‘Inverse vaccine’ reverses autoimmune diseases like MS, diabetes & arthritis
Researchers have developed an “inverse vaccine” that reverses the damage caused when the immune system mistakenly attacks the body’s healthy organs and tissues in autoimmune diseases like multiple sclerosis, type 1 diabetes and rheumatoid arthritis. It could pave the way to a treatment for these diseases that doesn’t require suppressing the entire immune system.
Normally, a vaccine teaches the body’s immune system to recognize a viral or bacterial invader as an enemy that needs to be destroyed. Now, researchers from the University of Chicago have created an “inverse vaccine” that does the opposite.
The novel vaccine removes the immune system’s memory of one molecule, which, when fighting pathogens, would be undesirable but, in the context of autoimmune diseases, may prove to be a cure.
It’s the job of the immune system’s T cells to recognize specific foreign antigens on the surfaces of unwanted cells and launch an attack against them. However, T cells can sometimes get it wrong. In the case of autoimmune diseases like multiple sclerosis (MS), type 1 diabetes, and rheumatoid arthritis, the T cells become self-reactive, mistakenly considering healthy organs and tissues to be foreign organisms.
The researchers were aware of the importance of the liver in mediating local and systemic tolerance to self-antigens and foreign antigens. They exploited the organ’s natural mechanism of marking molecules from broken down cells with a ‘do not attack’ flag to prevent autoimmune reactions to cells that die by natural processes. By coupling an antigen with a molecule resembling a fragment of an aged cell, the liver recognized it as a friend rather than an enemy.
Synergistic pairing of ivermectin and fenbendazole found HIGHLY EFFECTIVE at preventing and treating cancer
When taken together, ivermectin and fenbendazole deliver a one-two punch to cancer. When combined with other anti-cancer nutrients such as quercetin, vitamins C and D, and curcumin, the effects are even more pronounced.
Preclinical studies show that both ivermectin and fenbendazole exhibit cytotoxic effects against cancer cells. The two drugs also inhibit the growth and spread of cancerous tumors.
“The mechanisms underlying these effects appear to involve disruption of critical cellular processes, leading to cancer cell death,” wrote Sid Belzberg in a paper cited by one of 2nd Smartest Guy in the World’s readers.
Stomach acid is good for you
Story at a Glance:
•Many pharmaceuticals on the market are automatically given to large numbers of patients despite the harms of these medications often greatly outweighing their benefits.
•One of the worst offenders are the acid suppressing medications, and their overprescription goes hand in hand with a widespread medical blindness to the critical functions of hydrochloric acid throughout the body and the actual causes of acid reflux.
•A variety of safe and non-invasive approaches exist to address the wide range of (often unrecognized) complications from acid reflux and dysfunctional stomach acid production.
Note: this article is a bit on the longer end, but since the stomach acid issues profoundly affect so many people, I felt I this article needed to be able to cover all the key points.
One of the more depressing parts of being an awake physician in the medical system is reading the drug lists of the patients you see and realizing how many prescriptions they are on that do not benefit them, and in many cases harm them. Presently, 66 percent of U.S. adults are estimated to have at least one prescription and on average, they have 9 prescriptions filled per year (which can include renewals of an existing one).
Since doctors are extremely reluctant to terminate existing prescriptions, this creates a scenario where people get placed on more and more drugs as they age (some of which are for treating the side effects of other drugs they are taking).
This situation is even worse for the elderly, who both have more time to be put on an increasing number of medicationso and due to their altered physiology are also the most vulnerable to the harmful effects of those mediations. For example, from 2009-2016, after 2 billions office visits were assessed, it was found that for adults over 65, 65.1% were on two or more drugs, 48.9% were on four or more, and 36.8% were on more than five (with the highest use occurring in the oldest Americans).

