The delay of ground operation can have different explanation than weather. I guess US observing rapid growth of consolidation of Muslim world on the anti-American basis are hesitating whether let Israel to do that or not. Calculation of direct consequences show total collapse of American policy toward Islamic world. No Muslim at all would agree with ethnical cleansing of Gaza – Nakba 2.0. Many countries , movements and persons would react. Some of them violently. The West in general is facing direct confrontation with global Islam. No one can stay neutral. Ground operation = crossing last line that still separates humanity from irreversible split, war of civilizations and total destruction.
Many ways to think about this situation. I am sure a just and complex ethics will not win. Instead, power-formulas aimed at planetary control will dictate who lives and who dies. The Israeli MIHOP raid was designed to provoke, but this provocation can go more ways than one. It may backfire on Israel and the West, causing years of chaos and war. And it may backfire on the Muslim and anti-West, also causing years of chaos and war. The winner will be the most powerful who uses the best strategy. The immediate provocation was the MIHOP raid in Israel, but there are decades behind that and already there are many avenues of violence and further provocation after that. This is open KOBK war unlikely to be quelled by anything but more violence. ABN
