‘There were multiple steps that were slow-walked at the Department of Justice’: IRS whistleblower breaks cover after claiming Hunter Biden was given preferential treatment during tax probe
The IRS whistleblower in the Hunter Biden probe has broken his cover after claiming the president’s son was given preferential treatment in a tax probe.
Gary Shapley, a 14-year IRS agent, said he immediately saw deviations in Hunter’s tax probe investigation when he was assigned the case in January 2020. He became concerned that prosecutors were mishandling the ‘controversial’ case and felt bound to blow the whistle due to his oath of office.
‘This is a job, and my oath of office is to treat everybody fairly that we investigate,’ he told CBS News. ‘[This case] was way outside the norm of what I’ve experienced in the past. There were multiple steps that were slow-walked — were just completely not done — at the direction of the Department of Justice.
‘When I saw the egregiousness of some of these things, it no longer became a choice for me. It’s not something that I want to do. It’s something I feel like I have to do.’
The registered Republican, who claims he does not get involved in politics, said the alleged mishandling is affecting the ‘fairness of the system’ when taxpayers and ‘subjects of investigations are treated differently.’

Biden to end familial DNA testing at border, key deterrent to fraud and child trafficking
The Biden administration is set to end familial DNA testing at the US-Mexico border, which has been key to preventing the fraudulent entry of many illegal immigrants and mitigating child trafficking, according to a memo obtained by Just The News.
The DNA testing was originally implemented in the Trump-era and utilized by Customs Border Protection – following a court order related to the separation of migrant children from their families and evidence drug cartels were using children to create fake family units to sneak illegal immigrants across the border.
But over the weekend, a CBP memo sent to frontline border agents announced the testing will cease when its vendor contract expires this month.

British intelligence found FBI Russia collusion probe so absurd it stopped helping
British intelligence expressed skepticism about the FBI’s investigation into the Donald Trump campaign’s alleged ties to Russia in 2016, and eventually became so concerned it stopped cooperating, according to evidence made public in Special Counsel John Durham’s recent report.
Durham released his 300+ page report on the origins of the Trump-Russia collusion probe on Monday, representing the culmination of years of investigations. That report excoriated the FBI for pursuing the investigation without possessing any significant evidence of wrongdoing.
Intelligence officials in the United Kingdom evidently shared Durham’s assessment contemporaneously.
Durham highlighted an exchange between an intelligence official and the FBI’s legal attache office in London (ALAT) in which the latter relayed concerns about the flimsiness of the evidence, especially as it related to former Trump campaign aides George Papadopoulos and Carter Page.
“Dude, are we telling them [British Intelligence Service-1] everything we know, or is there more to this?” he asked “Supervisory Special Agent-1.” “That’s all we have… not holding anything back,” was the reply, prompting ALAT to retort “Damn that’s thin.”

Father of Deputy Israeli Minister Under Investigation for Sexually Abusing Yeshiva Students
Israeli police are investigating Rabbi Efraim Tessler, father of Deputy Culture Minister Yaakov Tessler and former head of a Jerusalem yeshiva, on suspicion of rape and sexual offenses against students.
The investigation follows a January Haaretz report detailing the sexual abuse suffered by high school-aged students at Damesek Eliezer Yeshiva of the Vishnitz Hasidic community.
Yaakov Tessler, the deputy minister and the rabbi’s son, has not been summoned for questioning or as a witness by the police, even though he was involved in the agreement to exchange 100,000 shekels for a victim’s silence.

While it’s bad enough the debunked dossier the FBI used to spy on the Trump campaign was paid for by the Clinton campaign and authored by a foreign FBI informant and his carousing researcher, the newly released report of Special Counsel John Durham strongly suggests a top Justice Department official and his wife had an early hand in shaping the political rumor sheet.

According to the 306-page report, former Justice Department prosecutor Bruce Ohr’s wife Nellie Ohr first plowed the ground for the dossier with a series of research reports she wrote for Fusion GPS, the D.C.-based opposition research firm the Clinton campaign commissioned to dig up dirt on Trump and Russia.

Obtained by Durham, her reports zeroed in on Sergei Millian and his connections to Russia and Trump, falsely portraying him as a key intermediary between the Kremlin and the Republican candidate. They would later provide the foundation for the dossier’s many fictions.
“Fusion GPS records demonstrate that Nellie Ohr first identified Millian,” Durham states in his report. “All told, Ohr prepared at least 12 reports that discussed Sergei Millian.”

Don’t Miss The Most Damning Durham Finding
Monday’s special counsel report detailed extensive evidence of Department of Justice and FBI misconduct concerning the launch and handling of the Crossfire Hurricane investigation, and equally overwhelming proof of partisan motives and double standards. While the facts are critical of both the bureau and the DOJ, more scandalous is John Durham’s conclusion that the inexcusable targeting of a political opponent cannot be prevented absent a curing of the corrupted hearts and minds of law enforcement and intelligence agencies.
It is here that Durham made his damning indictment of the DOJ and the FBI when he stressed that “the answer is not the creation of new rules but a renewed fidelity to the old.” Ultimately, he continued, justice “comes down to the integrity of the people who take an oath to follow the guidelines.” And “the promulgation of additional rules and regulations to be learned in yet more training sessions would likely prove to be a fruitless exercise if the FBI’s guiding principles of ‘Fidelity, Bravery and Integrity’ are not engrained in the hearts and minds of those sworn to meet the FBI’ s mission of ‘Protect[ing] the American People and Uphold[ing] the Constitution of the United States.’”

Donald Trump has responded to Justice Department special counsel John Durham’s report on the origins of the FBI‘s Trump-Russia probe, saying the findings vindicate his claims of baseless persecution.
‘It’s a great vindication and it feels good, and the report has been widely praised,’ Trump told Newsmax in a phone interview on Tuesday night.
‘All of these people are — I guess you could call it treason. You could call it a lot of different things. But this should never be allowed to happen in our country again,’ added Trump.
The former president when on to heap blame his 2016 election opponent, Hillary Clinton, for the controversial FBI probe into his own campaign.
‘This was really started by, when she lost the election,’ said Trump. ‘They call this a big, big surprise, and they didn’t know what to say. And they said, Let’s blame it on Russia. Somehow somebody came up with the idea let’s blame her loss on Russia.’
‘This was really an excuse for why she lost the election. She blamed it on Russia. And it’s very sad, very very bad for our country,’ added Trump.

The IRS has removed the entire team probing Hunter Biden‘s tax returns ‘in retaliation against a whistleblower who alleged his colleagues were covering-up the president’s son’s financial crimes.’
Those dismissal orders came from the Justice Department, the whistleblower’s attorneys told Congress in a letter, according to The New York Post.
Hunter’s business dealings have been under the microscope since a series of leaked emails sparked suspicions that he was using his political connections to land lucrative consulting contracts.
‘Today the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Criminal Supervisory Special Agent we represent was informed that he and his entire investigative team are being removed from the ongoing and sensitive investigation of the high-profile, controversial subject about which our client sought to make whistleblower disclosures to Congress.
