The concept of a soul or vital force is consistent across scientific, medical, theological, and philosophical thought1 . The soul is often described as contained within specific organs but separate from the body, and it is unsurprising that its location has been a subject of great debate throughout history2 . Despite much contention, those historically in search of the soul have generally agreed that it is the essence of a person – their true and immortal self1,3 . Indeed, when confronted with the challenge of identifying themselves, most people point to their chest or, approximately, their heart. This cardiocentric model of who we are is described in humanity’s earliest writings from the third millennium BCE, indicating that Ancient Egyptians believed souls were immortal and located within the hearts of impermanent bodies4 . The related idea of the pneuma – ancient Greek for breath, spirit, or soul – represents one among many similar beliefs about the essence of human life5 . Consistent with the heart’s exalted status throughout history6 , and until very recently, irreversible cardiac arrest was considered the medical standard for death7-9 . Which is to say, when your heart stopped beating, you stopped being. However, the importance of other bodily organs did not go unnoticed by our ancestors. Notable philosophers such as Plato and Descartes championed the brain as the locus of the soul10-13 and modern definitions of death rest squarely on the structural and functional integrity of the brain, not the heart7,8 .
The “blue-gold-yellow tactic” (often abbreviated as BGY or in Chinese as 蓝金黄, Lán Jīn Huáng) refers to an alleged infiltration and influence strategy attributed to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).It was popularized by exiled Chinese billionaire and dissident Guo Wengui (also known as Miles Guo) in 2017 disclosures. According to Guo and sources echoing his claims, BGY is a systematic program to exert control over foreign individuals, institutions, and governments through three parallel methods:
Blue (蓝/Lán): Control over the internet and cyber operations. This involves hacking, surveillance, propaganda dissemination, and manipulating online narratives (e.g., via social media, censorship tools, or tech companies like Huawei).
Gold (金/Jīn): Economic influence through money and bribery. This includes buying loyalty with financial incentives, investments, loans, or corruption to gain leverage over politicians, businessmen, media, and elites.
Yellow (黄/Huáng): Seduction and sexual compromise (honey traps). This refers to using sex, romance, or scandals to blackmail or entrap key figures, often referencing “yellow” as slang for pornography or illicit sexual content in Chinese contexts.
Guo described BGY as part of a broader effort to undermine adversaries (particularly the U.S.) and achieve global dominance, alongside another alleged plan called “3F” (weaken, fracture, and fell America). These claims surfaced in press conferences, interviews, and documents Guo presented as leaked CCP intelligence directives
.Context and Controversy
The term gained traction in anti-CCP dissident circles, Falun Gong-affiliated media (e.g., Minghui.org, GNews), and some Western reports on Chinese influence operations. Examples include accusations of CCP-linked honey traps, economic coercion via Belt and Road initiatives, and cyber espionage.
Do you know how the CCP takes down foreign politicians? It’s not through money, not through power. But through a kind of… ancient culture. A former Japanese high-ranking official, who once served as the secretary-general of the “Japan-China Friendship Delegation.” He personally recounted his own experience. It was during a visit to Beijing, with the welcome ceremony held at the Great Hall of the People. A long table, with the Japanese delegation seated on one side and CCP officials on the other. But strangely, Next to each Japanese representative stood a beautiful woman. Before departure, he had been warned: “These women are specially tailored for each of you, Selected entirely according to your preferences, You absolutely, absolutely must not touch them!” He was half-believing, half-doubting, but when he arrived at the scene and took a look, “Bingo!” The woman standing next to him was completely his type. And this was just the beginning. In the evening, the delegation checked into the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse. He was warned again: “Listen up, cadres, they will definitely come knocking at night, You absolutely cannot let them in! The rooms are full of cameras; once they enter, you’re done for!” Sure enough, they came. They knocked on the door and asked: “Are you thirsty? Would you like a drink?” He refused. Think it was over? Not at all. A little while later, another knock: “Do you need a massage service?” In short, they tried every possible means, just to get into your room. In Japan, many members of parliament started out as secretaries. Today’s foreign minister is the secretary of one of his former colleagues. What does it mean if these people get caught with leverage? This isn’t an isolated case; it’s the CCP’s systematic infiltration over decades. The Japanese political arena has long been their hunting ground.
Hatred of the host inspires and justifies vicious parasitism and cruelty. Freud was a fraud, an ‘intellectual’ subversive. He was describing Jewish Supremacy when he said a people can be cohesive as long as they have someone to hate. ABN
Sigmund Freud argued that social cohesion is fundamentally dependent on the existence of an external enemy or outgroup, which allows internal group members to unite through shared hostility. He posited that love within a group is only possible because of hatred directed toward those outside the group, as this external aggression serves to bind the group together. In his work, Freud explained that society coheres through the identification of an outgroup, enabling group members to displace their own aggressiveness onto this external target, thereby deflecting destructive impulses that might otherwise turn inward. This mechanism allows for the construction of group identity and cohesion, as the shared antagonism toward an “other” reinforces internal solidarity.
