The video captures the sequence of events on January 3, 2026, when a Chinese delegation led by envoy Qiu Xiaoqi met Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro to reaffirm bilateral ties on energy and trade, only for U.S. forces to launch airstrikes and capture Maduro hours later, as announced by President Trump.
The video footage depicts a cordial exchange between Maduro and the envoy, including zodiac sign banter (Maduro as a Tiger, referencing a 2006 meeting with Hu Jintao) and discussions of “unbreakable brotherhood” against U.S. influence, highlighting Venezuela’s strategic pivot toward China for economic support.
Trump’s operation, conducted with Maduro facing U.S. charges on drugs and weapons, serves as a geopolitical statement amid escalating U.S.-China rivalry in Latin America, potentially stalling hundreds of Sino-Venezuelan deals valued at billions in oil and infrastructure investments.
Donald Trump has hailed his ‘brilliant’ operation to capture Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, as Maduro’s deputy demanded proof the leader is still alive.
Speaking to The New York Times at 4:30am on Saturday morning, nine minutes after announcing the raid on his TruthSocial website, Trump said: ‘A lot of good planning and lot of great, great troops and great people.
‘It was a brilliant operation, actually.’ Asked if he had consulted Congress prior to authorizing the strike, Trump said: ‘We’ll discuss that.’
He then told the paper he’d give more details during a press conference scheduled for 11:30 ET from his Mar-a-Lago country club in Palm Beach, Florida.
The article by Ron Unz delves into the interconnectedness of significant historical events, particularly focusing on World War II and the Bolshevik Revolution. Unz posits that mainstream historians often fail to connect crucial dots in historical narratives, leading to an incomplete understanding of these events. He presents a case connecting Joseph Goebbels’ personal crisis stemming from an affair to the instigation of Kristallnacht, which subsequently influenced British policy and ultimately contributed to the outbreak of World War II. This narrative emphasizes how personal and political crises can have far-reaching implications, suggesting that a more nuanced understanding of history requires acknowledging the interplay of personal motivations and larger political frameworks.
Unz continues to explore the assassination of Grigory Rasputin and its role in the Bolshevik Revolution. He critiques traditional historiography for portraying Rasputin as merely a sinister figure without recognizing his significant political influence and the consequences of his death. Historian Sean McMeekin’s analysis highlights that Rasputin was a pivotal figure whose murder destabilized the Czarist regime, contributing to its downfall during the February Revolution of 1917. This analysis suggests that historians have often overlooked the chain of events linking Rasputin’s death to the rise of the Bolsheviks, indicating a need for more comprehensive historical narratives that consider less obvious influences on major political upheavals.
The article also discusses the “Lost Peace of 1916,” where Germany attempted to negotiate a peace settlement during World War I, which was rejected by the Allies. Unz argues that accepting this proposal could have drastically altered the course of history, preventing further loss of life and possibly averting the rise of the Nazis and the subsequent disasters of World War II. He underscores the failure of historians to incorporate this critical moment into wider historical narratives, emphasizing that the refusal of the Allies to consider peace negotiations contributed to the conditions that ultimately led to the Second World War and the punitive Treaty of Versailles, which set the stage for future conflict.
Lastly, Unz examines the Katyn Forest Massacre and its implications during World War II, particularly in relation to the Holocaust. He suggests that the Soviet regime’s involvement in the massacre and the subsequent cover-up reflect a broader pattern of historical narratives that often overlook or misrepresent the complexities of wartime atrocities. The juxtaposition of the timing of the Katyn propaganda campaign and the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising raises questions about the strategic motivations behind these events. Unz posits that the Holocaust’s prominence in historical memory may overshadow other significant atrocities, such as the Katyn Massacre, and argues for a more inclusive approach to understanding the multifaceted nature of historical events, emphasizing that the narratives we construct can significantly influence public perception and memory.
In reading all these different accounts of the international controversy following the discovery of the mass graves at Katyn, I noticed something that none of the authors had highlighted.
