Free speech is now our most important right. 2A is not going to stop totalitarian mind-control. They already search and seize whatever they want. So far, though, we still have a fundamental right to free speech even if we can be isolated by algorithms. We want and need more but at least we have what we have. Eva has a prominent voice and is using it well. I urge everyone to use your freedom of speech. Say what you think not just online but to your friends and family, your neighbors. Wide-open toleration of strong opinions is the bloodstream of a free society, a real civilization. ABN

well said, and for me very prescient. I recently lost a friend because I challenged some of the lies and hyperboles he was getting from MSM talking heads. He is sure we’re “moving towards fascism”, and Trump is Hitler and is going to become a dictator. I laughed at that! They’ve been telling us that for 10 years now. He then got upset when I tried to distinguish those who immigrate to the US legally versus those who are here illegally. Said he couldn’t tolerate someone who used the term “illegals” for immigrants. And of course, he had no idea that Obama deported more illegal immigrants than Trump did, and Obama put them in “cages”. Just another way the MSM lies to us–lies of omission, and then they use selective outrage about everything Trump is trying to do.
I’m sad to lose the friendship. And I’m concerned and even despairing that someone who saw thru the 911 lies before I did and saw thru the covid lies is now believing everything MSM says about Trump.
You might try asking your friend to watch Trump’s open cabinet meeting from yesterday. It shows how much they are doing, why they are doing it, how well they are cooperating, and how effective they probably will be.
