United Kingdom: Vaccinated make up 92% of all covid deaths in March

Official data published by the UK Health Security Agency confirms the fully vaccinated population accounted for a shocking 92% of all Covid-19 deaths across England throughout March, but what’s even more shocking is that 82% of those deaths were among the triple vaccinated population.

But something even stranger than this is also occurring. Covid-19 is currently on the rise again across the UK, but the data confirms cases, hospitalisations and deaths are only rising among the triple vaccinated population, whereas they are declining significantly among the unvaccinated population.

“Ukraine’s Fate Is Now in Russia’s Hands”: Interview with Marko Marjanović, Editor of Anti-Empire

…This is a battle that is already 6-weeks old, it is just that until now the Russians didn’t have forces in the theater sufficient for truly spectacular success — because they were not focusing on this theater. Now they are getting massive reinforcements and if they stay true to the best Russian military traditions they will use them all at once and in a way that aims for something big, rather than squander them piecemeal.

How the battle is resolved won’t determine the outcome of the war, but it will determine whether there is a future for the Ukrainian military on the left bank outside cities.

If the Ukrainian army in the Donbass is encircled and marched into captivity then it would demonstrate the folly of trying to hold solid lines against the Russians out in the open.

Numerous graves of civilians discovered in the liberated territory of the DPR

A large number of graves have been found in the territories liberated from the Kiev occupants, the human rights commissioner in the Donetsk People’s Republic and head of the interdepartmental commission for searching for missing people Darya Morozova said on April 12, the Donetsk News Agency (DAN) reported.

Morozova said that spontaneous graves of civilians “are now found practically in all large liberated towns and villages, in particular, in Volnovakha and Mariupol.” According to her, “we have many such graves with victims of the actions of Ukrainian armed units.”

Morozova explained that the exhumation of burial sites has been postponed. Now, she said, the priority of the republican authorities is to collect the bodies of the dead that are on the surface and to bury them.

She said that in the coming spring and summer period, with the higher temperatures, the bodies will decompose more intensely. Therefore, she said, “we have to collect all the bodies that are on the surface. We need to document every such case.”

How much weaponry did the Taliban get after Biden’s corrupt and blundering withdrawal?

Thanks to the Government Accountability Office, we now have a clear picture of just how much U.S. military equipment has fallen into the hands of the Taliban, thanks to this Administration’s bungled withdrawal from Afghanistan. Let’s have a look…

Aircraft: The Taliban now ranks #26 in the world in total military aircraft, thanks to us leaving behind
208 planes and helicopters:
110 helicopters
60 transport/cargo planes
20 light attack planes
18 intelligence/surveillance planes

Vehicles: You’ve probably seen the footage of the Taliban riding around in our humvees.
We left a total of 75,898 vehicles:
42,604 tactical vehicles
22,174 humvees
8,998 medium tactical vehicles
1,005 recovery vehicles
928 mine-resistant vehicles
189 armored tanks

Weapons: Get ready for this…
599,690 of our weapons are now in the hands of the Taliban:
358,530 rifles
126,295 pistols
64,363 machine guns
25,327 grenade launchers
12,692 shotguns
9,877 RPGs
2,606 howitzers

And you can throw a couple thousand night-vision goggles, surveillance drones, and communication devices on that list as well.

Price tag: In total, it adds up to nearly $84 BILLION DOLLARS in tax-payer-funded U.S. military equipment.

The importance of fuzzy lines in maintaining a sane world

Online speech restrictions make sense up to a point. There is a reasonable line in there somewhere. Twitter is going way to far in only one direction, so almost all of us see its restrictions are unreasonable and probably unsustainable. This situation illustrates 1) the importance of lines, and 2) that lines are necessarily fuzzy, and 3) that even fuzzy lines have to be firm in the right places.

Over the past six decades, USA has waffled too much on our fuzzy lines, both legal and cultural. Fuzzy lines are hard to draw and hard to keep firm. Trump’s border wall is an example of a successful firm fuzzy line as were his immigration policies. TBH, gay marriage probably went to far. It crossed a fuzzy line of accepting homosexuality probably too much. Once crossed, all manner of gender “rights” have made even human identities fuzzy. Today, “abortion rights” are even beginning to include the right to kill your “perinatal” infant.

In thinking about fuzzy lines it is crucial that we all recognize that all cultures are fundamentally held together by Lowest Common Denominator behavioral rules and as such are kind of stupid and very easy to attack. All cultures are held together with fuzzy lines. No culture is perfect. All cultures can be destabilized by constantly pushing against their fuzzy lines. Some pushing is good. Too much pushing is bad. Don’t make perfect be the enemy of good enough. Don’t allow woke to be the enemy of reason. Or anyone’s sexuality or identity the enemy of a reasonably well-functioning society. It’s not easy to do this right but it is not impossible either and it must be done or chaos ensues. ABN

EU Investment Groups Worth $140 Trillion Urge For Stricter Corporate Climate Change Disclosures

Investors managing a combined $140 trillion have come together to put pressure on corporations to disclose their plans on how to deal with climate change in the future.

Investment groups have combined not only to seek out more disclosure about adaptations to climate change, but also to demand that companies meet pledges to become carbon neutral by 2050, Bloomberg reported Monday morning.

The groups, called Responsible Investment and the European Sustainable Investment Forum (sigh), are urging that the EU’s Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive require companies to prepare “transition plans”.

Speculation mounts that Musk IS planning hostile take-over of Twitter after he filed amended SEC paperwork indicating he will criticize the firm and demand change

…’Elon switched his paperwork last week from passive to activist investor. He’s no longer bound by the agreement that caps the amount of Twitter he can own. He seems mad,’ longtime technology reporter and author Alex Kantrowitz argued. ‘Only getting more interesting from here.’

A SECRET NATO BIOWEAPON LABORATORY IN THE UNDERGROUND OF MARIUPOL?

In the underground of Mariupol’s Azovstal there would be a secret NATO facility, managed together with Metabiota. A chemical and biological weapons laboratory whose existence must be hidden from the world. Here’s what the Russian special forces are looking for in the Mariupol dungeons. In the fighting in the last few hours, some Ukrainian command centers, groups and mercenary headquarters have been hit, also destroying many of the military equipment that has just arrived from the West. The port of Mariupol is under the control of the Russian army, but the fighting continues. Mariupol has the Azovstal industrial zone, a company owned by oligarch Rinat Akhmetov.
