This is partly the result of infiltration into USA and decades of “leadership” that teach this sort of hatred and intolerance. The slave legacy is real and does have ramifications that perdure over many generations. Particularly bad are the effects on males who can be destroyed by the humiliation of slavery. Or serfdom. Or bonded servitude. Or being a lifelong underling, cannon fodder, a three-year old chimney sweep. Almost everyone in the world has this kind of ancestry. A major reason Ukraine has been so debased for so many recent decades is its people had been debased for centuries before that. Anyone with Eastern European ancestry will instinctively understand this. Same for Korean, Chinese, Aztec. It is very dangerous when any oppressed group becomes so resentful they want to murder the ephemera of their imaginations or seriously believe their considerable problems are due entirely to another race. If Americans don’t figure out pretty soon that our society has been infiltrated and taken over by hostile forces that are using normal human resentments to undermine our entire social structure without replacing it with anything good, we are not going to be Americans much longer. …Why did Pence and his staff spend four years hobbling the Trump Administration? Why can’t people believe that the GOP would try to impeach Trump to clear the way for Pence? Most Republican voters have never met the big GOP donors — and have no idea what they do with their money. The big donors wanted a Mike Pence/Nikki Haley ticket in 2024. They don’t really care what GOP voters want, and they never have. These are the people who pushed Jeb in 2016. And Paul Ryan before that. And Dan Quayle before that.
Pence is a creature of the GOP donors, not an America First patriot. That much is obvious now. Pence was added to the Trump ticket to restrain Trump’s populism — and that’s what he tried to do for four years. When pro-Trump aides were sidelined in the Trump White House, I heard the same thing from all of them: they were told to sit down and shut up and, if they were quiet, they might get to work for Pence and Haley in 2024.
It’s time for Republican voters to admit that they had no idea who Mike Pence was. Don’t be too upset with yourself. He fooled plenty of people. The man you thought he was — that guy doesn’t really exist. It’s time you paid much closer attention to your favorite politicians though— if you want your country to survive.

I can empathize with FDA and CDC employees who are disgusted by the horrible anti-science and quitting the agencies in droves, but many more of them need to go public with their objections. It may not be easy and you may harm your career but after killing hundreds of thousands of adults and grown children, they are now going after BABIES. No career is worth complicity in that. Also, the day may come soon when you will be rewarded for your courage even if is late in coming. It will take a generation at least to repair the harm done by US health agencies during covid. ABN
