Palantir CEO Alex Karp outlines future of AI race

Palantir CEO Alex Karp appeared at the Reagan National Defense forum, and does a great job advocating for the U.S. to win the artificial intelligence race. Karp believes it is possible to insert “values” into the software at strategic places of connection, and thereby control the outputs. The question within the AI race then becomes, whose values? Ours or our enemies?

In a series of video segments placed onto a Twitter Thread, you get a good sense for what Palantir, Karp, Peter Thiel, Elon Musk and newly appointed White House Czar of AI, David Sacks, are trying to do inside this global race toward artificial intelligence as applied to government systems.

The video segments at the above link provide a decent sense of what Karp thinks and where USA may be headed. Very much worth listening to what he has to say. It’s true we all fear the ominous possibilities AI tech and Palantir may hold for the world. But it is also true, those technologies may produce wonderful outcomes. Karp is very optimistic about the tech (which is his job) and also about USA. I tend to be optimistic in both of those areas myself (not my job) and also believe we would all do well to look favorably on our future and those most in charge of it today — Thiel, Karp, Musk, Trump, RFK, et al. Peter Thiel in his own words

I have not yet watched this but plan to do so. ABN

UPDATE: Due to what I have read and heard, I had expected to dislike this interview and to dislike Thiel himself. My biases were wrong. This interview is framed in Christian terms, primarily referencing Armageddon and the Antichrist. Thiel expressed an abundance of fear of the Antichrist, which he uses as a metaphor for One World Government, a totalitarian dead end. He also fears globalism because it likely will lead to One World Government. He criticizes the ‘cult of liberal academia’. He supports nation states. It was good to hear Thiel—whom many have cast as the Antichrist bringer of a Palantir panopticon—speak seriously about how much he fears precisely that. I do not think he is acting. It is hard to fake the religious and moral sensibilities he expressed. I hope he comes in contact with someone who can guide him into Buddhism so he can expand his horizons. I highly recommend this interview. Thiel is a major figure in our governing elite. I like what he said and am inclined trust him much more than I did before. ABN

Subject: email from Edgar for John Podesta (c/o Eryn): meeting request

Dear John,

Now that you are no longer serving in the White House, I write to you and Eryn requesting our face to face meeting to discuss zero point energy and Disclosure.

Our Quantrek science intuitive has provided us with a few facts about our nonviolent contiguous universe ETI who promote PACIFISM among humans and with whom we work:

1. All true ETI do not inhabit this universe.

2. So-called ETIs inhabit this universe and are in fact just celestials. They are higher in rank then discarnate spirits, even those who are evolved, HOWEVER, THEY JUST MIRROR VIOLENCE ON EARTH, FEELING THREATENED BY CONTAMINATION OF THEIR ABODE.

3. Extrauinversal ETIs on the other hand have long ago evolved past violence, relying on spiritual intelligence to avert destruction.

4. The Phoenix Lights and other sightings have provided ample evidence that Earth has been visited by beings whose intention is purely peace and who have nonviolently hovered over Phoenix and other sites, waiting to be asked to help, when they could most easily have destroyed the city with their uses of consciousness. These sightings have been witnessed by thousands of people in Phoenix alone, including my colleague Terri Mansfield, who will accompany me on our meeting with you.

Please let me now three dates and times that would work for your schedule.

Best regards,

Edgar

Zero-point energy explained; energy from the vacuum

The following quotes are from The Field by Lynne McTaggart. You’re going to want to read this.

There is one giant reservoir of energy we haven’t talked about,’ Hal said. Every quantum physicist, he explained, is well aware of the Zero Point Field. Quantum mechanics had demonstrated that there is no such thing as a vacuum, or nothingness. What we tend to think of as a sheer void if all of space were emptied of matter and energy and you examined even the space between the stars is, in subatomic terms, a hive of activity.

