The contractor responsible for the software used by the New Jersey Dept of Motor Vehicles to uplink voter registration to the state elections office is now saying their software did not cause 6,600 illegal aliens to be registered voters.
Someone in New Jersey government had to create that link to register the voters.
The USA Today has responses from IDEMIA, a France-based company that provides technology for issuing identity documents also used by 36 different states.
[…] IDEMIA spokeswoman Lisa Shoemaker told USA TODAY on July 23 that “the characterization that a glitch occurred is not accurate.”
”There was no glitch or software error,” said Shoemaker, whose firm also handles a wide array of federal contracts, including TSA Pre-Check at airports and “biometric and secure identity solutions” at the Pentagon.