Massacres have hardly been unknown during brutal wars and the Soviet government had become especially notorious in that regard. Prisoners captured in battle have sometimes been slaughtered soon afterward.
But no other example in modern history came to my mind in which sizable numbers of captured POWs who had already been held for many months in prison camps were then taken out and summarily executed, each of them individually shot in the back of the head.
When we consider that the dead numbered more than 20,000 and that they constituted the military and civilian elite of Polish society, the Katyn Forrest Massacre must surely have been regarded as the most appalling European war-crime of the last several centuries. Indeed, by some measures this methodical, cold-blooded execution of so many POWs might rank as one of the worst such atrocities in all of recorded history.
Moreover, by the time the facts became known in 1943, the government of the killers and that of their victims had become less than comfortable military allies in the war against Nazi Germany.
On April 13th, German radio began promoting the appalling story, and it soon became their most successful wartime propaganda project. If the hundreds of thousands of Polish troops serving in Allied armies or the millions of Polish-American voters had become fully aware and convinced of those true facts, the entire course of World War II might have followed a very different trajectory…
President Donald Trump is ducking and weaving through the minefield of geopolitical politics, managing a proxy war he did not create that was organized by a corrupt U.S. State Dept./CIA and globalist agenda.
Trump wants the war to end; he wants the U.S. out of it; he wants peace with a fundamental reset of the entire European dynamic, and he wants a strategic relationship with the Russian Federation. However, every element in the proverbial ‘West’ wants exactly the opposite.
Washington DC – the majorities in both parties, most of the European Union and the ‘Western’ military industrial complex stand in opposition to President Trump’s objective. The value of the dollar rests on his ability to navigate this complex geopolitical dynamic. The ‘stakeholders’ are against him. Trump has few allies. This is the challenge.
Do not diminish the scale of the challenge without consideration for the scale of opposition. Russian President Vladimir Putin knows exactly what President Trump is up against; we would be wise to watch with similar patience.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy has been convinced by European leaders, NATO and the Intelligence Community that he has the upper hand. President Trump has only his wits, a strategic perspective and us.
I would add there is also a very heavy Jewish Supremist hand in the Ukraine War, just as there has been in virtually all wars USA and Europe have been engaged in since WW1, if not even before that. Few journalists or bloggers mention the JS role due to intellectual compromise and/or fear of losing readers and/or, possibly, extreme naivete. ABN
There are several obvious reasons this is happening. But the one rarely mentioned mainstream is everyone knows 10/7 was a MIHOP attack, which 1000000% undermines any moral authority Israel has to do mass murder in Gaza. Kelly is no dummy and surely knows this. ABN
Purgatory on earth —— prince group and the dark experiment of “immortality”
The most chilling accusations in this incident focus on Cambodia’s famous Prince Group and its behind-the-scenes boss Chen Zhi Within the area under control. According to the leaked intelligence and related accusations, an agency called the “Life Science Park” operates here, and its business content challenges the bottom line of human civilization.
The accusations show that the core business of the science park is not ordinary medical research and development, but is dedicated to developing so-called “elixir” or “rejuvenation” drugs for the wealthy class. Its core raw material, it is claimed to be Bone marrow and stem cells of infants and young children .
In order to obtain these “raw materials”, the park was accused of establishing an industrial “production line”:
Kidnapping and captivity: A large number of women (mostly Chinese, it is reported) were lured or kidnapped to this point.
Forced breeding: Using in vitro fertilization (IVF) technology, the victim is forced to become pregnant.
Cruel Extraction: When the fetus or baby reaches a specific stage of development, the required biological substances are extracted by extremely cruel means.

Donald Trump‘s son-in-law Jared Kushner and Middle East envoy Steve Witkoff have developed a $112.1billion plan to reinvent the Gaza strip into a luxury destination.
Kushner and Witkoff appear to have a plan to put that idea into practice with ‘Project Sunrise,’ a draft proposal developed over the last six weeks to completely revamp the area.
