He also promises to honor Trump’s request to spare the lives of Ukrainian soldiers trapped behind Russian lines. Once you understand the importance of good Russian-American relations, you will understand the game theory Trump and Putin are pursuing despite European stupidity (which is already beginning to shift). Good Russian-American relations are the necessary foundation for a prosperous and peaceful world. See this for more: The Top of the World Alliance. ABN
This is a good talk. Putin expresses reasonable concerns but no deal-breakers. If Zelensky is kept on a very short leash and European war-mongers are kept quiet, there is a very good chance this will move ahead and hostilities will end for good. ABN
Russia is ready for a ceasefire in the Ukraine conflict, President Vladimir Putin has said, stressing that such an agreement “must lead to long-term peace.”
Moscow believes that the “idea” of a ceasefire is the “right one,” Putin told journalists during a joint press conference with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko in Moscow on Thursday. “We absolutely support it,” he added.
“We endorse the idea of resolving the conflict through peaceful means,” the president insisted.
Certain issues still need to be discussed and resolved before a truce can be reached, Putin stated, adding that Moscow particularly needs to discuss them with the US. The dialogue could also require a personal conversation with US President Donald Trump, the Russian leader said.
Concerns listed by Putin included systems of “control and verification” to monitor the ceasefire regime, as well as Kiev’s potential attempts to use the pause in hostilities to rearm and reinforce its troops on the frontline.
“Are 30 days to be used to continue forced mobilization in Ukraine, to supply it with arms and to train the newly [formed] units?” the president stated. “Will there be any guarantees that nothing of that sort will happen?”
The Russian military must defeat the Ukrainian forces that invaded Kursk Region “as soon as possible,” President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday. He visited a command post in the region as Moscow’s forces continue a major counteroffensive against Kiev’s remaining troops in the area.
The president held a meeting with Russian military commanders during his visit and listened to a report by the Chief of the General Staff, Gen. Valery Gerasimov. Putin thanked the General Staff and the units fighting in the region for their efforts.
Russia staged blistering strikes across Ukraine last night just hours after Kyiv signalled it was ready for a ceasefire following talks with the United States.
The massive missile and drone attacks cast doubt on Vladimir Putin‘s willingness to accept Donald Trump‘s demands for peace in the three year war.
Last night the US President said he would talk directly to Putin, telling reporters: ‘It takes two to tango. I hope he will agree.’
US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that Kyiv’s agreement to a 30-day ceasefire, which came after significant pressure from Washington, meant that the ball was now in Moscow‘s court.
‘Now it’ll be up to them to say yes or no. If they say no, then we’ll unfortunately know what the impediment is to peace here,’ Rubio said, adding that the peace plan would be put to the Kremlin this week.
Hardliners in Moscow have called for the Kremlin to reject the proposal.
Russian State Duma Deputy and former armed forces commander Viktor Sobolev said that Russia should not agree to the ‘unacceptable’ 30-day ceasefire, arguing that it would allow Ukraine to rearm and regroup.
Pro-war blogger Boris Rozhin also warned a temporary truce would ‘restore the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ and enable it to ‘receive new supplies of weapons and ammunition’.
TV presenter Olga Skabeeva, one of Russia’s leading propagandists, wrote on Telegram: ‘And what do we get in return?’
Russian senator Konstantin Kosachev, chairman of the upper house’s Foreign Affairs Committee, agreed.
‘Russia is advancing, and therefore it will be different with [us]. Any agreements will be on our terms, not the American ones.
‘And this is not boasting, but an understanding that real agreements are still being written there, at the front.’
JEDDAH, Saudi Arabia, March 11 (Reuters) – Ukraine has agreed to accept a U.S. proposal for an immediate 30-day ceasefire and to take steps toward restoring a durable peace after Russia’s invasion, according to a joint U.S.-Ukraine statement on Tuesday.
The two sides, meeting in Saudi Arabia, also agreed to conclude as soon as possible a comprehensive agreement for developing Ukraine’s critical mineral resources, the statement said.
Approximately 60 drones were launched from Ukraine overnight to attack the Russian capital city of Moscow. This is the largest escalation of drone/missile attacks into Russia so far.
The attack comes, predictably, as Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Nat Sec Advisor Mike Waltz and President Trump envoy Steve Witkoff arrive in Saudi Arabia for preliminary face-to-face talks with Ukraine officials. The pattern repeats.
Each time President Trump’s diplomatic team are scheduled to meet with Russia or Ukraine officials in their quest to stop the bloodshed, the intelligence apparatus in control of the NATO proxy war triggers an escalating disruption targeting Russia.