Sigmund Freud infamously said, “They don’t realize that we’re bringing them the plague,” upon arriving in New York Harbor in 1909 during his first and only visit to the United States.

An elusive member of the weasel family known as fishers have continued their gradual return to Ohio, with one confirmed sighting near Cleveland for the first time in nearly two centuries.
A trail camera captured footage of a fisher earlier this year inside Cleveland Metroparks, marking the species’ first confirmed appearance in Cuyahoga County since the 1800s, park officials said.
The animal was identified by Andy Burmesch, the park system’s wildlife management coordinator.
Cleveland Metroparks announced the sighting in December 13 Instagram post that included video and photographs of the animal moving through a wooded area. The post drew tens of thousands of likes and hundreds of comments.
‘This is tremendously exciting, as this is yet another extirpated native Ohio mammal species to be documented for the first time in Cleveland Metroparks,’ the parks system said in the Instagram post.
The term “fisher cat” is a common name for the fisher (Pekania pennanti), a carnivorous mammal native to North America and a member of the weasel family (Mustelidae) Despite the name, fishers are not cats and are not related to felines; they are more closely related to weasels, minks, martens, and otters The name “fisher cat” likely originated from early European settlers who noted a resemblance to the European polecat, known as a “fitch” or “fichet,” with “fisher” possibly derived from the Dutch “fisse” or “visse”
Fishers are not known to eat fish regularly, despite the name; their diet primarily consists of small mammals such as snowshoe hares and porcupines, as well as birds, insects, fruits, nuts, mushrooms, and carrion They are agile climbers with retractable claws and can leap up to 7 feet between trees, often hunting in forested areas with fallen logs and dense undergrowth
The species is sexually dimorphic, with males being significantly larger than females—males can weigh up to 20 pounds (9 kg) and measure up to 3 feet in length, including a tail that makes up about one-third of their total length Their fur is dark brown to black, dense, and glossy, especially in winter, and may appear grizzled in older individuals due to white-tipped hairs
A Wisconsin judge has been found guilty of obstruction for helping a Mexican immigrant evade ICE in a victory for Donald Trump‘s crackdown on illegal migration.
Federal prosecutors charged Milwaukee County Circuit Judge Hannah Dugan with obstruction, a felony, and concealing an individual to prevent arrest, a misdemeanor, in April.
The indictment accused Dugan of ‘knowingly’ concealing an undocumented migrant, Eduardo Flores-Ruiz, so he wouldn’t be discovered and arrested by officers with Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Dugan allegedly helped Flores-Ruiz evade arrest when he appeared in her courtroom on April 18 for a pretrial hearing in a domestic abuse case.
The jury acquitted her on the concealment count, but she still faces up to five years in prison on the obstruction count, a sentencing date has not yet been scheduled.
The jury returned the verdicts after deliberating for six hours.
Jewish Supremists have been doing this for centuries covertly. They make lists and hand them off to covert thugs who attack the people on the lists; and they often attack their children as well (see Gaza for evidence of this). This species of vigilantism is a major factor in the downfall of the West. Toadies are promoted (see US Congress for evidence of this), while talented people who can recognize patterns and are neither greedy nor afraid to speak are destroyed. Another point on those vigilante lists is any JS can put anyone on them. Dude scores a girl you want, put him on the list. Some guy in your class is smarter than you, put him on the list. This is always the deeply evil result of vigilante lists. The org in the video above is a public face, a sanitized version, of this ancient covert phenomenon. Even still it is chilling. Imagine anyone openly doing something like this to Jews. ABN
Interpersonal communication systems can become chaotic when there are misunderstandings. And they can become wildly chaotic when the misunderstandings are serious and/or involve emotional responses.
Normally, in virtually all cultures, out-of-control interpersonal communications are settled by authoritarian decree, by reverting to pre-established roles, by fighting until one side tires, or by ending communication all together.
It is nothing short of tragic when this happens in close relationships during significant or profound communication acts.
FIML is designed to fix communication problems that occur during communications between two (or more) people who care about each other.
FIML is a “loose” method of control in that FIML largely does not have any content. It is a technique that allows partners to discover their own content and their own ways to fix their problems.
As with so many potentially chaotic systems, interpersonal misunderstandings can become wildly unstable for even very small reasons. A single misheard word or a single misinterpreted expression can lead to destructive chaos within the system, no matter how dedicated the communicants may be to each other.
To paraphrase from the abstract of that paper and apply their conclusions to FIML, we can say that FIML works “…by stalling the control, thereby taking advantage of the stable directions of the uncontrolled chaotic” system.
By not having a set outcome in mind, by not allowing static interpersonal roles to control the outcome, FIML can succeed in fixing even very serious communication contretemps between caring partners. FIML accomplishes this by providing partners with a means of achieving a meta-view of their contretemps and from that point of view gently coaxing their analysis toward mutual agreement, mutual transformation for both parties based on a complete and completely shared understanding of the unique conditions that generated the problem.