90% Reduction: Scientists Discover Natural Molecule That Eradicates Plaques and Cavities
3,3′-Diindolylmethane (DIM) decreased the Streptococcus mutans biofilm, a leading contributor to plaque and cavities, by 90%.
A significant portion of the global population experiences persistent issues with dental plaque and cavities or will face them at some time. While toothpaste, mouthwash, and routine dental visits help in prevention, there’s always room for improvement.
Researchers from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, in collaboration with teams from Sichuan University and the National University of Singapore, have identified that 3,3′-Diindolylmethane (DIM) – a naturally occurring molecule also referred to as bisindole – can reduce biofilms responsible for plaque and cavities by a remarkable 90%.
The molecule is also found to have anti-carcinogenic properties.
Their findings were recently published in the journal Antibiotics.
Study finds microplastics infiltrate all bodily systems, causing behavioral changes
A news study conducted by University of Rhode Island Professor Jaime Ross investigating the infiltration of microplastics in mammals has revealed that this is far more widespread than initially thought. In fact, the plastic particles were found to bioaccumulate in every organ, including, startlingly enough, the brain.
Microplastics are among the most pervasive pollutants on the planet. They have been discovered in the air, in water systems and food chains around the world. While their negative impacts on marine organisms have been established, few studies have examined the potential health impacts on mammals.
“Research on the health effects of microplastics, especially in mammals, is still very limited,” said Ross, an assistant professor of biomedical and pharmaceutical sciences at the Ryan Institute for Neuroscience and the College of Pharmacy.
The study noted that humans are exposed to microplastics through the consumption of ‘water, seafood, consumer products (clothes, toothpaste, salt, sugar, honey, beer, anything stored in plastic bottles, plastic wrap, or cans/cartons lined with plastic), and via inhalation from textiles, synthetic rubber tires, and plastic covers’. They have been detected, among others, in blood and even breast milk – findings that warrant more investigation into the health outcomes of such exposure in mammals.
Plant diversity in urban green spaces led to sevenfold increase in insect species, study finds
The benefits of urban greening initiatives are increasingly well documented: they can help mitigate the effects of urban heating, and improve physical health and mental wellbeing. And even small greening actions in cities can significantly improve local biodiversity, new research suggests.
Increasing the diversity of native plants in a single urban green space resulted in a sevenfold increase in the number of insect species after three years, Australian researchers have found.
According to the study’s authors, there had previously been “little empirical evidence of how specific greening actions may mitigate the detrimental effects of urbanisation”.
Mask study published by NIH suggests N95 Covid masks may expose wearers to dangerous level of toxic compounds linked to seizures and cancer
The surgical N95 mask has been held up as the gold standard when it comes to protecting against Covid.
But a study quietly re-shared by the National Institutes of Health in spring suggests the tight-fitting mask may expose users to dangerous levels of toxic chemicals.
Researchers from Jeonbuk National University in South Korea looked at two types of disposable medical-grade masks, as well as several reusable cotton masks.
The study found that the chemicals released by these masks had eight times the recommended safety limit of toxic volatile organic compounds (TVOCs).
Inhaling TVOCs has been linked to health issues like headaches and nausea, while prolonged and repeated has been linked to organ damage and even cancer.
Plus, masks do not protect against covid anyway. ABN
Research and Studies on CBD and Anxiety
CBD has gained a lot of attention in recent years for its potential therapeutic benefits for anxiety. While there is some evidence to support the use of CBD for anxiety, there are also limitations to the current research, and more studies are needed to fully understand the potential benefits and risks.
What does existing research say about the potential benefits of CBD for anxiety?
Several studies investigating the potential benefits of CBD for anxiety have borne promising results. Some of the proposed benefits of CBD for anxiety, according to emerging research, include:
- Reducing symptoms of generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) and social anxiety disorder (SAD)
- Improving sleep in people with anxiety
- Reducing anxiety in people with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
- Reducing symptoms of panic disorder
In the scientific literature, any drug or substance that causes a decrease in anxiety is known as an anxiolytic. Hence CBD is the subject of ongoing research into these proposed anxiolytic properties of CBD and their underlying mechanisms. Despite the need for some caution, these initial findings are exciting for researchers and sufferers of these varying facets of anxiety alike.
The linked essay is a thorough review of the use of CBD to relieve anxieties. Sent by a reader and well worth viewing if topic is of interest. ABN

Vax injury described
Vax injury analyzed: One in 35 display signs of myocardial injury — study
Campbell displays a lot of emotion in this. This is a good way to speak and good of him not to conceal his exasperation with health care officials who keep ignoring what is well known (and further proved by this study) — the vaxxes cause much more harm than good. And myocarditis is but one of those harms. ABN
FLASHBACK 12/2009: ‘Alarming’ mental problems seen in SARS survivors
NEW YORK (Reuters Health) – Many survivors of the severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) pandemic of 2003 suffer from persistent mental health problems and chronic fatigue years later, new research from Hong Kong shows.
What’s more, these psychiatric problems seemed to become more common among survivors over time, say Dr. Marco Ho-Bun Lam and colleagues from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, who call the persistence of these problems “alarming.”
A year after the disease outbreak, Lam and his team note in their report in the Archives of Internal Medicine, some survivors still had mental problems even though their physical symptoms had improved.
To look at these effects long-term, and to further investigate chronic fatigue symptoms often reported by SARS survivors, Lam and his team looked at 233 SARS survivors an average of 41 months after the study participants had gotten sick. The study participants’ average age was 43 years, and 70 percent were women.

FWIW, I am all but certain my partner and I had this, which we thought was a really bad flu, and recovered completely from it. No psychological issues for either of us but it did confer immunity to covid-19. Since many governments reveled in flexing their health authority during covid, we can be sure there will be more planned panics. SARS infections were limited in USA and world as respiratory viruses generally are. At that time, we were in the midst of a community that had many infections. ABN
