By now the video of ICBM systems on the road in Moscow has triggered the claim that nuclear weapons are “on the way to Ukraine.”

That’s not what’s happening, but it is more evidence that Russia is planning to escalation – the beginning of season 2.

ICBM systems are being dispersed, essentially as insurance – it’s not preparation to begin a nuclear war, but it is preparation to be able to fight one if needed.

Russia will soon escalate in Ukraine, likely with decapitation strikes and the destruction of Ukraine’s vital utilities. In anticipation, they are moving strategic (read, nuclear) assets – both to deter NATO against escalating further, and to respond if the worst happens.

They’re probably ready to put a Poseidon off the coast of the English Midlands to this end as well.

Formal annexation of Ukrainian territories happens on Wednesday. I would expect more intense Russian military action after that and not before. ABN

There are other ways of analyzing our situation but when we consider how badly Western elites have mangled their own countries and their own peoples, how can we not blame them? The disaster that is and was Western covid policy is but the most recent chapter of elite destructive exploitation of their own peoples, assuming top cabal players are even Western. ABN

President of Russia Vladimir Putin: Citizens of Russia, citizens of the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics, residents of the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions, deputies of the State Duma, senators of the Russian Federation,

As you know, referendums have been held in the Donetsk and Lugansk people’s republics and the Zaporozhye and Kherson regions. The ballots have been counted and the results have been announced. The people have made their unequivocal choice.

Today we will sign treaties on the accession of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Lugansk People’s Republic, Zaporozhye Region and Kherson Region to the Russian Federation. I have no doubt that the Federal Assembly will support the constitutional laws on the accession to Russia and the establishment of four new regions, our new constituent entities of the Russian Federation, because this is the will of millions of people.

I have not have time to read this yet, but will do so and may comment after that. The other day we posted a short summary of this speech. We all should read at least that much. It has long been my contention that the greatest foreign policy failure in the world has been the failure of the West to form an alliance with Russia, or at least good relations. I still believe that today. One of the central reasons I liked Donald Trump early on was his desire to get along with Russia. Following the destruction of Nord Stream, the chance of the West establishing healthy relations with Russia has shrunk to near nothing. We face the prospect of WW3 instead. In that event, China will not side with us. What a terrible state we are in today, all due to greed, hubris, and ignorance. ABN

I have bolded a few sentences and paragraphs that are central to what Putin is saying. I highly recommend reading the entire speech. It is not that long and provides an extremely important analysis of the world today in Putin’s own words. At the end of his speech I have posted a short critique, which imo is worth reading. ABN

Who Profits from Pipeline Terror?

The War of Economic Corridors has entered incandescent, uncharted territory: Pipeline Terror.

A sophisticated military operation – that required exhaustive planning, possibly involving several actors – blew up four separate sections of the Nord Stream (NS) and Nord Stream 2 (NS2) gas pipelines this week in the shallow waters of the Danish straits, in the Baltic Sea, near the island of Bornholm.

Swedish seismologists estimated that the power of the explosions may have reached the equivalent of up to 700 kg of TNT. Both NS and NS2, near the strong currents around Borholm, are placed at the bottom of the sea at a depth of 60 meters.

Giorgia Meloni as Italian PM

The rise of Giorgia Meloni and her coalition of the right has struck fear into the hearts of the EU and the left everywhere. God forbid that a political movement arise that would challenge globalist dogma. As Ursula von der Leyen, head of the European Commission said before the election, said before the election, “If things go in a difficult direction— and I’ve spoken about Hungary and Poland—we have the tools.”

So Meloni has definitely made the right enemies. I was quite impressed about her statement on identity, which flies in the face of globalist dogma and reflects what sensible people on the right have been saying for some time.

Of course Islam and the rest of the immigrants have no problem with their very strong racial/ethnic/religious identities—encouraged by elites throughout the West. It’s only Europeans who are condemned for having them—obviously a losing proposition long term.

Trump calls for peace, offers to broker deal between US, Russia, and Ukraine to end war

Following reports on Tuesday that the Nord Stream pipelines traveling across the Baltic Sea were leaking, with European officials pointing to sabotage as the likely reason, former President Donald Trump called for a negotiated deal to get done, and for American leaders to remain “calm.”

“US ‘Leadership’ should remain ‘cool, calm, and dry’ on the SABOTAGE of the Nord Stream Pipelines,” Trump wrote on his social media platform Truth Social.

“This is a big event that should not entail a big solution, at least not yet. The Russia/Ukraine catastrophe should NEVER have happened, and would definitely not have happened if I were President.”

China’s economic output will lag behind the rest of Asia for the first time since 1990, according to new World Bank forecasts that highlight the damage wrought by President Xi Jinping’s zero-Covid policies and the meltdown of the world’s biggest property market. The World Bank has revised down its forecast for gross domestic product growth in the world’s second-largest economy to 2.8 per cent, compared with 8.1 per cent last year, and from its prediction in April of between 4 and 5 per cent for this year. At the same time, expectations for the rest of east Asia and the Pacific have improved. The region, excluding China, is expected to grow 5.3 per cent in 2022, up from 2.6 per cent last year, thanks to high commodity prices and a rebound in domestic consumption after the coronavirus pandemic.
