A Japanese company has started human trials of the first once-a-day pill for Covid-19 patients, joining Pfizer Inc. and Merck & Co. in the race to find treatments for the disease.

Also, heard the pills will be based on a patented ivermectin analog and will cost only $1,000 per day for a five-day course./s Incidentally, ivermectin was discovered in Japan by Satoshi Ōmura, who (also incidentally) has been banned by Yootub for discussing the use of ivermectin in curing covid.
