Over 50 Biden Administration Employees, 12 US Agencies Involved In Social Media Censorship Push: Documents

Senior officials in the U.S. government, including White House lawyer Dana Remus, deputy assistant to the president Rob Flaherty, and onetime White House senior COVID-19 adviser Andy Slavitt, have been in touch with one or more major social media companies to try to get the companies to tighten rules on allegedly false and misleading information on COVID-19, and take action against users who violate the rules, the documents show.

In July 2021, for instance, after Biden said that Facebook was “killing people” by not combating misinformation effectively, an executive at Meta reached out to Surgeon General Vivek Murthy, a Biden appointee, to say that government and Meta teams met after the remarks “to better understand the scope of what the White House expects from us on misinformation going forward.”

The same executive later wrote to Murthy saying, “I wanted to make sure you saw the steps we took just this past week to adjust policies on what we are removing with respect to misinformation, as well as steps taken to further address the ‘disinfo dozen,’” including removing pages linked to the group.

The White House publicly pressured social media companies to take action against a group that officials dubbed the “disinformation dozen,” which a nonprofit claimed were producing the bulk of “anti-vaccine misinformation” on the platforms. Also in July 2021, Murthy said Facebook hadn’t done enough to combat misinformation.

Justice Department fights demand for Anthony Fauci testimony, including “nature and content” of phone conversations with Mark Zuckerberg. Several White House staff among 50-plus federal officials tied to misinformation removal efforts

…The First Amendment lawsuit by Republican attorneys general and a civil liberties group against Biden, Fauci and several other high-level officials has revealed a “massive, sprawling federal ‘Censorship Enterprise'” related to COVID-19 and elections, the plaintiffs said in a 711-page “joint statement on discovery disputes.”

“If there was ever any doubt the federal government was behind censorship of Americans who dared to dissent from official Covid messaging, that doubt has been erased” by what the defendants have already turned over, New Civil Liberties Alliance lawyer Jenin Younes said.

State-sponsored behavioural science: The urgent need for an ethical framework

The ubiquitous deployment of behavioural-science techniques – ‘nudges’ – to increase compliance with both covid-19 restrictions and the vaccine rollout has raised major ethical concerns. Particularly alarming has been the state’s strategic use of fear (or ‘affect’ in the language of behavioural science), shaming (‘ego’) and peer pressure (‘norms’). The tentacles of behavioural science have extended beyond the arena of pandemic management and into many other areas of day-to-day life, including debt collection and the green agenda. Given their widespread prevalence and the profound ethical questions associated with them, it is imperative that the Government’s deployment of these powerful techniques adheres to a robust and transparent ethical framework. Alarmingly, politicians and state-sponsored behavioural scientists have – to date – displayed a stubborn reluctance to discuss these issues.

A robust ethical protocol to guide and constrain future state ‘nudging’ would incorporate four core elements. First, a requirement to consider the moral acceptability of the methods per se, with a view to limit (or prohibit) the more aversive techniques of persuasion. A government strategically inflicting emotional distress on its citizens, as a way of achieving compliance with its agenda, does not sit well with what one might reasonably expect from a civilised Western democracy.

The four core elements for reform are: 1) limiting or prohibiting use of behavioral methods; 2) their lack of transparency; 3) “the perceived legitimacy of using subconscious nudges”; 4) informed consent. ABN

ISRAEL: Twitter Censors Pfizer-Injured Israeli COVID Vaccine Director

…Last week, Twitter censored Prof. Shapira—who was “physically injured” after his third Pfizer vaccine—and forced him to remove a post which said: “Monkey pox cases were rare for years. During the last years a single case was documented in Israel. It is well established the mRNA vaccines affect the natural immune system. A monkey pox outbreak following massive covid vaccination: *Is not a coincidence.”

Facebook reportedly using ex-CIA to moderate misinformation policy

Facebook is allegedly going on a hiring spree in the Deep State, according to a report published by a left-wing website.

“It’s very difficult to see where Silicon Valley ends and where the national security state starts,” claimed the journalist who conducted the investigation.

What’s particularly unsettling, he suggested, is that the social media network whose robotic chairman and CEO is the very liberal, Biden-supporting Mark Zuckerberg, is reportedly slotting the recruited ex-feds into content moderation and other sensitive roles.

Sounds to me like doing a little more openly what they have been doing behind-the-scenes all along. ABN

‘Explosive’ Documents Reveal How CDC, Social Media Giants Colluded to Suppress Free Speech

Link to article: ‘Explosive’ Documents Reveal How CDC, Social Media Giants Colluded to Suppress Free Speech

The government debacle over covid is a very good illustration of the problem with simple moral nostrums like “the greatest good for the greatest number.” When the people responsible for covid malfeasance are called to answer for their considerable misdeeds, they will almost certainly respond that they were acting according to “the greatest good for the greatest number” if they accept any responsibility at all. Morality based on this slogan is always interpreted by interested parties who invariably get it wrong even if their motives are pristine, which they rarely are. A lot of socialism is based on this idea and fails for reasons given and more. Moralism like scientism is a distorted, often evil, mutation of real morality. ABN

A federal judge has ordered the Biden administration to hand over communication documents between the federal government and big tech companies

U.S. District Court Judge Terry Doughty, of the Western District of Louisiana, granted the order of discovery sought by Republican Attorneys General Eric Schmitt of Missouri and Jeff Landry of Louisiana.

President Joe Biden, members of his administration, and select social media companies must turn over documents and answer questions within the next 30 days during a discovery phase of a lawsuit alleging collusion to suppress freedom of speech, a court ruled.

The attorneys general of Louisiana and Missouri filed a lawsuit in May alleging Biden and eight high-ranking members of his administration and the government colluded with and/or coerced social media companies Meta, Twitter, and YouTube to suppress “disfavored speakers, viewpoints, and content on social medial platforms.”

“The suppression of early treatment appears to be completely intentional… It was by design to promote fear, suffering, hospitalization, and death… That itself qualifies as mass negligent homicide” – Dr Peter McCullough

Efforts to impede the developing community standard of care for the pandemic virus by pharmacists and then the censorship and reprisal of those doctors taking care of patients collectively constitutes a crime—mass negligent homicide. It’s in our new book “Courage to Face It”

MSN Quietly Deleted a Story Revealing That Severe COVID-19 is Rarely Found in the Unvaccinated

A research paper found that people who did not receive a COVID-19 vaccine had a lower rate of suffering a severe case of the virus amidst the pandemic.

The article, which has been uploaded to the preprint server ResearchGate, relied on data from over 18,500 respondents across 175 countries. Analysis revealed that individuals unvaccinated against COVID-19 reported fewer instances of hospitalization in comparison to their vaccinated counterparts.

MSN – a news website launched by vaccine enthusiast Bill Gates’s Microsoft in 1995 –  covered the study, titling its article “Severe COVID-19 ‘Rare’ In Unvaccinated People,” but appears to have taken down the story since its publication. Archived versions of the article are still available, however.