It pitches expensive ideas like beachside hotel property, high-speed rail and AI-optimized electricity grids, according to WSJ.
Kushner – a veteran of the real estate industry – and Witkoff worked with fellow senior White House aide Josh Greenbaum and consulted with Israeli officials and private contractors.
The draft pitches a $112.1billion cost for the project over the span of a decade, with the US supporting about half of that in grants and debt guarantees.
Thailand is not the aggressor. We’ve always chosen diplomacy. Until Cambodian soldiers planted landmines, causing Thai troops to lose limbs. Then fired BM-21 rockets directly at civil areas, killing many Thai civilians, including children. Thank you for your love and support for Thailand. This time we need it more than ever.

The latest report from Amnesty International, “I Was Someone Else’s Property,” reveals a harrowing reality: at least 53 scam compounds across Cambodia have become hubs of modern slavery, human trafficking, torture, and forced labor. These compounds, often disguised as legitimate tech parks or business centers, are operated by transnational criminal networks with apparent impunity. Victims – lured by fake job ads – are imprisoned, abused, and coerced into defrauding people worldwide through online scams. The report documents how these operations are enabled by systemic corruption, weak law enforcement, and a lack of political will to dismantle the criminal infrastructure.

While Taiwanese citizens are not the largest group affected, they face unique and severe risks due to their international status. In recent raids, dozens of Taiwanese nationals were arrested, and many were wrongly identified as perpetrators rather than victims of trafficking. Without proper screening procedures, these individuals are often treated as criminals and, in some cases, forcibly extradited to China, where they face prosecution and detention under Beijing’s jurisdiction. Taiwan’s lack of formal diplomatic ties with Cambodia further complicates rescue efforts, leaving victims vulnerable and without recourse.
The situation is further exacerbated by the demographics of the victims. Many are extremely young, including minors, who are deceived by fraudulent job advertisements on social media platforms. These ads promise glamorous lifestyles and high-paying, easy work in Southeast Asia. Upon arrival, however, these individuals are stripped of their documents, confined under armed guard, and subjected to physical and psychological abuse. Surveillance systems, armed guards, and barbed wire fences make escape nearly impossible. The betrayal of their aspirations and the trauma of captivity leave lasting scars that are often overlooked in public discourse.
Amnesty International’s findings underscore the Cambodian government’s failure – and in some cases, complicity – in addressing these crimes. The lack of enforcement and accountability has emboldened criminal syndicates, allowing a billion-dollar shadow economy to flourish. Victims are often denied access to justice, and the absence of transparent investigations perpetuates a cycle of impunity.
Cambodian scam parks are a significant factor in the Thai-Cambodia conflict, serving as both a source of economic tension and a strategic target in the ongoing military clashes. The conflict, which reignited in December 2025 after a brief ceasefire brokered by the Trump administration, has seen Thailand conduct air strikes on at least five Cambodian casinos and resorts, which are widely believed to house scam operations These strikes are viewed by Thai officials and the public as a response to the perception that these facilities are hubs for cross-border online scams, which have generated billions of dollars annually and involved widespread human trafficking, forced labor, and torture of victims from Asia, Africa, and Latin America The Thai military’s targeting of these sites is seen as both a security measure and a political signal to the Thai public, demonstrating action against a major perceived threat
The economic stakes are high, as these scam centers are believed to be linked to powerful Cambodian political elites, including the Hun family, and are a major source of illicit revenue Thailand’s proposed legalization of casinos near the border threatens to undermine this lucrative system by reducing the need for money laundering through Cambodian casinos and cutting into their earnings This economic competition, combined with the political fallout from a leaked phone call between Thailand’s acting Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra and Cambodia’s former Prime Minister Hun Sen, has further inflamed tensions The conflict has also been exacerbated by nationalist sentiments on both sides, with the Thai government using the issue to rally public support and Cambodia’s leadership potentially leveraging the conflict to distract from domestic socio-economic challenges
The speaker in the video is Cao Changqing (曹長青), a prominent Chinese dissident, writer, and commentator known for his outspoken criticism of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).This clip features a common argument in anti-CCP dissident circles, comparing the CCP’s historical concessions on territories like Outer Mongolia (citing Guo Moruo’s article) to its fixation on Taiwan—not for territorial reasons, but because Taiwan’s democratic system exposes the authoritarian nature of the CCP regime.Cao frequently appears in exile media and online videos discussing similar themes.
