine are stepping stones in that contest.

The low-mindedness and vulgarity of this, both the dramas and the ludicrous rationalizations, are unbearably self-limiting, inexorably destructive.

As individuals we have almost no say in any of it. Social media is a dead zone for thought, truth, decency. The best ideas or inquiries are shadow-banned into a silence worse than death. It’s the neocons doing that as well.

In the Abrahamic traditions there is actually a scriptural basis for genocide dating back some 3,000 years. In this crazy world, actual fighting and killing today in Gaza and Israel is actually based on those scriptures. Doesn’t that actually refute the whole religion, all three branches of it?

Christians run and hide from that conclusion because they have no other vocabulary or conceptual network to fall back on. Faith is good but not blind faith.

Too many voices I had respected are complacent, if not complicit, with the neocon slaughter. I am not surprised. I knew they would be.

Until the MIHOP raid on October 7, they had seemed to me to be maintaining an appearance of diplomacy, preserving their ability to speak to the public as best they could.

I viewed that as a kind of Buddhist upaya, a means to a worthy end.

But when the means are grotesquely disproportionate and violate all moral standards except the most severe, I can’t take it anymore. It’s definitely not a worthy end anymore.

In Ukraine, I read another 100,000 men have been killed over the past months in the obviously futile counteroffensive forced on them by neocons. That too is genocide.

Ukraine has been destroyed by neocons. Half the population has fled forever and many hundreds of thousands, especially young men, have been killed. The neocons provoked that war too and everyone with a brain knows it.

The Gospel of Gaza: What we must learn from Netanyahu’s Bible lessons — Laurent Guyénot

In a speech in Hebrew on October 28, Netanyahu justified the Israeli slaughter of civilians in Gaza with a biblical reference to Amalek.

You must remember what Amalek has done to you, says our Holy Bible. And we do remember. And we fight. Our brave troops and combatants who are now in Gaza and in all other regions in Israel, are joining the chain of Jewish heroes, a chain that has started 3,000 years ago, from Joshua ben Nun, until the heroes of 1948, the Six-Day War, the October 73 War, and all other wars in this country. Our hero troops, they have one supreme main goal: to completely defeat the murderous enemy, and to guarantee our existence in this country.

In Netanyahu’s Holy Bible, God gives his chosen people Palestine, and the same God commands them to exterminate the Amalekites, an Arab people that stands in their way. Yahweh asks Moses to not only exterminate the Amalekites, but to “blot out the memory of Amalek under heaven” (Deuteronomy 25:19).

It was left to Saul to finish them up: “kill man and woman, babe and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and donkey,” Yahweh instructs him (1Samuel 15:8). Because Saul spared the Amalekite king Agag, Yahweh withdrew the kingship from him and drove him mad: “I regret having made Saul king, since he has broken his allegiance to me and not carried out my orders” (15:11). The holy prophet Samuel, who had a direct line of communication with Yahweh, had to butcher Agag himself (“hewed Agag in pieces,” in the Revised Standard Version). Yahweh then gave the kingship to David, who proved a more obedient exterminator, for example when he put the people of Rabba “under saws, and under harrows of iron, and under axes of iron, and made them pass through the brick kiln: and thus did he unto all the cities of the children of Ammon” (2 Samuel 12:31).

I hope this essay will inspire Abrahamic readers to reflect on the actual words and meanings in the Old Testament. I respect all moral religious peoples of all faiths but am also aware that for many religion is a cult, sometimes a dangerous cult of Satanic violence. The ancient Greek, then Christian, and sometimes Jewish term that most unites the Abrahamic traditions with Buddhism is logos. If we see God as logos we can also see the Buddha as logos realized on earth and the Buddhist path a kind of worship or reverence for logos. ‘Theologically’, Buddhists are sentient beings who are attracted to the Tathagata-logos. It is their good karma to be drawn toward logos. Others are blind to logos and sometimes repulsed by it.

A core Buddhist teaching is clinging to words is dangerous. The Buddha prohibited writing his teachings down because he did not want them to turn into scriptures that would be worshipped without being understood. This is why Buddhism defines itself as a mind-to-mind teaching. Buddhists who understands the Dharma well enough transmit it mind-to-mind to others who want to learn it. Buddhists do not proselytize or believe others are lost for having different practices. Buddhists respect and support all traditions and practices that encourage wholesome, ethical thoughts and behaviors because they all lead to logos. ABN
