As fires raged across Los Angeles on Tuesday, some firefighters battling the Palisades fire reported on internal radio systems that hydrants in Pacific Palisades were coming up dry.
“The hydrants are down,” said one firefighter.
“Water supply just dropped,” said another.
L.A. developer Rick Caruso, who owns Palisades Village in the heart of the Westside neighborhood, told The Times he was receiving similar reports from his staff at the shopping center.
“There’s no water in the fire hydrants,” Caruso said. “The firefighters are there [in the neighborhood], and there’s nothing they can do — we’ve got neighborhoods burning, homes burning, and businesses burning. … It should never happen.”
DEI at the firehouse should include ample water. And in the woods it should include controlled burns. Controlled burns prevent big fires and water puts fires out. Newly declassified bombshell records of an infamous CIA mind control program, MKUltra, reveal how Americans were drugged and tortured more than 60 years ago.
The collection of more than 1,200 pages detail how the CIA used induced sleep, electroshocks and ‘psychic driving’ on drugged subjects who were psychologically tortured for weeks or months to reprogram their minds.
The subjects included criminals, mental patients and drug addicts, but also Army soldiers and average citizens who were given drugs without their knowledge.
A total of 144 projects were conducted from 1953 to 1964, aimed at developing procedures and drugs that could be used during interrogations, weakening individuals and forcing confessions through brainwashing and psychological torture.
While it has long been said that subjects only included prisoners, mental patients and drug addicts, one report showed that some CIA and Army officials and ‘subjects in normal life settings’ were ‘unwittingly’ given LSD over the decade-long experiment.
In a newly unsealed document from 1956, researchers were developing ‘an anti-interrogation drug’ by testing ‘materials capable of producing alterations in the human central nervous system which are reflected as alterations in human behavior.’

For alpha activity, meditators displayed greater overall power as well as a distinctive distribution pattern. While non-meditators showed stronger alpha activity primarily in posterior regions, meditators exhibited higher alpha activity in frontal regions relative to the rest of the brain. This shift in distribution may reflect greater inhibitory control over irrelevant or distracting thoughts, a cognitive function often enhanced through mindfulness practice.
Gamma activity, linked to higher-order cognitive functions and neural integration, was also higher in meditators. The increase was particularly pronounced in frontal regions, indicating potential neuroplastic changes associated with prolonged meditation practice. Gamma waves are thought to play a role in attention and the integration of sensory information, suggesting that meditation might strengthen these capacities over time.
“Since these results were obtained while participants were simply resting (not performing any task), it is not obvious what cognitive processes these differences in brain activity reflect,” Bailey explained. “However, each of these brain waves have been associated with specific neural processes – theta brain waves have been associated with the direction of attention and selection of a specific thing to focus on when distractions are present, alpha brain waves have been associated with the engagement of top-down neural activity to inhibit brain regions that aren’t relevant to the task at hand, and gamma brain waves have been associated with energy intensive processing of sensory information as well as higher order cognitive functions and working memory. The fact that meditators show increased amplitude of each of these brain activities might suggest that they can engage these brain activities more strongly when needed, perhaps providing a potential mechanism underpinning the improved cognitive function associated with long-term practice of mindfulness meditation.”
UPDATE: This research describes some of the valuable, though mundane, benefits of meditation. In Buddhism, meditation fundamentally refers to the samadhi and dhyana states. The eighth element of the Noble Eightfold Path is Right Samadhi. Samadhi is the experience of a different state of mind with many levels of depth and importance. In many senses it is the experiential reward of Buddhist practice, a thing in itself, a practice that is its own reward. More information on samadhi can be found here. Definitionally, descriptively, samadhi is fairly simple. It entails the closing down or shutting off the the senses, while remaining mindful of what remains while that happens. ABN

Shawn’s former friend and SRS researcher became self-aware as a subject in MONARCH after I contacted them in early 2023. They were cut off from Shawn immediately – then there were attempts to route them to Monroe Institute – which is 100% known to be involved and is where many are sent for reprogramming or closeout.

I have no idea what to make of this any more than I do of Shawn Ryan. Our universal inability to be certain of who or what is in power and what information is correct or false is the core basis of KOBK game theory. Shawn himself cannot be sure of where he is situated in whatever hierarchy he imagines he may be in. Neither can the hierarchs at the top, save in rare situations, be completely sure they are really at the top. Bosses get offed all the time. Our uncertainty of all information does not go away as we become more powerful, influential, or wealthy. Who controls Elon Musk? Surely, Elon knows, right? No, he has no idea if who he believes are his masters are his masters. Those ‘masters’ might just be messengers, handlers, spies. If one hierarch decisively defeats his rival he can probably be sure the rival has been defeated, but KOBK does not stop there because someone might stab him in the back in the next second. People at the top are surely holding themselves in a tight grid of oaths, omerta, volitional bribe material, and the sure threat of death and disgrace if they break rank. The reward is wealth and power. Top people probably can and do quit or retire but their oaths remain. Xi Jinping is an example of a particularly ruthless/strong hierarch. But now that China is declining, his hold is weakening. I would not be surprised if he were overthrown soon. It is important to note that Xi’s hold on power is weakening due to his bad policies, but more importantly due to growing popular opposition to his leadership.