Hitting Moscow with a wave of 60 drones is a major escalation, because face-to-face meetings with U.S and Ukraine officials are at a critical inflection point. Each uptick in the offensive action from Ukraine is directly proportional to the increased seriousness of the peace talks.
Everyone knows the ‘force’ Carlson refers to is either CIA or Jewish Supremists or a combination of both. What they are hiding is Israel’s and CIA’s roles in the JFK killing and the Epstein espionage and blackmail racket. Carlson implies as much very strongly and gives a loud voice to those who already know. He seems to be doing his best to inform the public, to give them correct information. If Israel is perceived as playing a major if not the major role in the assassination of JFK, gigantic silos of bad information will implode across the world and especially in USA. Epstein videos, if released, would be even more graphic and explosive because they are closer in time and implicate many prominent people who are still alive. The big question today is how long can the powers that be continue hiding this information? The Bondi-Patel standstill alone is proof everyone is cowed, including Trump, or so it seems. Only a very powerful player can keep these lies going. But, the harder they come the harder they fall. ABN
Donald Trump is pressuring Volodymyr Zelensky to accept a raft of new terms if the Ukrainian President wants to end the bloody and protracted conflict with Russia – while admitting the country ‘may not survive anyway.’
The ambitious new terms will be combined with a proposed mineral deal that blew up during tense negotiations that culminated in a public Oval Office spat between Trump, Zelensky, and Vice President JD Vance.
Trump has now upped the ante on his original requests, insiders claim, demanding Zelensky call an election and potentially step down as leader in order to secure military aid and intelligence access from the US.
Trump is also expecting Zelensky to be open to relinquish territory to Russia in the name of striking a peace deal, NBC reports.
‘We want to do anything we can to get Ukraine to be serious about getting something done,’ Trump told reporters on Sunday.
Earlier in the day he was asked about the future of Ukraine and sensationally admitted: ‘Well, it may not survive anyway.’
The huge trio of concessions mark a monumental shift from his initial request, which was for Ukraine to grant the United States a stake in critical mineral resources in exchange for the military aid granted in the fight against the Russian invasion.
While Zelensky has vowed to work with Trump to get a deal over the line, he has repeatedly warned that Russia will ‘wage war’ on NATO and Europe if given the means to do so.
Consider this an escalation once President Trump is briefed. Overnight, someone, claimed by media to be Ukraine, launched a targeted series of drone attacks against the KINEF oil refinery in the Leningrad region of Russia.
The refinery is approximately 800 to 1,000 kilometers from where western intelligence operators are assembled to support Ukraine. This distance means someone within NATO has violated President Trump’s order to withdraw ‘long-range’ targeting system operation, and/or someone within NATO has provided an alternative.
When President Trump stopped “intelligence sharing” with Ukraine, what he technically did was stop allowing Ukraine to use exclusive USA targeting systems controlled by U.S Intelligence, the CIA, the National Reconnaissance Office and the U.S. National Geospatial Intelligence Agency.
These terrain mapping systems, the missile and drone targeting systems, are what military forces inside Ukraine need to carry out offensive drone and missile attacks against Russian forces. However, two drones were launched on the night of Saturday March 8th and were shot down as they approached the KINEF refinery, damaging one external oil tank.
Who launched them, and what targeting system was used?
On Croatian Television channel 4. Vladimir Putin was allowed to speak.
He addressed the Europeans: “Russia has never been and will never be your enemy!
We do not want European raw materials and wealth, we have our own raw materials and wealth, we absolutely do not need your raw materials. Russia is the richest country in the world in terms of raw materials.
We do not want your land or your territory. Look at how wide Russia is on the map. Russia is twice the size of the whole of Europe in one place. What would we need your land for, what do we do with it?
Why do you think Russia is an enemy of Europe? What damage has Russia done to you?
Have we sold you gas and raw materials at lower prices than the prices at which your “friends” are currently selling you? YES
Did Russia sacrifice 20 million people in World War II to get rid of the Nazis? YES
Was Russia the first country to help Europe during the Covid pandemic? YES
Did we help Europe when there were fires and natural disasters? YES
What has Russia done to you that you hate it so much?
Russia is not your enemy; your real enemies are your leaders, those who lead you!”
100%! Russia and Europe are natural allies. It is savage stupidity to pretend otherwise, let alone actively provoke war with Russia. European leaders are very obviously either: 1) complete morons or 2) bribed and blackmailed by a non-European subversive organization that hates both Russians and Europeans. ABN
