Florida recognizes children face GREATER risk from covid vaccines than from the virus; officially advise children NOT to get vaccinated

The Florida Department of Health and Surgeon General Joseph Lapado issued guidance Wenesday recommending against vaccinating ‘healthy’ children 

Guidance applies to all children under the age of 17 but the parameters of ‘healthy’ were not outlined

Officials cited the potential risk of myocarditis in young people who receive the mRNA vaccine as reason for the guidance 

Children face little risk from COVID-19, making up less than 0.1% of COVID-19 deaths over the past two years

Good move but consider most of us knew this more than a year ago. Even our best state government for covid has been far too slow in promoting this very basic risk assessment. ABN
