Nvidia just dropped a bombshell: Its new AI model is open, massive, and ready to rival GPT-4
Nvidia has released a powerful open-source artificial intelligence model that competes with proprietary systems from industry leaders like OpenAI and Google.
The company’s new NVLM 1.0 family of large multimodal language models, led by the 72 billion parameter NVLM-D-72B, demonstrates exceptional performance across vision and language tasks while also enhancing text-only capabilities.
“We introduce NVLM 1.0, a family of frontier-class multimodal large language models that achieve state-of-the-art results on vision-language tasks, rivaling the leading proprietary models (e.g., GPT-4o) and open-access models,” the researchers explain in their paper.
By making the model weights publicly available and promising to release the training code, Nvidia breaks from the trend of keeping advanced AI systems closed. This decision grants researchers and developers unprecedented access to cutting-edge technology.

The technology discussed in the video may be the basis of a super-weapon possessed by USA which would account for the brashness and apparent incompetence of USA, which is clearly pushing for WW3. MASSACHUSETTES: Ballot Question 4 on ‘natural psychedelic therapy’
Question 4 is a citizen-led ballot question supported by military veterans, doctors, caregivers, and others who are affected by our mental health crisis. The measure will create a carefully regulated therapeutic program for adults to access natural psychedelic medicines that show promise for treating serious mental health conditions.
Under Question 4, natural psychedelic medicine therapy will be administered under the supervision and guidance of a trained, licensed professional at regulated therapy centers. Retail sales of psychedelic medicines will not be permitted.
Voting Yes on Question 4 will give veterans, patients with end-of-life distress, and people who are suffering access to this life-saving mental health tool.
I support this and do not believe it violates the Fifth Precept. Moreover, psychedelics can valuably be used for more than just ‘serious mental health conditions’. They can also be life-enhancing for people who may not be aware there is more to the mind than the drudgery of being ‘normal’. It is not the job of government to tell citizens which plants they can grow and use. Laws against them are counterproductive due to denying citizens valuable experiences while also exposing them to dangerous substances fraudulently sold as natural psychedelics. For Buddhists, soma and psychedelics were widely available in the Buddha’s day and he never said a word against them. ABN

Solar panels only convert 6-20% of the energy they absorb into electricity. The rest is converted to heat. The heat radiates back out into the environment and rises into the atmosphere. Theoretically, this could impact the weather.
Solar panels require toxic chemicals such as Lead, Cadmium, Arsenic, Hexafluoroethane, Polyvinyl fluoride to produce. Some panels release Nitrogen trifluoride which is magnitudes worse for atmosphere than carbon dioxide.
Toxic solar ewaste represents a growing problem. Only about 10% of solar panels are being recycled. It is estimated 78 million metric tons of solar panels will have reached the end of their life by 2050.
The only thing green about solar is the money being used to line corrupt pockets.
There is never a need for a ‘mole’ or ‘leaker’ to spy on President Trump because the NSA DATABASE is openly being exploited by officials within the IC, DHS, FBI and DOJ-NSD
…there is never a need for a “mole” or “leaker” inside any aspect to President Trump or confidential communication. In fact, it is more than likely President Trump himself does not know the details of the schedule his staff is organizing well in advance.
In the modern era, you must keep in mind the ability of the surveillance state to extract information without the need for moles or insiders. The era of leaked information vulnerability, or what I would appropriately put under the qualifier of “attack vector,” within the non-government sector is long past.
Quite simply, with the NSA database openly being exploited by officials within the IC, DHS, FBI and DOJ-NSD, there is no need for leaking. All electronic information, emails, text messages, chats, electronic communication (metadata writ large) is available to those with database access for immediate surveillance. The fourth amendment is no longer in play.
The Dept of Justice – National Security Division (DOJ-NSD) has spent an exhaustive amount of time framing all of the legal ramifications targeting President Trump as “national security” issues. Under this unilateral justification, any/all communication within the orbit of President Trump is subject to interception and review. The DOJ-NSD and FBI do not need “moles” they have direct portal access to Trump communication.
If there was any structural guidance around the issue of ‘schedules’ to any of the Trump attackers, from inside government agencies, the information likely came from direct surveillance of the Trump campaign. Not from any leak within the campaign itself.