In this, FIML takes “advantage of the stable directions of the uncontrolled chaotic” system. The stable direction is the complete and mutually agreed upon resolution of all aspects of their contretemps. It is a “return” to the stable state of caring that preceded the problem, but a “return” with a significant upgrade because the new stable state will now include the experience of repairing the chaotic state that just passed.
A FIML resolution can be very enjoyable because it upgrades the semiotic systems of both partners.
An article on the study linked above describes the “loose” control method as an “approach that cleverly exploits the natural behaviour of the system.” (See: Control is good, freedom is better)
FIML exploits the natural behavior of two people who seek mutual caring and mutual positive transformation by providing a method that allows them to intelligently deal with the chaos that is 100% bound to arise during some of their acts of communication. Rather than flee from communication due to the fear of chaos, FIML partners have a reliable method of controlling it and reestablishing harmony on a higher, better level.
Sepehr has produced many interesting videos, some of which I post. They can be controversial, but that is a plus in my view. Our ancient past needs to be rethought and reimagined. We all come from somewhere, all of us are mixtures, but human groups did and still do differ enormously. These differences are very often reflected in cultural norms across the world. The more realistic we are about the past and the present, the better. Today’s cascade of genetic information seems to be getting reasonably sifted through to yield solid new insights. My main friendly criticism of Sepehr’s work is he puts himself in his videos so often, some of them are unwatchable (for me) even though the content is otherwise worthy. He has risen to prominence quickly, so maybe putting himself in there has been a good PR idea. I really mean this as friendly, respectful criticism only. ABN
The latest report from Amnesty International, “I Was Someone Else’s Property,” reveals a harrowing reality: at least 53 scam compounds across Cambodia have become hubs of modern slavery, human trafficking, torture, and forced labor. These compounds, often disguised as legitimate tech parks or business centers, are operated by transnational criminal networks with apparent impunity. Victims – lured by fake job ads – are imprisoned, abused, and coerced into defrauding people worldwide through online scams. The report documents how these operations are enabled by systemic corruption, weak law enforcement, and a lack of political will to dismantle the criminal infrastructure.

While Taiwanese citizens are not the largest group affected, they face unique and severe risks due to their international status. In recent raids, dozens of Taiwanese nationals were arrested, and many were wrongly identified as perpetrators rather than victims of trafficking. Without proper screening procedures, these individuals are often treated as criminals and, in some cases, forcibly extradited to China, where they face prosecution and detention under Beijing’s jurisdiction. Taiwan’s lack of formal diplomatic ties with Cambodia further complicates rescue efforts, leaving victims vulnerable and without recourse.
The situation is further exacerbated by the demographics of the victims. Many are extremely young, including minors, who are deceived by fraudulent job advertisements on social media platforms. These ads promise glamorous lifestyles and high-paying, easy work in Southeast Asia. Upon arrival, however, these individuals are stripped of their documents, confined under armed guard, and subjected to physical and psychological abuse. Surveillance systems, armed guards, and barbed wire fences make escape nearly impossible. The betrayal of their aspirations and the trauma of captivity leave lasting scars that are often overlooked in public discourse.
Amnesty International’s findings underscore the Cambodian government’s failure – and in some cases, complicity – in addressing these crimes. The lack of enforcement and accountability has emboldened criminal syndicates, allowing a billion-dollar shadow economy to flourish. Victims are often denied access to justice, and the absence of transparent investigations perpetuates a cycle of impunity.
Cambodian scam parks are a significant factor in the Thai-Cambodia conflict, serving as both a source of economic tension and a strategic target in the ongoing military clashes. The conflict, which reignited in December 2025 after a brief ceasefire brokered by the Trump administration, has seen Thailand conduct air strikes on at least five Cambodian casinos and resorts, which are widely believed to house scam operations These strikes are viewed by Thai officials and the public as a response to the perception that these facilities are hubs for cross-border online scams, which have generated billions of dollars annually and involved widespread human trafficking, forced labor, and torture of victims from Asia, Africa, and Latin America The Thai military’s targeting of these sites is seen as both a security measure and a political signal to the Thai public, demonstrating action against a major perceived threat
The economic stakes are high, as these scam centers are believed to be linked to powerful Cambodian political elites, including the Hun family, and are a major source of illicit revenue Thailand’s proposed legalization of casinos near the border threatens to undermine this lucrative system by reducing the need for money laundering through Cambodian casinos and cutting into their earnings This economic competition, combined with the political fallout from a leaked phone call between Thailand’s acting Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra and Cambodia’s former Prime Minister Hun Sen, has further inflamed tensions The conflict has also been exacerbated by nationalist sentiments on both sides, with the Thai government using the issue to rally public support and Cambodia’s leadership potentially leveraging the conflict to distract from domestic socio-economic challenges