This subatomic tango, however brief, when added across the universe, gives rise to enormous energy, more than is contained in all the matter in all the world. Also referred to by physicists as ‘the vacuum’, the Zero Point Field was called ‘zero’ because fluctuations in the field are still detectable in temperatures of absolute zero, the lowest possible energy state, where all matter has been removed and nothing is supposedly left to make any motion.

Zero-point energy was the energy present in the emptiest state of space at the lowest possible energy, out of which no more energy could be removed – the closest that motion of subatomic matter ever gets to zero. But because of the uncertainty principle there will always be some residual jiggling due to virtual particle exchange. It had always been largely discounted because it is ever-present. In physics equations, most physicists would subtract troublesome zero-point energy away – a process called ‘renormalization’. Because zero-point energy was ever-present, the theory went, it didn’t change anything. Because it didn’t change anything, it didn’t count.

If Boyer were to be believed, it meant that you didn’t need two types of physics – the classical Newtonian kind and the quantum laws – to account for the properties of the universe. You could explain everything that happened in the quantum world with classical physics – so long as you took account of the Zero Point Field.

Hal’s discovery, in a sense, was not a discovery at all, but a situation that physicists have taken for granted since 1926 and discarded as immaterial. To the quantum physicist, it is an annoyance, to be subtracted away and discounted. To the religious or the mystic, it is science proving the miraculous. What quantum calculations show is that we and our universe live and breathe in what amounts to a sea of motion – a quantum sea of light.

What this implies, says Hal, is a ‘kind of self-regenerating grand ground state of the universe’, which constantly refreshes itself and remains a constant unless disturbed in some way. It also means that we and all the matter of the universe are literally connected to the furthest reaches of the cosmos through the Zero Point Field waves of the grandest dimensions.

Report: Tokyo University Used ‘Tiananmen Square’ Keyword to Block Chinese Admissions

The student-led paper for Tokyo University says a graduate program used an HTML trick to prevent mainland Chinese students from applying.

In a bombshell accusation, Todai Shimbum, the student-run paper of Tokyo University, alleges that a graduate admissions site embedded a keyword related to Tiananmen Square for over a year. The goal was apparently to prevent the page from loading in mainland Chinese and thus block Chinese students from attending, the paper alleges.

Todai Shimbun reports that the keyword appeared on the website for graduate admissions to its Computational Biology and Medical Sciences Program (メディカル情報生命専攻). The keyword used was 六四天安門 (roku-shi tenanmon), or “June 4th Tiananmen.” June 4th was the date of the student Tiananmen Square uprising in 1989.

Howard Lutnick and the Commandeering of the Department of Commerce

On November 19, President-Elect Donald Trump announced that Howard Lutnick, CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald and co-chair of his transition team, would be his nominee for Commerce Secretary. Lutnick’s company Cantor Fitzgerald and its subsidiaries are multinational in scope, promote the implementation of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (which have major implications for debt politics and economic activity), and are even directly partnered with foreign state-owned firms that recently came under scrutiny following the release of the contents of the laptop of the current (and recently pardoned) First Son, Hunter Biden.

Lutnick had previously been angling for a job as incoming Treasury Secretary, an unsurprising ambition given Cantor Fitzgerald’s outsized role in the U.S. Treasury market (i.e. the U.S. government debt market) and its relationship to dollar stablecoins, which are rapidly becoming one of the main purchasers of U.S. debt. It is unknown currently why Lutnick was passed over for Treasury, despite endorsement for the position from Elon Musk and RFK Jr., and appointed to Commerce instead. However, Trump’s previous Commerce Secretary, Wilbur Ross, was widely believed to have been given the role to repay a past favor of major significance. In Ross’s case, it was his assistance in rescuing Trump from bankruptcy in the early 1990s. At the time, Ross worked for Rothschild Inc., and when clarifying why the European banking dynasty had bailed out the future President, Ross stated “the Trump name is still very much an asset.” Shortly before, Rothschild Inc. had been bankrolling the entry of Robert Maxwell, intelligence asset for Israel and arguably the Soviet Union, into the American economy, with a specific focus on New York City.

