The authors of a new study published in the Monthly Notices of the Royal Academy of Sciences believe that technosignatures of potential aliens in the form of Dyson spheres may have already been discovered.
A Dyson sphere is a hypothetical structure that could only be built by a highly advanced civilization. Such structures must be created around stars in order to harness all their energy.

Abstract
The search for extraterrestrial intelligence is currently being pursued using multiple techniques and in different wavelength bands. Dyson spheres, megastructures that could be constructed by advanced civilizations to harness the radiation energy of their host stars, represent a potential technosignature, that in principle may be hiding in public data already collected as part of large astronomical surveys. In this study, we present a comprehensive search for partial Dyson spheres by analyzing optical and infrared observations from Gaia, 2MASS, and WISE. We develop a pipeline that employs multiple filters to identify potential candidates and reject interlopers in a sample of five million objects, which incorporates a convolutional neural network to help identify confusion in WISE data. Finally, the pipeline identifies 7 candidates deserving of further analysis. All of these objects are M-dwarfs, for which astrophysical phenomena cannot easily account for the observed infrared excess emission.

The two main sides to this issue as of today are: 1) it’s realness and 2) how it is being used as a psyop, if it is being used as a psyop. Both sides can be discussed together and/or separately. Having had personal experiences with ‘aliens’, I am most interested in the realness of these phenomena and pleased to see so much mainstream acceptance. Clearly, a paradigm shift has occurred. At the same time, I am mindful that governments and IC actors will spin everything in any way they can if it advantages them.
Another level to these phenomena is the ‘aliens’ people are encountering may actually be entities from other dimensions. Dimensions that overlap ours and are not necessarily far away in terms of spatial distance. This way of looking at it fits fairly well with the Six Realms of Buddhism, which can easily be interpreted as dimensions. Why is US government lying about alien contact?
One thing I like about UFO/alien stories is I am convinced human life has a strong religious or metaphysical dramatic component and aliens richly conform to my sense of what that might be. It could be that Grusch’s story is part of a psyop to prepare us for totalitarianism. But that too is dramatic. Both possibilities and more could all be true at the same time. I have had several alien encounters and people that know me well know I have never shied from speaking about them if appropriate conditions arise. UPDATE: My partner strongly believes this is just the next episode in the ongoing world-conquering psyop. I believe that is a very credible interpretation, but also believe it is possible aliens created us and even more possible they are here and also possible they are in control. If they are in control, I wonder why they seem to be doing such a bad job. Yes, it could be worse, but it could also be better, especially if you are a sentient being more intelligent than us and far more advanced technologically. If they are not in control, why not?
To my partner, I made the point that this revelation is significant because Carlson is saying it, to which she replied he is obviously in on it too. In response, I said whatever happens there will always be people working the psyop, vying for money and power; the key point is this is coming from a prominent person now.
I do enjoy this topic and the many avenues of speculation it offers. Like many others, I have had significant experiences involving what I believe were aliens.
An important objection to aliens-are-here is it looks staged, looks HoWo, looks too scripted or cartoony. My response to this is sentient life itself clearly has a very large dramatic component.
That is to say, drama very clearly inheres in sentience itself on our plane of awareness. I do not believe sentience is a mere material function, a material abstract nothingness with an ersatz appearance of self-awareness. Thus, if a new layer of the human drama is being revealed, it cannot but appear dramatic; and that means we will tend to view it through the lens of the dramas we know best. ABN
