I do not see how ‘they’ are going to lie their way out of this. ‘Incompetence’ is always their main excuse along with foot-dragging by looong ‘investigation’. But ‘they’ also seem to relish blatant lies as if to rub it in our faces or prove to themselves how powerful they are. The fabric of all political ‘reality’ from ancient times to present has always been illusory. But today, we can see through it quicker and with greater accuracy than in the past.
