Ok so the moment the strike happened, I said that Qatar is going to publicly condemn Israel for violating “sovereignty”.
We’re already seeing this happen. It’s being framed as sovereignty defense.
This means it will next quietly signal it can no longer host Hamas leadership (safety + legitimacy risk).
Hamas leadership either goes underground or relocates. My guess is Beirut or Tehran.
Without Doha’s platform, Hamas’s political legitimacy shrinks.
Arab states gain room to treat Hamas as a security problem rather than a political actor.
Egypt and Saudi Arabia step forward as main mediators. Qatar repositions as a “neutral supporter” of aid/reconstruction, no longer a partisan broker.
With this new chapter, the Arab bloc presents itself to Washington as ready to “deliver” Gaza stability if empowered.