Quantum Leap: Scientists Reveal the Shape of a Single Photon for the First Time

Researchers have developed a new quantum theory that for the first time defines the precise shape of a photon, showing its interaction with atoms and its environment.

This breakthrough allows for the visualization of photons and could revolutionize nanophotonic technologies, enhancing secure communication, pathogen detection, and molecular control in chemical reactions.

Scientists at the University of Birmingham, whose work is featured in Physical Review Letters, have delved into the intricate behavior of photons — individual particles of light. Their research reveals how photons are emitted by atoms or molecules and how their shape is influenced by the surrounding environment.

Quantum Challenges and Breakthroughs

This complex interaction gives rise to infinite possibilities for light to exist and move through its surroundings. However, this vast potential makes modeling these interactions an incredibly difficult challenge—one that quantum physicists have been tackling for decades.

By grouping these possibilities into distinct sets, the Birmingham team was able to produce a model that describes not only the interactions between the photon and the emitter, but also how the energy from that interaction travels into the distant ‘far field’.

Putin’s take on the ‘Oreshnik’ missile system and recent developments

It’s important to listen to their side. It is soooooooooooooooooooooooooo stupid for US/NATO to be provoking this fight. In doing so, cabal has been weakening the West by risking war, while also preventing a strengthening of the West by preventing good relations with Russia. Only an enemy of the West would do that. Intelligent Western statesmen loyal to the West would have forged a solid, mutually beneficial alliance with Russia at least fifteen years ago, if not 30. Instead, we kept Ukraine in an undeveloped state captured by oligarchs whom we allowed to exploit it and worse. ABN

Technology and human transformation

Most fundamental changes in human societies happen due to technological advances.

The next big change in human psychology will come from inexpensive, very sensitive brain scans.

These scans will show millions people in real-time how their brains are actually behaving and reacting. Presently unnoticed or concealed twinges of emotion will become conspicuously visible on a screen or within a hologram that surrounds our heads.

People will be able to use this technology in the company of a computer program or with a human partner. A good AI program will use brain-scan information to reveal much about us. We will learn stuff about how we actually function that very few are aware of today.

Having this knowledge will change the way we understand ourselves and our interactions with others. Rather than work almost exclusively with the vague stories we tell ourselves, we will be able to see how our brains (and bodies) actually function in real time.

The difference between our stories and how we actually function is very great. Great enough to completely change the landscape of what we now think of as human psychology.

There already exist inexpensive EEG rigs that are sort of good at measuring moods and honesty. There are also expensive ones with more capacity. Within a decade or two, these devices will be much better. An accurate lie-detector will surely be included in the consumer package.

This technology will rewrite our understanding of human psychology and remake the ways we think of human society today. If you want to get a head start on the future, learn how to do FIML now.

KTM may be sold

KTM has been in trouble for a while now. But in its most recent financial statements, it seemed as if with a little restructuring, more layoffs, and a few changes to its lineup, things would likely even out in the next year or so. Sure, it’d be rocky ahead, but the brand’s parent company, Pierer Mobility AG, would be on firmer footing soonish.

That’s, apparently, absolutely not the case.

Just a few weeks after Pieirer released its Q3 financials, ones that denoted a serious drop in revenue and an increase in acquired debt (welcome to the family, MV Agusta!), the brand released another statement essentially saying, “We’re truly and properly screwed if we don’t find a substantial cash infusion.” So yeah, I think KTM, as well as GasGas, Husqvarna, and the newly acquired MV Agusta, might get sold in the coming months if not weeks…

The plandemic boosted motorcycle and bicycle sales, but the trend has not continued. Motorcycles are technologically better by far than years ago but they also cost more and new riders may not understand the value of the added tech or know how to use it. ABN