The Taiwan issue actually has nothing to do with the question of unification or independence. Because after the Communist Party seized power, it gave up territory exceeding more than 50 Taiwans. Just Outer Mongolia alone is already roughly 50 Taiwans. At the time when the Communist Party abandoned Outer Mongolia, Guo Moruo was the president of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Mao Zedong’s personal literati. He even wrote an article in the People’s Daily titled “Why We Should Cheer for the Independence of Outer Mongolia.” You can still find that article online. So, if you add in things like the Northeast, it might exceed 100 Taiwans—no exaggeration. Yes, and territories disputed with Kazakhstan, Myanmar, and Vietnam—all of them were completely abandoned by the Communist Party. Therefore, the Taiwan issue is not a territorial problem, nor is it about unification or independence, and it’s not about economics or technology either. The only reason the Communist Party wants to take Taiwan is because Taiwan’s very existence highlights the evil of the Communist Party’s dictatorship.
The U.S. Navy supercarrier USS Gerald Ford and its strike group have repositioned to approximately around 600 kilometres south-southwest of Puerto Rico, placing them within much closer proximity to Venezuela, amid speculation that Washington could initiate attacks on its southern neighbour.
Hours after the ships were repositioned, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth announced the initiation of U.S. ground operations targeting transnational drug cartels operating from within Venezuelan territory.

Venezuela and much of the international community have dismissed reports of drug cartels operating from within the country as a fabricated pretext intended to justify military action, with the intention of either overthrowing the resource rich country’s socialist government by force, or crippling its economy by destroying key infrastructure to complement the effects of escalated economic sanctions.
These developments have occurred shortly after U.S. forces on December 10 boarded and commandeered a Venezuelan oil tanker in international waters, which marked a major escalation in the conflict between the two states.
The confrontation around Taiwan could become the next hot spot on the current unstable geopolitical map of the world. Taiwan’s defense ministry has identified 2027 as the likely time for China’s invasion of the island.
Beijing’s main military power in the conquest of the island should be the navy, which China is actively building up. For example, China puts into operation 20-25 times more warships per year than the Royal Navy of the United Kingdom.

On December 4, 2025, China conducted its largest naval operation in the East China and South China Seas. The operation involved a hundred ships of the navy and coast guard.
A leaked U.S. wargame assessment known as the Overmatch Brief has concluded that the Chinese People’s Liberation Army could sink the U.S. Navy’s new Gerald Ford class supercarriers in a potential conflict over Taiwan.
Multiple simulations showed that Chinese forces could destroy or disable the new carriers in a wide range of ways, and could do so before American air power was able to influence the course of hostilities.
The People’s Liberation Army was shown conducting effective cyber operations and counter-space attacks, complementing the effectiveness of its missile salvoes to degrade U.S. defences surrounding the carrier in the opening phase of combat.
Chinese YJ-18 Anti-Ship Cruise Missiles
Attacks on surveillance and navigation satellites vital to the U.S. Armed Forces’ ability to carry out targeting, routing, and battle management played a key role in the success of Chinese attacks, after which successive waves of anti-ship missiles were able to comfortably exceed the defensive capacity of the multi-layered defences of American carrier groups.
Chinese strikes were shown to have frequently routinely neutralised the Gerald Ford class carrier in question, the USS Gerald Ford, early in the simulations, and did so by combining long-range anti-ship ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, hypersonic glide vehicles, and electronic disruption.
