Germany has positioned thousands of troops on Russia’s doorstep in the country’s first permanent foreign deployment since WW2.
Europe’s largest economy has set down a 5,000-strong armoured brigade in Lithuania in a bid to bolster Nato’s eastern flank in response to Russia’s war against Ukraine.
The historic move marks a departure from decades of German defence policy which had previously avoided the permanent stationing of combat troops abroad.
The newly-created 45th Armoured Brigade was formally activated in a ceremony on Tuesday outside Lithuanian capital Vilnius.
I focus a bit on Maine because it is a microcosm of what happened in California, then Oregon, Washington and so on. In Maine we can watch the same lefty takeover we saw in CA and OR not that long ago — Soros money, rigged elections, wealthy liberals with second or third home in the state; its largest city already a broken and bloody nose, an ominous sign of what’s coming to the rest of the state. The vessels carry a total of ninety-six (96) missiles in vertical launch cells. The missiles can be of several different types, but the Tomahawk cruise missile, with it’s 1,000+ mile range, is worthy of particular mention because, as shown on the map above, each US destroyer, when equipped with those missiles, has the ENTIRE land area of Mexico within reach.
These cruise missiles are so accurate they can target a particular WINDOW of a particular building from 1000+ miles away, and when the missile arrives, it will go through the center of the window so perfectly, it won’t even touch the window frame. That’s how accurate these things are.
South Korean and US troops simulate an assault on Kim Jong-un’s underground passageways
Robotic dogs could be deployed in underground tunnels to help defeat North Korean troops in battle.
New images show the South Korean army using dog-like robots during military drills with the United States, as the allies train for a potential combat in North Korea’s extensive network of fortified tunnels.
This week roughly 370 troops from the two countries are taking part in a four-day exercise in Paju, close to the border with North Korea, to simulate an assault within Kim Jong-un’s subterranean passageways – an activity considered more critical since the war in Gaza.
Hamas used its network of military tunnels in Gaza to hold hostages, smuggle weapons and enable its leaders to escape.
There are concerns that similar scenarios could unfold in North Korea, which has built a massive network of underground shelters, command centres and weapon stores. The persistent digging has been ongoing since the Korean War decades ago
It will not come as a surprise to CTH readers to hear the name Judge James Boasberg associated with efforts to protect the institutional interests of a corrupt DC deep state. Boasberg has a long, very long, and well documented history of protecting the DC apparatus {CTH Archives on Boasberg HERE}.
On Saturday, without giving the Trump administration any time to respond, Judge Boasberg issued an immediate temporary restraining order (TRO) blocking DHS, Customs and Border Patrol and ICE from deporting illegal aliens and narcotrafficking gang members belonging to Tren de Aragua (TdA), a designated Foreign Terrorist Organization.
Boasberg ordered the flights of criminal gang members to turn around and immediately bring the criminals back to the USA to enjoy a life of criminal conduct and terrorism in the USA. National security is secondary to the rights of criminal aliens to sell drugs, continue child/sexploitation, murder American citizens and rape their targets.
As I wrote in 2021, Judge James Boasberg has long been severely compromised; there simply is no other way to look at his interception of cases to protect the system, and the depth of his corruption is clearly visible in this set of rulings.