The only ‘realistic’ hope I can see for our human mundane future is digital babies leading to consciously controlled digital evolution, which even if it is not wise or entirely humane may work in the end simply because whole populations of people 3X smarter than anyone who has ever lived would probably understand the value of morality and probably be better able than us to agree what it is and live by it.
Consciously controlled digital evolution would work sort of like IVF today but with vastly more choices. Within 100 years it is probable people will be able to genetically augment their own gametes enough to produce children that are mostly the same as them, or at least built on their genetic framework, but vastly smarter, healthier, and better looking. This technology does not need to be coercive. Who would refuse to remove genetic illnesses from their bloodlines while also doubling IQ and athletic ability? ABN

How Israel struck at the heart of Hezbollah: Secret Service ‘built pagers from scratch using shell companies that had been making and shipping them to Lebanon for YEARS in preparation for attack’
The Israeli secret service didn’t just tamper with the deadly Hezbollah pagers — they made them from scratch, having set up a complex web of shell companies across Europe, it was claimed today.
Initially it was suspected that Mossad had managed to intercept and plant tiny bombs in a shipment of the pagers headed for the Iranian-backed terror group in Lebanon after thousands of people were injured and dozens killed.
But now it appears that the Israelis set up front companies across Europe to manufacture the pagers themselves, embedding small amounts of PETN explosive inside, ready to be detonated by a coded message.

A pager bomb attack that left roughly 2,800 Hezbollah members and civilians injured and nine dead in Lebanon and Syria yesterday was authored by Israel‘s Mossad spy agency and the IDF, several security sources claim.
The Lebanese group earlier this year ordered thousands of pagers to conduct communications after leader Hassan Nasrallah declared smartphones would be more susceptible to cyber attacks by Israeli forces.
Israeli military and intelligence personnel managed to access 5,000 pagers ‘at the production level’ and insert a small amount of high explosives months before they were imported to Lebanon, according to several security sources who spoke to Reuters.
‘The Mossad injected a board inside of the device that has explosive material that receives a code. It’s very hard to detect it through any means. Even with any device or scanner,’ a Lebanese security source said.
The source claimed Hezbollah ordered the pagers from a Taiwanese company called Gold Apollo, but executives there said the devices were actually manufactured and sold under licence by BAC Consulting in Budapest, Hungary.

Official Lebanese Health Ministry figures are that nine people were killed in the simultaneous pager explosions, including a young girl, and some 2,750 wounded. The Lebanese government has identified “Israeli aggression” as being behind the attack, while Hezbollah also says it holds Israel “fully responsible”. Israel has yet to issue official comment, but there are several reports from the region that war preparations are underway. There are reports of evening Israeli shelling of Hezbollah positions in south Lebanon.
Israel’s Channel 14 is reporting that “senior Israeli military officials are preparing for a third Hezbollah war which is expected to begin almost immediately.” The US State Department has said the US “was not aware of this operation and was not involved” in the attack. The Biden administration says it is “still gathering information”.
The WSJ has offered some initial details on the sophisticated attack, which Lebanese and Arabs have condemned as a major ‘terror attack’. “The affected pagers were from a new shipment that the group received in recent days, people familiar with the matter said,” WSJ writes. “A Hezbollah official said hundreds of fighters had such devices, speculating that malware may have caused the devices to explode. The official said some people felt the pagers heat up and disposed of them before they burst.”
And more: “Hezbollah said a number of pagers carried by its members exploded simultaneously at 3:30 p.m. It couldn’t immediately be determined what caused the blasts, which were spread out across the country in several areas where Hezbollah has a heavy presence.”
Israeli media says Mossad rigged the pager batteries of a shipment that was imported five months ago:
